  1. I just don't understand one thing, who gave you (amar_jkp) the right to call Sai Baba (not afro dude) a fake.

In fact Sai Baba preached teachings similar to Sache Patshah Sri Satguru Nanak Dev Ji, teaching humanity.

You lot go on saying "how dare they worship a "man" who considers himself as an incarnation of God"

Don't we consider Satguru Nanak as Nirankar swaroop? No where does Sai Baba (the old one) say that he is God.

Just like Satguru Nanak Dev Ji, he never said that he was Nirankar, yet us his followers his Sikh consider him as Nirankar.

Its just amazing to see how hypocritical you all are.

  2. concentration = No. Moles/Volume

you have 0.0006983mg of asprin dissolved in 50ml of methanol

No. of Moles = Actual Mass/ Mr

your actual mass is 0.0006983 divide that by the Mr of Asprin which must also be converted into milligrams as the standard of Mr is grams, do that by dividing it by 1000

That will give you the No. of moles

divide that value by your volume which is 50ml

and you should have your concentration in mg/ml

if im not wrong to convert g to mg you mulitiply by 1000 and not divide which what i think you've done

    ye sorry times by 1000

    did it work?

if not just try going along the lines of those equations u shud reach ur answer, and google the assumptions your allowed to make etc etc

  4. Sri Satguru Angad Dev Ji and Satguru Amar Das Ji went through many trials before being given the highest padvi of Guruship.

Just so a sikh goes through many trials before becoming a Gursikh.

There is a difference between Sikh and Gursikh a fine difference.

Instead of offering piar we offer disdain to sehajdharis which inevitably incurs their scorn for becoming Gursikh.

We must crawl before we walk... otherwise as i said we would all be born amritdhari (a person who conquers 5 chor and the temptations of the world which drive us away from Satguru)

  5. To be a Sikh (student) is to have the Guru (teacher), right?

If you do not Khande Baate Da Amrit, then you ultimately do not have a Guru.

From Sri Satguru Angad Dev Ji to Satguru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji they did not take khande baate da amrit, did they not have a Guru, was Satguru Nanak not the Guru of Satguru Angad Dev Ji and so on?

It was Guru Gobind Singh Ji's hukam that in order to become his Sikh you must take Amrit first. The Panj Payare didn't just give their heads away for entertainment purposes. They gave their heads to Maharaj Ji to finally have such a GURU which will direct them the path to Akaal Purakh. Then how can you be a SIKH?! Are you following your Guru's Hukam?

Is that a true definition? By that statement one could be a compulsive liar, not be charitable, ill mannered, selfish etc but because they have taken Amrit they are automatically branded as a "Sikh". If that was the case then everyone whose karam are sat would be born Amritdhari

    Sachay Patshah Says:

gur isK lY gurisK hoix swDsMgiq jg AMdir jwxI]

Having adopted the teaching of the Guru, the Sikhs become Gursikhs, the Sikhs of the Guru, and join the Holy Congregation wherever they find it.

Every one is a sikh first and upon finding their Guru they become GURsikh. Its a PATH, which leads to a destination. You cannot reach the destination without treading along the path. The destination being Satguru and the path, the trials and tribulations of having to fight the temptations of the world that prevent us from becoming Gursikh.

  6. the problem with this forum is that no one thinks with a thanda dimaag. Then again is our youth wasnt the slightest bothered when the beautiful frescos of Amritsar were covered with bathroom tiles what difference is the destruction of the heritage of nanded going to make??

  7. Veer/Bhen Degh-Tegh-Fateh,

Ignorance is seriously bliss for you isn't it? How can you say that raag is what people liked back in the time of our Satgurus? People also liked folk music too, which Satguru has catered for by creating Raags like Maajh.

There is a reason behind everything and sometimes its best to not even question as some brothers and sisters on this forum have pointed out, because we should do things because satguru says so.

Why wont you people understand that there is a deep science behind the use of Raag to carry bani accross to the listener. We will reach the stage where soo people will say its ok to read Gurbani wrong (i.e. pronunciation) as long as the person reciting bani is reciting bani.

Every decision that Satguru made was future proof, so how is this ideology about raag only restricted to the time of our Gurus?

Like a veer said, we live in an age where the gun is prevelant, should we drop our kirpana and pick up guns?

If Bani is the sentances and paragraphs then the Raag is the grammer, which dictates the context in which we should understand bani.

Countless times have i used the analogy about shouting at a child with a smile on the face, it will do nothing but confuse. The lakh khushia patshahia shabad which we twist to feed our swarth and manmukhta, by a) using "lakh khushia patshahia" as the anthra and b) singing it in a happy tune. This totally destroyes the meaning of the shabad because Siri Raag is a very serious raag, which is befiting in this shabad because everyones central focus in life is happiness which is a very serious matter, and Satguru states that we must nasht the panj chor and submit to Satguru before we can gain ultimate bliss. Tell me whats so happy and lovey dovey about that. Satguru is teaching us a serious lesson that nothing is achieved without penance etc. By singing it in a happy tune we are nothing but diluting the gravity of the message.

Wake up people and smell the atta on the jori, enough of this foolish manmat and swarth and idiotic notion that what matters is that you recite bani which is all that matters. If you cant implement the grammer of bani samaj swah ohni ya? And by not using correct grammer we arent reciting bani correctly especially when weve got £5 raagis grabbing any tukh as the mukh ang.

Ram Rai altered a one word and satguru refused to see him, we are altering the entire structure of bani isnt that worse?

    Wake up!

  8. i understand you can't listen/sing certain raag's at certain times. But is there anywhere is Bani or the rehat maryada saying we can't listen to Asa Di Vaar?
When will our people learn to respect Satgurus hukkam and Satgurus black and white rules?

There are no rules! Vaheguru has gave us a path and there are certain things we have to stick to to follow that path and they are NOT rules.

Well then please do explain the difference between hukkam and rules? Is it not Satgurus hukkam to follow Satguru Granth Sahib? Then if so why do we disobey his hukkam by not doing things in accordance to his will, which hqas been written in black and white. Please dont try and airy fairyfy things. There is no if no but, only Satgurus law and hukkam which is to follow Satguru |Granth Sahib the way satguru jis swaroop is, and that is to recite the Vaar of Raag Asa in raag asa, otherwise its pretty pointless. Its like me writing a song and its music and then others playing different music to the song i wrote.

Follow the Hukkam of satguru not ur own manmat!

  9. people are talking about not singing Asa di vaar at the right time but no one talks about singing asa di vaar in the correct manner. If a sikh sings Asa di vaar at the wrong time he/she will get the wrong effects, but in all essence if one doesnt sing the Vaar of Asa in raag asa, he/she is really sitting in the wrong boat and going in the wrong direction.

There is no such style as Asa di vaar akj style, taksali style ONLY ASA DI VAAR, RAAG ASA STYLE.

When will our people learn to respect Satgurus hukkam and Satgurus black and white rules?
