  3. Vaheguroo Jee Ka Khalsaa! Vaheguroo Jee Ki Fatheh!

Hard times, but don't give up.

Guru Kirpa, I just started my new job (first one!) about 3 weeks ago. I went to the assessment day and interview with daRaa parkaash and I got the job, so there's no reason to see this as an obstacle. And, I know Singhs with really long daaRey (compared to my tiny one!!), and they all have really good jobs!

It's true that people's first impression of you is pretty much based on your appearance, but your shining personality and character are key to winning them over. Besides, if you think they reject you because of your appearance, then they're not the type of employer you want to work for anyway.

I'm not a highly confident person, and I can't even converse well, but if I can do it, so can you!

Just do Ardaas as Bhenji said.

    Guroo Rakhaa!

Pyare jio, due to demand, we will be re-doing the "Conversations with God". It will be held this time at Guru Gobind Singh Gurdwara, Leeds Road, Bradford. It is part of a series of Shabad Guru Smagams in recognition of 300th Anniversary of the Gurgaddi of the Sahib Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. This programme will be on Sunday 28th September from 10am to 1pm.

These programmes will be in English and Punjabi, and are especially for Sikh Youth.

These programmes will allow us all to take a small dip into vast ocean of spirituality with the Siri Guru Granth Sahib.

This is a must for ANYONE wanting to understand more about Sikhi, whether you're Amritdhari or not. I've personally attended The Sikh Course twice, and each time, something new has clicked in my AvguN Bhariaaa mind!

If you have friends who have shown an interest in Sikhi then this is definitely for them!

Make sure you register before attending!!

    :-)
