You are making valid points. I'm not disagreeing with anything you're saying. There are certain things these missionary types are doing that are not good but they're also doing some good things as well like stopping these dera slush funds where sangat in punjab and abroad continue to give funds and matha tek to these fake babas who are ripping sikhi away from us. These missionaries also are connecting sangat with our partakh guru Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib. Sangat are flooding gurdwaras in Canada like never before to hear Dhunda's vichaars. If these missionaries stay in line and preach within their means than it is great however if they bring up raag mala, dasam granth, etc than yes there;s gonna be issues. In none of the divaans in Canada did Dhunda discuss raag mala, dasam granth, or any other kala afghana concepts. He was simply joring sangat with Dhan Sri Granth Sahib Maharaj

Singh Sahib Ji, please don't take this personally. Last comment I'll make on Multani is that I hope Sikh Society gets cleaned up. That gurdwara has been under control of same few families for 30 years and have no vision of moving forward and actually teaching about sikh philosophy so I hope you are correct and singhs can one day take control and bring Gurdwara back under panthic principles. As for Dhunda, we will agree to disagree.

Khalsa Ji, please don't get upset. I apologize if I offended you. It seems you are Mr. Multani yourself with how personal you took that remark. Bhul Chaak Maaf karma Mr. Multani. I was just bringing up something that I witnessed with my own 2 eyes. Krodh overtaking Mr. Multani as he viciously threw something at Dhunda. You can think what you want about Dhunda but throwing something at someone in Maharaj Hazoori is not something to be proud of. Secondly, I don't appreciate being called a goon. Because I don't hate Dhunda and throw things at him I'm a goon?? Third, what Mr. Multani did at Sikh Society has 2 versions to it. I'm glad you wrote your piece on it becuase it provides the other side of the story. The sikh community in Edmonton has heard a different story such as Mr. Multani being the aggressor and physically abusing committee members and threatening them which led to police order for Mr/ Multani to stay away from Sikh Society.

Among the other shenanigans not picked up in Edmonton was Dharminderjeet Multani, who has been banned from 2 of the gurdwaras in Edmonton, throwing an envelope at dhunda. Did anyone see that?

So much anger in this thread, everyone settle down. One thing that has become obvious here is that Gurdwara Singh Sabha in Edmonton has come under the control of SSI. I've been living in this city my whole life and have never seen this gurdwara push any agenda like they've been doing since the radio guy Kulmit became secretary. The other Sangha guy who used to be secretary had so much nimrata but since the Kulmit the radio guy and the khanda guy Grewal came into power at Singh Sabha it has lost a lot of sangat too. Ramgharia gurdwara has taken full advantage. Singh Sabha sangat used to outnumber Ramgharia always but that has changed the last few years. I hope people come to their senses....I remember police intervened a few times back in late 2010 at Singh Sabha but I didn't know what it was about but it seems like the other party was the ones who started chanting in front of Dhunda.

Where are these guys now to take a stand? Why isn't anything being done to fight against these missionary colleges? Are these guru pyaare going to sit back like Chamberlain and appease these folks?

You may have missed this part of my post: I have heard a couple of different accounts of what happened that night and I don't think it's fair for me to comment on the alleged "fight" since I didn't see it first hand. Fateh Ji, I was born in Edmonton and have been here my whole life. I've also been viewing this message board for a number of years although rarely posting. I don't consider myself anti or pro-Dhunda. I love listening to katha where parcharaks try to jorh the sangat with Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jio. Being born here I don't have extensive knowledge of Dasam Granth but I like most sikhs who have any common sense recognize that Dasam Granth is NEEDED to aid in understanding sikh philosophy just like Bhai Gurdas Ji vaars. Reading and watching youtube videos of Dhunda it is pretty obvious that anti-Dhunda people have slapped Dhunda with guilt by associaton. Associating with moorakh's like Ghagga is going to lead to his downfall and maybe that will be for the best if he is excommunicated from the panth. However when it was announced Dhunda was coming to Edmonton I decided I would go to listen and see what he has to say. I was not at Guru Ghar during the first divaan due to work but heard about the nonsense. I have been to 4 divaans now and 2 things have become very obvious. 1) Dhunda is highly educated and well schooled in his knowledge of gurbani. This could be a huge issue if he continues to associate himself with Ghagga and company because I don't believe there is a parcharak in the world at this time who can go head-to-head with Dhunda in his knowledge of gurbani. 2) Dhunda is very charismatic and draws people towards him. Contrary to what people above have posted, it is not mostly clean shaven people there to listen to him, I am shocked at the number of young kesdhari people who were there to listen to his views. Dhunda has not said anything to misdirect sangat in the divaans I have sat in.....I do ardaas every day that Dhunda disassociate himself from moorakhs like Ghagga and comes to his senses. This parcharak DOES say a lot of great things. His parchar on peaceful family life and anti-dera views are excellent and needed in this world of fake babas stealing money from poor sangat by misguiding them and breaking apart families. I have heard myself of a couple of people in Edmonton going home and throwing all meat and alcohol out of their homes after listening to Dhunda's vichaar. That can't be a bad thing. This man Dhunda has the ability to really grow sikhi BUT again he needs to come to his senses and disassociate himself from the missionary idiots. It sounds like he is heading back to Punjab in the next week or so. I personally hope he does go to Akal Takhat ON HIS OWN and not with missionary goons like Darshan Lal. The ball is in Dhunda's court. If he wants to continue to be relevant he can disassociate himself with missionary moorakhs and apologize to Akal Takhat or he can join his buddy Darshan Lal in irrelevancy and be kicked out of the panth. I know what you're talking about. It's performed by Bhai Amritpal Singh Sangroor Wale, former saathi of well known kirtanee Sant Niranjan Singh. I recorded it off the radio one day. It's not as clear as the live recording. I'll upload it soon.
