sangat ji, i need to learn more about our history, could youp please suggest books to read and a order to read them in. i know our basic history but need to know more in depth. also any suggestions for other dharmic books would help, i know a few... power of ardaas, say khanayiaa, the sikhs..... but its a order of readin then thet i would like to know, i dunno where 2 start! lol

And i heard recently that everything we eat/drink comes at the cost of life (ie we hve to cut plants/veg to eat them, therefore cutting thier lives), even water comes at a cost. Our nitnem is supossed to balance this, so no one could really account for eating meat, as its taking a large life, unesessarily. so we r veggies 2 try and limit the amount damage we do to vaheguroos creation.

thats wat i heard nd i thought it kinda made sense, as our nitenm is upossed to balance out our actions, so if your a super mega papi lyk me then, 5 bani nitnem aint enough 2 cancel out my paaps :s

dont want 2 sound silly but....i was wondering, when online and reading gurbani if it is wrong to highlight and read gurbani??? erm i got the thought because we shouldnt follow gurbani in a gutka sahib with our finger, so does this mean we shouldnt do this online for satkaar??

Ive posted this shabad cos it reminded me of how antarjamee siri guroo granth sahib ji is. Papis lyk me 4get the power of the jot of our gurus that is in gurbani....

I was sittin in a kirtan darbar wen i heard this shabad start bein played, thanks 2 the sttm sevadaars, i could understand the translation, and seriously wen i heard it, tears started rolling down my eyes..........

Bahgat Kabeer ji nailed it here on speakin what we feel when far from maharaj, wen our amrit vela is weak, maybe weve done something wrong or feel were not making any progress in our sikhi, and we just wana cry out 2 vaheguroo nd try to explain ourselves. In this sabad guroo ji shows us he undertands....

Sorry , i supose this is a bit random, ive naver posted in this section b4 but i just wanted 2 share the feelin u get when guroo ji looks in your soul and speaks to you, which he does in so many ways..........this is just one :s

It makes a great significance to the kirtan (thats why maharj made it!)

The mood of the shabad and the time at which it is 2 b sung is all done for the sangat to get the most anand out of it and to get closer to akaal purukh through the kirtan

nd the sound current of raag should reach your soul, connecting you with maharaj
