  2. VaheGuru Ji Ka Khalsa, VaheGuru Ji Ki Fateh! Parkash 2014 is going to be celebrated on the grounds of Guru Nanak Sikh Academy, Springfield Road, Hayes, UB4 0LT. The 3-day annual festival demonstrates a range of activities for children such as bouncy castles, football tournament, face painting, Sikhi camp, Gatka displays. Also there is a medical camp where you can get your blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol checked as well as eyes specialist giving advice. Other stalls include food court, sweet shop, solicitors giving advice, Sikhi Heritage and much, much more. Free advice and reflexology treatment is given by professionals to some of the elderly visitors. Last year the event was attended by more than 60'000 people from around the Country over the three days bringing the traffic to a standstill in Springfield Road. We are grateful to Sikh Channel, Sangat TV and Star Plus for live coverage and their continued support at all our functions. The event is organised every year by the teachers and parents of the academy in order to help the young generation to understand the importance of selfless service and social harmony in Sikhism. We would like to thank all the sangat who attends every year and also people at home watching on the TV. A BIG thank you to all our sevadars, parents, students, community members for making Parkash a huge success; as without them this event would not be possible. We look forward to seeing you all at Parkash 2014 from Friday 11 July 2014 to Sunday 13 July 2014. VaheGuru Ji Ka Khalsa, VaheGuru Ji Ki Fateh! Source - http://parkash.org/Parkash_2014
