  1. Sat Sri Akal:

Japmans Sahib Ji, a kathakari said this a long time ago and it has plenty of relevance for today and tommorrow. Deradhari Babas, fake sants and propagandists will say 99.9% truth and deep meanings, but that 0.01% is there to make controversy and bend around Gurbani to their own ends to make themselves look like Brahm Gyanis.

I myself found absolutely nothing wrong with the first couple of posts by this Multani...but you get a little upset when the man goes on to escalate his own leader higher than th Guru Sahiban, puts down the Panj Pyare and insults Gurbani and calls it Koor Parchar.

These guys are like a venus fly trap. With scents of nectar they attract you into their fold. You go in and suddenly you find yourself being eaten alive by these leeches. Don't let your love for Gurbani's intoxication close your eyes to the devious material in these types of essays.

If you do not believe me, PM me and I will give you a copy of my discussions with this fellow. You can read for yourself and see the various similarities.

Forgive this fool for any mistakes.

i fully agree.. once there's direct links and direct words saying that a so called puran brahm giyanni is higher than Guru Sahib himself, then something's wrong..

but for example, in this post, he doesn't distinguish who or what a puran brahm gy

    anni is.

This post doesn't say anything about the panj being bad...

i totally understand what you mean.. i've read many discussions between peopole and multani.. it's not exactly the friendliest of interactions.. and i don't blame the people who got angry..

nevertheless, i think this is very very useful information for anyone, really.. i honestly think it's okay to pick and choose alot of stuff. i think it's almost ignorace and blindness to only follow one person's or one policy's views, when it comes to literature. for example, i think it's okay to agree with some of Bhai Vir Singh's writings, and not agree with some others of his work. i could be totally way off base with that, but i think that whatever can help you be more pure, that it should be "allowed", in a sense..

i for one, am printing that and puttin it on my bulletin board.

  2. Thanks bro,

I found the following line a bit strange when I read it:

It means that Simran becomes a round the clock thing inside you, Simran doesn't stop at any moment, it carries on and such a condition comes with Gurkirpa and after a lot of Bhagti Kamai or can also be attained with the Kirpa of a Puran Braham Gyani.

    Fateh!

Despite some claims, i think this can still be an appropriate statement if we all agree that Guru Sahib is Brahm Gyaan, Puran Brahm Gyaani, Nirankaar all inone... therefore, if we do get the Kirpa of GuruJee, then what's stopping us.. I understand that if Multani wrote this, then you gotta watch out, but sometimes i feel that even with Kala Afghana's stuff, if you read it and like... assign your own faith and meaning to it, it still does have tendencies to be powerful reading material.. so long as you can distinguish your own right and wrong from it... Of course Kala Afghana has tooooooooo much stuff which is purely anti-sikhi... but just to refer to this post alone, and NOT narinder's acts.... this post is extremely powerful... it does make sense, as long as you don't get involved with the "References" to human guruship, and associate Puran Brahm Giyaani and other such terms with Guru Sahib..

    my personal opinion

  3. yah but think like dis

that a gay person by hookin up with a member of the same sex is gonna have ntn 2 do with gritsthi, where is the familly commin from? i'm more then sure a male can't manufacture babies on their own, esp 2 homoz

but atleast thinking ur hetro u have the gristhi part in spec

so its alll about double standards, is what yo'ure saying....

one lust is bad, but the other lust is good?

regardles of what alotta people say, there's lust in a hella lot of man-woman marriages too.... so now what do we do? shall we all live in celibacy? or is man/woman lust a GOOD thing just because it reproduces? and what about the child conceieved out of lust, rather than out of love, then what..

so the question for you, GKD, is:

Is one Lust better than the Other just because you can accept it easier?

  4. moorakh.... you're so ridiculously out of line it's inredible.. forgive me, but you're making fun of a target group of people over a weakness... THEN you generalize them all... why don't you just open your heart and be aware of the singaporeans on this board who actually have national pride.... it's not a crime to be proud of the country you live in

  5. kulpreetsingh veerji....

wow.... i can't even think of anything else to say.... amazing examples... i especially likes the one referring to taksalis, who consider moolmantar to nanak hosi bhee sach... it's true...

the biggest point is that the more we argue about these petty issues among ourselves, the more we become more like the lalleshvaris out there... fools with limited knowledge, trying to come off as pure pakka scholars... and wow, i'm definitely guilty of that... i'm not perfect, and i'm pretty sure i haven't attacked anyone on this site.. i know i've defended quite a few topics, but if i have attacked, i take this opporunity to apologize...

and again......wow.... i hope more people read this thread, cuz kulpreetsingh veerji has made too many points that make tooo much sense.... it's time we all get off our butts and listen to the truth he said... let's stop trying to be scholars, and let's just try to be the best Sikh we can......it's not that hard when you put it in perspective...

    fateh!

  6. another possible response for my thread was that if someone asks

"so what do you think we should do? just sit back and let people talk <admin-profanity filter activated>?"

and honestly, i can't even see any way how anyone should actually make that conclusion from my post... everyone's so quick to say lines full of giaan, but yet so quick to join in a discussion consisting tons of insulting comments back and forth. what i'm saying is that we don't hafta beat these guys with insults.. refute! not insult! do you actually think that Guru Gobind Singh Ji ever called Auraungzeb a big fat ape, after auraungzeb made a comment? do you think He called auraungzeb an ugly piece of trash?

none of us can BE Guru Gobind Singh Ji, but we should at least try to follow his mould.

  7. lemme give my personal opinion, which i know will be ignored by many on this board:

firstly, i hafta state that i am in no way associated with lalleshvari or narsingha, but i did used to keep track of sikhawareness site, and go there quite often.

    but to the main point:

making fun of someone's appearance is just like making fun of someone who is mentally challenged.

nothing can be done about it... actually, correction, an "ugly" person can get cosmetic surgery, but then that person will get roasted for being "sikh" and getting this surgery done.. the point that i think mr.singh is trying to make is simply that dude has no control over what looks he was given. Akal Purakh gave those to him for whatever reason. End of discussion on that issue.. what Akal Purakh doesn't need to be questioned, and it doesn't even need to be discussed.

i agree with talking about his actions, his words, and all that, but c'mon people.... he's had no decision in his looks. He was given them without his consent. its not anything he can control. He can control his mouth and what comes outta it, so fine, question and refute his arguments.. personal slandering is stupid though.. it just shows immaturity and stupidity on the part of the person who says it. i'm not saying i don't, but i'm saying that's something we, as youth, hafta work on... We're not gonna be youth forever, we should at least begin now to mould our actions so that our future youth can have a proper example to follow, not just "i don't believe your view, so you're ugly and you have crooked teeth!"

the worst part is that for some odd reason, i stlil have this bad feeling that

i am NOW going to be questioned on wheteher i'm a Nang or not... so before that question can even come up, i'm gonna say i'm not, at least not in the way we're discussing...after all, very few of us aren't nang, not in this material world.. but i'm not the kind of nang we're associating this thread with..

All i'm saying is just control the slander and meanness... it truly isn't gursikh character... theres no excue to stoop down to that level...

  8. Sat Sri Akal:

Millions of Sikhs have meditated on these Banis...millions of people have attained higher spirits by meditating the Mool Mantar starting with Ik Onkaar...

Who are these people who think they know better?

Sad really...so much potential destroyed by pitiful ego... :):(:@

i think that's half the point that n30 veer tried to make, though.. as in, if they can reach their full potential through their view and perspective, does that all of a sudden make you the egoist? what i mean is that even if 65 billion people reached it one way, that doesn't mean that 2 billion can't reach it another.. it doesn't make it wrong..... yeah it goes fulllllllly against what we've been brought up with, but assuming that those are the teachings they've recieved, and they feel more spiritually inclined in that respect, that doesn't make them wrong.....i think that's the point n30 tried to make, at

least that's what i got out of it..and i pretty much agree.

  9. i'd like to be any singh who has the seva of bringing Guru Sahib wherever Guru Sahib must be taken..for example, in battle, Guru Sahib was brought to the Sikh bases and tents, correct? i would love that seva...and that's who i would play... i wouldn't wanna play a leading role...it's not my type of person.. i don't think i could play the role of a shaheed.. i suck to much haha...

  10. yeah, i think it actually is illegal unless otherwise legislated or unless otherwise stated that it is not... if it isn't, it's that much of an excuse for you to get up and make the Khalsa proud, and make it happen, and Get it Legislated... you could have a protest....your chant could be:

"I MEAN NO HARM, SO LEMME WEAR MY KIRPAN!"

"A KIRPAN IS NOT A KNIFE, BUT IT CAN SAVE YOUR LIFE!(if trained properly and person knows how to use it"

"I Love my Kirpaan, so let me keep it on!"

i would show up at this protest if you used those slogans...i'm quite proud of them..

  11. s1ngh ji, this isn't about freedom of speech...this is seriously a crime... think about the reaction everyone has had to the person... everyone says "oh she's lying oh she's lying"......and sadly, some people have this stupid tendency to go after people that they think are bad... i'm not leaning either way here, but this isn't just about freedom of speech... they're trying to protect her.... that's not a bad thing....

  12. i think you should read the "Dharam Yudh" topic in the general section..it may help sort out some of your thoughts about indira gandhi...

i'm not saying she's an angel... but hating her now has absolutely no use to you, unless for some reason it satisfies you...... which is kinda scary...

btw , i like how after your schpiel about "why should i respect...", and the next post was "and sympathy to his family..".... classy, bud..

seriously, hating indira now shouldn't do anything for you.....she's gone.... and don't ask me "should we parade her actions?!?!" cuz obviously i don't mean that... i just see absolutely no benefit in hating her after she's already gone.... we already took care of her.. she's repenting her sins in her next lives....let her be...

as for this specific case, you SHOULD respect everyone that's dead... they can't do any more to you, so you might as well move on..... forgive, don't forget, you know?

  13. i'm not trying to nitpick... but "OUR" forum??... as in.. a jatha forum, or for sikhs?? and are you trying to imply that n30 Singh's not sikh?? wow...judgement is right up there among the worst of sins.... i honestly promise to god i didn't expect SOGGS to say something like that... you're always so good with your posts......

  14. c'mon man...no matter what you think of him, at least have respect for the dead... geez..that's really despicable.. "who cares if he was a good singer"... it sounds so disrespectful to the man...whetehr he have been good or not.... the guy's passed away......
