Sikhi isnt as black and white as people like to have it these days.... what brother Five is unable to understand is that during the times of our shaheeds, the oppression and tyranny was in the form of a government which physically imposed their the death. In the case of this monk it was again the Government of the time which caused a situation aroun the Monks death tyrannous, dont forget most of our shaheeds if not all had options, the option to convert and avoid death but no they "chose" death rather than converting. Transpose that very idea to this Monks situation, didnt the monk also "choose" deatht than to carry on taking the abuse the Diem regime imposed on southern vietnamese monks? Fair enough there was no jalaad there but his situation was the jalaad. He knew that in his self immolation the world would rise up and bring an end to the oppression of Buddhists, which it did. Therefore his act is not suicide. If his self immolation was for the betterment of his qaum then he is a shaheed. Suicide by your definition is "willingly giving yp your life" , didnt Sahib Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji Maharaj "willingly give up his life" for Hindus? Maharaj's shaheedi is mahaaan param mahaan, no one can compare anyones shaheedi to our Satgurus as they are Gods incarnated light on earth. But to belittle a shaheed such as this monk is ghor paap.
SUICIDE IS WHEN A PERSON LOOSES ALL HOPE AND REFUSES TO GO ON, BECAUSE HE/SHE HASNT THE MENTAL OR PHYSICAL STRENGTH. THIS MONK DIDNT LOOSE HOPE INFACT HE HAD HOPE, HOPE IN THAT HIS "SACRIFICE" WILL BRING ABOUT CHANGE. THIS MONK HAD THE MENTAL AND PHYSICAL STRENGTH TO GO AHEAD WITH THE ACT WHEREAS MOST PEOPLE WOULD TAKE EASY ROUTE SUCH AS SLEEPING PILL OVERDOSE ETC TO INDUCE AND EASY PAINLESS DEATH.

bombings in which radical Hindus are suspected (reftel). The outlandish comments suggested that somehow Hindutva elements were in league with the Mumbai
attackers, or used the attacks as cover to kill Karkare. The opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) immediately called for Antulay’s resignation and
protested with boisterous walkouts in parliament over the course of five days. Compounding matters, the Congress Party, after first distancing itself
from the comments, two days later issued a contradictory statement which implicitly endorsed the conspiracy. During this time, Antulay’s completely
unsubstantiated claims gained support in the conspiracy-minded Indian-Muslim community. Hoping to foster that support for upcoming national elections,
the Congress Party cynically pulled back from its original dismissal and lent credence to the conspiracy. Regardless of Chidambaram’s dismissal
(and Antulay’s party-ordered retraction), the Indian Muslim community will continue to believe they are unfairly targeted by law enforcement and that
those who investigate the truth are silenced. The entire episode demonstrates that the Congress Party will readily stoop to the old caste/religious-based

the 5.99 billion that you mention dont all go to 'hell' but back into charasi lakh joon, some are born again as humans , some must go through many life forms, according to the karam you create. heaven and hell can be experienced in our life time and charasi lakh joon can be sed to be like hell, as we are away from Vaheguru , but we cant say all non sikhs will go to hell. however we can say that this opportunity of human life, was given by the grace and blessings of Vaheguru, as bani ses even the demi god/angels wish for the human life, it is our chance to merge with Akaal purakh

the singhs in canada did well, in fact they taught a lesson to these darshan panthis that they will never forget. Some call maharaj harsh and extreme for burning masands, some will call singhs harsh and extreme for thrashing some darshan panthis. what did both these masands and darsh panthis have in common? They both tried to <banned word filter activated> with the khalsa and Guru himslef or Guru in Guru-panth had to sort the <banned word filter activated> out.
