Looks awesome, quick question though.
People avoid making cartoons/3d characters for the Guru Sahiban which make sense, they don't want to do any disrespect.
But then are the 4 sahibzadeh not worthy of, if not the exact same, but similar respect?
And placing a picture of Guru Ji as opposed to rendering a 3d image, is this supposed to be the lesser of two evils?
But the movie looks awesome! Really impressed with the quality of CGI.

My mom is very sick has cancer and she is vegetarian never in her life she ate egg or meat. Now she is getting advice of others to start eatin egg. Is it ok to eat eggs like she is eating medicine. Or should she not eat egg because that's what Sikhs are told by gurus. Please suggest.
OP Ji,
Let us know the type of cancer, and try and ask the doctor what the egg provides that is good for fighting the cancer. Any additional info such as stage, whether its metastasized. Also is your mom overweight, healthy sized? How is she physically, still able to walk, do work around the house? Is she going through chemo or any other radiation treatments?

Its not scary, its the truth. Maharaj ji only tells the truth as it is, its ones like me that dont want to hear these things, as it shakes our balanced mind. But its all Wahegurus hukam, it happens.
Balanced in terms of our own manmukhi ways I guess, which in reality means that a truthful shabad like this balances our mind and when you can see yourself clearly without maya distorting your view it can show you just how far your gone.
That's what scares me.

Has anyone been able to find this book in english/pdf form? I went to the local sikh book store and they were sold out. Tried reading the punjabi version and was left even more confused than before.

In Canada you see it everywhere now. All over these guys have their patkas tied durag style and have fitted caps on top.
From what I've seen, most of these guys are wanna be gangsters. Just yesterday I saw a singh, if you can call him that, wearing a durag style patka, smoking next to his car with the speakers blasting music.

Sangat ji I have a question.
I have a pothi at home that used to be a part of a set of 2 pothi's. The one I have is the second half of the guru granth sahib. I would like to start reading from the guru granth sahib more frequently than I have been and was wondering If I purchased the first half in pothi form how would I keep the two pothis?
Of course gurbani deserves the ultimate respect but if both pothi's are under one roof would I have to do parkash of guru granth sahib ji? I don't have the discipline for that yet, don't know the maryada completely either and in not wanting to make a mistake I thought I would ask for advice first.

I agree some of these pictures can be inspirational, and If I was in the UK and attended that gurudwara i would be sad to see it go down. but it's ridiculous if this escalated to the point where the police had to be involved.

This is the message I get when I try playing it on Windows media player:
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."
The whole thing was sent from an imac. Is that the reason why it's not playing?
wherever the file is, desktop, documents right click on the icon and select properties.
it will bring up a new window with a whole bunch of information about the file like the size, location on disk etc.
one heading will say Type of file:. what does it say here?
for example when I click on a media file it says: Type of file: VLC media file (.wma)
if its coming from a mac and not playing on windows media player its probabaly quicktime file.
also what is the name of the file, 344523.mov 34434.mpg or something along those lines?

Is this thing still going on? I don't think it takes 9 pages of post to answer this question, unless your going to give a really deep response that will go over most peoples head because it will sounds like mysticism.
human, play devils advocate with yourself. It's hard to do this without bias but when you take a deep breath, detach yourself, and examine everything from every angle you can possibly think of, its much more enlightening than getting frustrated or fighting with people on an online forum.

Just wanted the members of this site to give me there opinions, on the kirpans . I am trying to make an affordable usable and beautiful kirpan for everyday carry. Yes the design is very similar to a popular produced kirpan, honestly he got it right on the design but not on the price.Hand made Damascus/ wootz 1095 carbon steel with 15n20 nickel about 180 layers. The picture with 3 kirpans are made from a single billet and are cut and shaped accordingly. the other two are made of the same material but the handles are pinned and are not one piece of steal. Both blades should be really strong was just figuring out the best way to making them. This is still in the early stages. Will be torture testing these kirpans to make sure they are battle ready weapons. I still not sure about the sheath. I am working on kydex sheaths now still in design phase. But i am hoping to offer these kirpans for $150-180 dollars usa. I am also working on a economical version at about $90 us dollars. Not really a business for me its more of a hobby and side-project. All version will come with kirpan and sheath. Well i am eagar to read your comments.

What else are you going to do with the money? might as well give it to someone who needs it. Or find someone trustworthy to distribute it. When you die would you rather be held accountable for keeping 10% and be stuck in chaurasi again or have just given it and be held for the small amounts which were used dishonorably :S.
And karma can be quite complex sometimes, so do what you can with sharda and good intentions. If you feel like your being swindled by some golak pilfering committee members, dont give up. get off your but and go help the needy directly.
