  1. CORRECTED Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale Ji Wikipedia Page.
  2. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh! 1. Surely the Sikh leaders within Birmingham had told the Rep what they had a problem with with the plays setting i.e in a Gurdwara. 2. The reason why a minority acted as they did was out of frustration. 3. Didnt the Rep think maybe if they changed ONE thing everything would be ok? Especially as the Birmingham Inter-Faith group also objected to it. A group which includes Christians, Jews, Hindus, Muslims, Bhuddists and many other faiths. 4. Where are these 'death threats' agianst the 'writer' of the play? If they were real, wouldnt the police have commented? 5. Where was the CRE in all of this? If it was set in a church, synagoggue, mandir or mosque they would have been in Birmingham faster than siperman. Was the tv coverage not enough for them? 6. Surely the 'writer' knew what could happen? (Bet this also gives good publicityfor her BBC play that shes written) 7. The media seems to have forgotten to mention that for several days before Saturday there had been peaceful protests. 8. What if i write a play about Nelson Mandelas early life, when he was a terrorist. Would that be acceptable? 9. If i write a play about, say a theatre owner who puts on a christmas pantomine so that he can audition little kids for the roles and sexually abuse will the Rep accept my play? P.S. Wikipedia seems to have changed the description on Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale Ji. Guess what i'll be doing next.
  3. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh! I apologise if some people are fed up of me posting about one subject only and always. This seems to have become an obsession of mine. However, someone edited my piece on Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale Ji! Surprisingly, it was not watered down to give a more biased view but expanded and actually made better. I think it was by a fellow Sikh Brother or Sister from the tone of it. If it was someone off of this messageboard, i would just like to say thanks! :TH: Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale Ji Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!
  4. I re-wrote what was on there. Just wanted to make sure what i had written was 100% correct. Its now been a few days and my re-written piece on Sand Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale Ji i still up. :TH: Last time it got changed within 24 hours. Guess the BJP are losing their touch since they got kickked out of government.
  5. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh! Went in Feb 84, 87 and 94. All i can remember about 84 was being under curfew, i think it was and having to be inside by 6pm. Or unless it was my mother, just saying it to stop me messing about on the koo.
  6. Someone has changed the description to Bhindranwale that i and i guess a few others of my Sikh brothers and sisters would not agree with. I hope this one is more reflective of everyones views. Leave a message if anything is incorrect or needs to be added. Thank you. Wikipedia - Bhindranwale
  7. WAHE GURU JI KA KHALSA, WAHE GURU JI KI FATEH I have a mate whos having a baby boy and he's trying to decide on names. He wants 'proper' names. The main ones so far are Jarnail/Udham/Baldev/Avtar. Anyone know of a website for Sikh names and the meaning/origin of them? Thanks. :TH:
  8. WAHE GURU JI KA KHALSA, WAHE GURU JI KI FATEH I was just watching the news here in the UK, and Jack Straw (British Foreign Sec.) was addressing the UN. One of the things he was talking about was global terrorism. He said (something like) it affected us all, whether we we Christian, Muslim, Jew, Hindu, SIKH or Bhuddist. We are taught in school that these are the 6 largest religions, yet the option for a persons ethinic background on forms etc. in the UK does not include Sikh/Punajbi/Khalistani. I know that the options are added after the results of a census depending on how many people are of a certain faith, ethnicity, job etc. I think that the 'target' is 40,000 people (nationwide) to add it to forms. This was the target for people who wanted 'Jedi' as an official faith. Im pretty sure there are more than 40,000 Sikhs in the UK, so why isn't it an option? I remember reading and article a while a go that said it was going to be looked into and would most likely be added officially. Usually i end up ticking the box for Asian-British. I have ticked other, and written Sikh. Anyone know who i need to write to about this? Thanks. :TH:
  9. Hello. I originally posted my message because i was deeply offended by what was written on the Wiki profile for Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale Ji. Imagine what would happen if someone wrote that the holocaust didn't really happen, and Hitler was innocent. Today i decided to check if it had changed. I know someone put this Saint Soldiers - Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale on there which i though was a better description of what a great and influential man he was. It now has been changed, most likely be someone at Wiki. It know says Latest Wiki Page This i think is possibly a more fair and balanced view (though not the one id like to see). If you click on edit you get the message "This page has been locked to prevent editing. There are a number of reasons why this may be so; please see Wikipedia:This page is protected" A previous version, changed after i posted on here but before the latest page was put (sorry if this is confusing  ) said: The greatest sikh hero of the 20th centuary. The 14th jathedar of Dam Dami Taksal. It was changed, Wiki says because: Please do not insert your opinions into Wikipedia articles. Thanks --"<admin-profanity filter activated>" CHENEY 16:38, 16 Jun 2004 (UTC) Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  10. Doing a serach on Wikipedia (an encyclopedia website) for Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, brings up this website: Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale Info on Wikipedia. This in my view is insulting! Is there anyway to copy and paste the the info about Saint Soldiers on Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale Saint Soldiers - Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale to replace these lies? Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
