Muslims and Science- expect to hear bunk you can give them crystal clear 100% approved science and if it contradicts islam they won't believe it (just like proof circumcision is a bad choice). An animal is bound to feel pain with jhatka but it will feel more pain if you do the halal method, one muslim I talked to disagreed because they said the main artery is cut in the neck so all feeling goes (what a fool didn't know the difference between a blood vessel and a nerve), it will feel more pain when being bleed to death. It's very disturbing that most Muslims you will meet actually believe this. They think that Baba Farid Jee was a staunch Muslim and so we Sikhs who read His Bani should all convert to Islam as a result. They don't know that the Baba Farid whose Bani is written in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee was Sheikh Brahm. Khair, we know the reality of Islam and of Sikhism. Their religion takes them to Gian Khand which is temporary, while Sikhi can take a person to the ultimate destination which is Sachkhand.

Can you blame them, I hear Sikh interfaith events were Sikhs say we follow a muslim and bow down to our scripture which has the writing of a muslim. well akali dal dictate what is what to sgpc they are one and the same at this moment. Lal batee wali have plagued all of punjab.

The Hukamnama should probably be amended to include Tankha/excommunication for the Granthi/Gurdwara Committee members conducting such a ceremony. Its only then they will hesitate to allow such marriage on Gurdwara premises.

If you look at the video above what seems to be happening is the areas which are blank (node) on the black sheet are blank because waves are cancelling each other out and in the ingrained shape areas (anti nodes) waves are adding together hence forcing them into such patterns.

Additionally I think most muslims argue islam prohibits child marriage but they argue when a girl starts her periods she is then an adult and they argue from the age of around 9 aisha wasn't a child but an adult. Abu argues we have no declaration of what age makes someone an adult. Through western sciences the western world have established it to be 18-21 say 21 to be on the safer side of things although some still argue 16, even though the marriage between an Old age pensioner and a 16 year old is disgusting still for a person called the most perfect human. As for the polygamy thing the mian mir lot use it as an argument against sikhs.

I don't think there is much problems with having more then one wife if they all consent to it and as long as they are adults. All of these mian mir sufi lot argue this as do other muslims against Sikhs. I have known some Sikhs who have 2 wives because one wife couldn't have a child and instead of divorcing her and kicking her out of the house, he kept her. I guess the SGPC won't allow it so people just do their own marriages or don't bother and keep the wife plus in india loads of women live in poverty it's a means to come out of it, for some who were divorced they can remarry likewise that way, it might not be the ideal scenario but it works for many people.

Had he divorced her it would be difficult to remarry knowing she is infertile, a lot of women in india in that time were jobless they couldn't break into the job market (things have changed now recently in india). Her life would have been hell and she could have committed suicide. Instead she lived happily with the 2nd wife who had a child, they both raised it happily and lived happily together. Some might say the guy is wrong he should have adopted a child but adoption for some people is difficult and trivial for the child to be told they aren't blood and for some to raise someone who ain't of their own they feel differences sometimes.

As for kosher food she has some kinda point about it, in Islam a muslim can eat kosher food but a jew can't eat halal food it's not the same both ways, kosher laws also have restrictions on milk and meat products being stocked. Christians don't seem to care much about what slaughter form is used but biblically kosher is recommended and it's a disservice to advocate halal meat for everyone when jews can't eat it.
