  1. It was during the time when Sikh militants were fighting for a seprate state. A lot of old scores were settled during that time, families killed family members over land and blamed the Sikh militants. Whos to say that it wasnt one of his relatives that got rid of him due to out of caste relationship and the types of songs he sung.

Thousands of Sikhs dissapeared, into thin air during them times what about that mystery?

  3. Justice Vs Mercy THE CLASH OF THE VIRTUES

Justice is required because a good and functioning society requires the presence of justice - as long as people trust that justice will be done, they will better be able to trust one another. Mercy, however, is also required because "we all need mercy ourselves." The remission of moral debts may embolden sin, but it may also embolden virtue by giving people a second chance.

Virtues are traditionally conceived as standing midway between two vices; while justice and mercy may be virtues rather than vices, is it conceivable that there is yet another virtue that is midway between them? A golden mean among golden means? If there is, it has no name - but knowing when to show mercy and when to show strict justice is the key in navigating through the dangers that an excess of either may threaten.

  4. Just read this on Tapoban Forum thoguht i would share it....

Yesterday, some of the gursikhs were shopping for a new house for themselves. Along with them was 5 year old Tapoban kid - Nageena Singh. They went into a house where lives a 4 year old girl who goes to the same school as Nageena Singh. Girl's mother, much to the embarrassment of the little girl, narrated little girl's first day at school as follows:

I was very concerned about my little girl on her first day of school. I went to the bus stop for the school bus. She did not want to let go of me since she had never been left alone. With some difficulty I convinced her to sit in the bus. She was hesitant and scared. I dropped her off but could not go home; so I followed the bus to the school.

The school bus reached the school and all kids came out of the bus. I expected my daughter to be crying her eyes out but I was pleasantly surprised to see that she was in a jolly good mood and was smiling. I approached her and hugged her. She asked me, "why have you come here mom?"

"I just wanted to make sure you were okay, dear".

"You know mommy, I saw a very "Sohna Munda" today. He was wearing a different dress (she was referring to Nageena Singh’s Navy Blue Khalsa baana). He had a very beautiful Blue crown (She was referring to Nageena Singh’s dumaala) on his head. Mom, he looked like a prince. I have never seen such a "Sohna Munda".

Apparently, the girl upon seeing Nageena Singh forgot about her agony and got lost in the baana of “Sohna Munda”.

When her mom finished narrating this story, everyone was laughing. The little girl got so embarrassed that she started crying. Nageena Singh's face too was a little blushed.

The moral of the story is that Khalsa baana is a beautiful dress and we all should wear it. If we want to be "Sohnay Munday" or "Sohniyaan Kuriaan", then we must wear Khalsa baana.

  5. Suicide is just a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Suicide sometimes proceeds from cowardice, but not always; for cowardice sometimes prevents it; since as many live because they are afraid to die, as die because they are afraid to live.

Anyone desperate enough for suicide...should be desperate enough to go to creative extremes to solve problems

  6. These kind of things happen when people want freedom someone will always try and stop the revolt. Indra Gandhi attacked Harmandar Sahib. Sikhs did not appeal for her arrest they new such things were a dream. Satwant Singh and Beant Singh decided to take justice into their own hands. I am not really into politics as such but from little knowledge of have it does not seem Kps Gill will be sent down for his crimes, Unless some Sikhs take it into their own hands as did Satwant Singh and Beant Singh.
