  1. The committee claim to want to start the reconstruction soon, but no date has been made avalible.

Scaffoding is up on the inside, but not much activity in terms of reconstructions.

BSSF intends to be politically more active and work on issues related to political, legal and socio-economic activism for maintaining and advancing the rights of Sikh people. We also hope to become a voice for Sikh Students who suffer a handicap on thier rights around the world, including France, Pakistan, USA, Canada and India.

We take our inspiration from the AISSF and hope to work on their lines and not on any competing basis in the UK.

BSSF has also endorsed Shaheed Jathedar Bhai Amrik Singh as a Patron as a sign of our intended direction.

BOSS will continue their great seva in Universities.

We dont intend to compete or take over anyone elses "patch."

BSSF intends to work with all organisations on a international level and actually has been recognised by various panthic groups around the world.

How can one join these exisiting organisations (student/youth) - is there a formal process.

BSSF has a full membership forms for interested people, but no other youth organisation has ask me to join, they just want to stop BSSF, thats all.

These people have no idea of the work being done or planned for the future by BSSF but claim that it is breaking away and dividing people?

Again, BSSF is alway up for collective work, but some give the vibe that they dont want to work with us!!!

If any organisation wishes to work with BSSF then please do get in contact, and BSSF will fully be supporting any and all work related to the reconstruction of the Bow Gurdwara.

  2. The "protest" was apparently rescheduled for the 24th may but not much was done to raise awareness about this in the sangat, if anything at all.

"Fake BOSS" - LoL has BOSS factioned into splinter groups like the All India Sikh Student Federation.

I would catagorically like to state, that BSSF has nothing to do with the organisation of this "protest" and we only promoted it through our network, once it was declared on the offical Bow Remembrance website.

    www.neverforgetbow09.co.uk-

There was also a event page under the name of GuptSinghniz Production on Facebook (sorry for any mis spelling) and BSSF just invited people to the protest through the "invite people" feature on Facebook.

BSSF has also promoted the Bhog programme taking place in Southall, but i guess nobody will say that BSSF is organising that as well?

  5. So which are the normal stuff, ? the gurdvara stall? boss stall? cov akj staall? sikh fed stall?

There is discussion with a Parcharik Organisation based in Kent, (Gravesend) who will provide the "standard" dvd's, cd's, books, Gukta Sahibs, kara's, Stickers etc.

The book "The game of love" by Harjinder Singh is also being sort after and other interest parties can contact us on 079 431 86 949, if they want to bring anything from parchar.

  6. yhh bruv just join the two!

the most sensible thing to do

    Jagowale Kavisihri Jatha

Will be at the Miri Piri Darbar in Southall.

Just realised you edited your post...so bhai sukha singh jee and bhai manvir singh jee won't be there jio?

They will be there, it's just that they, well..................... they want to keep a low profile if you know what i mean, so they asked us to remove their names for any promo's.

Sorry, khalsa ji, people keep asking, so i kinda got to give a anwser.

  7. What are the people who commented about BOSS actually doing?

Like stated before singhs do seva up and down the country and even now internationally but remain gupt instead of flashing there names everywhere.

As i have respectfully requested before, could we please refrain from slander of organisations and only make positive suggestions.

NOTE: BSSF has nothing against BOSS, and BSSF fully respects the seva done by BOSS.

Even if we decide to not work together, that gives nobody the right to be negative of BOSS.

I have always believed, that if you feel someone is not work up to scrath, then that doesn't mean that we should forget the good work done in the past.

  8. BOSS is dead anyway lol. they do a camp once a year then you never hear of them again. or if some program is being organised by someone then boss just have there logo put on for the pomp

    i agree lol :WW:

What would you like BSSF to do, that you think existing organisation may not be doing as well as they could be.

  9. To Guru Guru Jap

I am NOT a BOSS member or part of any organisation apart from the khalsa panth. I have in no way ever said that im part of BOSS, i do know the singhs and help with any seva given, likewise when other organisations do events we all help there. Stop trying to create issues.

    Thanks

To both bothers commenting above, if we could leave the issue there, it would be good, and is there any other way in which i could clear any existing doubts about BSSF.

  10. the only reason hes asking is to stir something up.. becouse they cant stand the fact that you guys are starting this big seva and they "Boss" dont have a hand init. jelousy runs peoples lives, dont get caught up in it folks

We're just trying to do our seva.

We dont mean to rival or compete with anyone.

Mod Note: All posters, just a gentle remind to stay on topic, although there is nothing wrong with a healthy discussion and debate, no bashing or personal attacks are allowed. :)
