  1. Waheguru Ji ka khalsa Waheguru Ji ki fateh As we know Anand Karaj is not only the union between a Sikh man and a Sikh women, but its a union between us and the Supreme Being, God. We walk around Sri Guru Granth Sahib 4 times because this reminds us that Guru Ji is suppose to be the center of our life, while the saadh sangat around us is our support system. The first stanza signifies commitment to righteousness, to be on the spiritual path and to communicate with the soul through prayer. The second stanza consists of meeting the True Guru, they are told to lose their ego, and sacrifice, they are to overcome personalities and judgments. The third stanza consists of saying that they have become part of the Sadh Sangat, and that they should devote their lives to service and divinity in order to live the destiny that they have been given. In the last stanza, they have completed the journey and essentially merged with the infinite, each having inspired the other. I hope this helps!! Pul Chuk Maaf Waheguru Ji ka khalsa Waheguru Ji ki fateh
