I have heard that the most exalted Path of all is the Sangat, the Guru's Congregation. Joining it, the fear of death is taken away.

  2. nononononoono you got it all wrong.. this is HINDI MOVIE! THERE CAN'T BE ANYTHING CLOSE TO REALITY!!

It will be overnight when all the action is going on.. as they are about to hit the iceberg, the sun will come up,, and the iceberg will melt away... chiti chitti.... just like that! and they will continue to sail on... i'm not good with songs, but that would be a perfect time to throw in a nsong

if it bothers you, and it changes how you feel about yourself, either don't let it, or go ahead and change it, so that you're comfortable and so that it doesn't bother you. that's most important in the end, if you can be comfortable with every aspect of your life.

everyone, i think Jessica bhanji is lookin for a seriously natural reply to these... not the sikhi aspect, but as the materialistic people that most of us still are.. don't hold back and give your answer, i know how annoying it cna be when people don't answer you straight with their own view.

  5. i know no one is gonna see this from my view...

in different circumstances... sometimes a kneed to do a little jumpin around to the beat of some music jus to calm down...as stress relief...

and other times, i feel like banging the $h!& outta the tabla hehe

and other times, foolin around on the vajja does the job best

for me, it's just like...it depends....usually i'm doin keertan or playin tabla to an Amolak Singh track..... but once in a while, i start jumpin around hahaha

  7. and hahahaha the part where leo paints the nude scene, would instead have madhuri in american western clothing... and he'd draw her in that clothing...

and instead of not knowing each other, they'd love each other at the beginning, but would have to hate each other not too much longer after the movie starts.. but his love for her will be so overpowering that he'll save her in the end... and she'll repay him by choosing to marry him.. the logical choice of course....

  8. i was having a conversation with my dad today about it.. i'm neither pro nor con...

    different issues arise:

    1) water... where would we get our water from? we would have no access to the Indian Ocean and all the 5 rivers of Punjab are so badly polluted, that can't even be an option. water treatment plants would be sooooooooooooooooo expensive to deal with that kind of polluted water.

    2) Electrical Infrastructure... we'd almost have to start from scratch for electrical power.

    3) geography... we'd have enemies on each and every side of us, especially if khalistan is created by violent means. Sure, we're Khalsa, and we're warriors and everything.. but step back for a second and look at this logically.. Where would we get the cash to build and sustain a powerful army to go up against the likes of Pakistan who more often than not would be enemies, and India, which would be more often than not, also be enemies.

    4) Production... Not everything required can be produced in our Khalistan. As fruitful as Punjab is, there isn't the potential to produce everything. This means importation and exportation.. and you know what that means.. going the cheapest route... our neighbours, pakistan and india.

    5) what to do with the 45% of hindus in the province?? kick them out? hence, steal their land, their assets, essentially.. similar to what happened in 1947... this means the same thing happens to sikhs all over india whom are not in punjab. it'd be a civil war. and what if you DO keep them in Khalistan? then what would you have achieved? it'd remain status quo, the only thing being you'd have severed any friendship that minutely exi

    sts with India right now.

    6) capital city .... chandigarh? status quo.. jallandhur.. biggest city.. trashy atmosphere.. drugs drunking.. AMRITSAR! wouldn't that be beautiful? our capital city in Amritsar!?! Logically, it could never happen. It's right on the border of Pakistan and India.. wayyyyy too dangerous..

I'm sorry if i sound negative about it, but these are serious things we have to look at. It appears to me that ever since 1947, it's been an issue of pride. It's been a fight of the 5-year olds. our stance is

"They (muslims) got it! we want it toooo!!!"

    India's stance:

"We don't like you. We're not giving you what you want"

and really, these are only the simple questions. water.. base of life.. how willl that work? electricity.. these things are necessities, not small extra options and luxuries... especially for a state like punjab that relies on agrticulture and farming to bolster it's economy

your views and answers would be greatly apprecieated.!!
