Its the other way round.Sikhs did nothing for Rajputs, if it wasn't for us then you would be a Mussalman.
Your name is written सिंह which is phonetically pronounced as Sinh. The Sikh name is ਸਿੰਘ which in Hindi would be सिंघ, thats clearly different from सिंह. So much for popularizing. The name Singh was popularised by us.
The hill Rajas were also Rajputs who shook hands with the Mughals when they fought against Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj. You are only trying to wash away that sin and treachery.Don't ever request the bravery of the Rajput beta ji. Majority of martyrs from the Indian army are from Rajasthan and Haryana. Look it up. These are Rajput and Hindu Jat land and we were never victims.

I challenge you once again, if you are a real man, then go and tell your Birmingham Sikh buddies just once, all that you've been saying on this forum.

Someday I hope to see Dr. Sukhpreet Singh Udhoke and Zakir Naik in a face to face debate. I can already predict the outcome.

Sorry jeeo, I strongly disagree. No power in this entire creation can harm/damage Sikhi. Its true that a big multitude of Sikh leaders in recent times have let the qaum down on several instances, but so what? Every single one of us has to do his/her part. If you can't, the least you can do is to keep that fire burning inside you so that tomorrow your kids might do something. Pass this fire on from generation to generation, and with Guru Sahib's kirpa a day will come when "aaqi rahe na koi", and then automatically "khuaar hue sab milenge", and ofcourse ultimately "Raj Karega Khalsa".These Hindus were right. They said that they will eliminate Sikhi, the way they eliminated Buddhism. It is shame that they have become very successful in their intentions.
Singho have faith in Guru Sahib! He made His Panth strong enough to face ANYTHING. We just need to realize it and be aware of it.

You are fake menSikhs are fake Singhs
No, what belongs to you is being distant relatives of Mughals.the name Singh belongs to us Rajputs.
Go ahead and try to stop us, open challenge.Stop referring to yourself as "Singh".
Say that to a Sikh on his face if you are the son of your father, and if you have one father. Another open challenge.A name which your Guru stole from us.
No, you should be thankful to Sikhs as we are thankful only to Vaheguru.Sikhs should be in eternal gratitude to us Rajputs
Then what went wrong when Afghans, Pathaans and Mughals knocked on your doorstep? Why offer them your women?we defeated the Umayyad Caliphate. If we had lost then all of India would have been a Muslim nation.
Here is a deal, go and tell them all you have typed here. You do have medical insurance right? The Sikhs I know in Birmingham are such nice people
We just got our first non-Khalistani internet sher, you!it seems the Khalistani "internet shers" only appear on this forum.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singh
Etymology[edit]
The word "Singh" is derived to Sanskrit सिंह Simha/Sinha meaning lion. Several variants of the word are found in other languages:
In Bengali, the name is written and pronounced as সিংহ (Shing-ho).
In Hindi (Devanagari script), the name is written सिंह ("siṅh", IPA: [sɪŋɦə]) always pronounced सिंघ ("singh", IPA: [sɪŋɡʱə]). Sanskrit words include Simha/ Sinha.[6][7]
In Marathi, the name is written and pronounced as सिंह (Sinha).
In Punjabi (Gurmukhi script), the name is written as ਸਿੰਘ and pronounced as Singh.
In Gujarati, it is spelled as સિંહ (Sinh). Another variant is Sinhji, the form of Singh used in Gujarat, where the 'g' is dropped and the suffix of respect 'ji' is added.
In Telugu, the word for lion is simham (సింహం).
In Malayalam, simham (സിംഹം) means lion in English.
In Manipuri, the name is written and pronounced as Sinha or Singha.
In Tamil, the word for lion is Singham, Sinham, Singhan, Sing or Singhe written as சிங்க, also derived from Sanskrit (see Singapore)
In Sinhalese, the name is written as සිංහ and pronounced as Sinha.
The term Sinhalese referring to peoples of Sri Lanka, meaning "Lion Blooded" (Sinha = lion, le = blood). The Sinhalese people are said to be descended from Prince Vijaya (a king who is fabled to have descended from a lion)
In Burmese, it is spelled သီဟ (thiha), derived from the Pali variant siha.
Chinese is said to have also derived the word for lion from Buddhist missionaries from India.
In Thailand, Singha, written as Thai: สิงห์ with final syllable marked as silent, refers to a mythical lion; the zodiac sign of Leo; a popular brand of beer, Singha; and is frequently used as a place name (for instance, Ban Singh Tha). Singhakhom Thai: สิงหาคม, in which the /ha/ is pronounced, is the Thai solar calendar month of August. Sing Toe Thai: สิงโต, which omits /ha/ entirely and adds Thai for big or grown up, refers to the lion. All except "Toe" are of Sanskrit origin
A common surname of Bihar, "Sinha" having same use and root.
In Indonesia and Malaysia, Singa or Singha, means Lion
Singapore is derived from the Malay word Singapura (Sanskrit: सिंहपुर, lit. Lion City).
Therefore, Sikhs are the real Singhs, you and your lot are Sinh.

1984 anti-Sikh riots: Centre announces Rs 5L compensation to kin of 3325 victims
Zee Media Bureau/Ritesh K Srivastava
New Delhi: In a significant move, the Narendra Modi government on Thursday announced compensation of Rs 5 lakh each to be given to the kin of 3325 people killed during anti-Sikh riots in the national capital in 1984.
The order was passed by Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who took the decision after a high-level meeting where the issue of compensation to civilian victims of communal, terrorist or Naxal violence was discussed threadbare, a Home Ministry official said.
Government also enhanced the compensation to civilian victims of communal, terrorist or Naxal violence from Rs three lakh to Rs five lakh.
Till now the next of kin of persons killed or civilians who suffered permanent incapacitation as a result of such violence were paid Rs 3 lakh as per provisions of the Central Scheme for Assistance to Civilian Victims of Terrorist, Communal, Naxal violence since 2008.
Assistance would be given to the surviving spouse in case of death or permanent incapacitation of the husband or the wife, as the case may be.
However, if both the husband and the wife died in same incident of violence, the family would be entitled to get the assistance, in each case, the official said.
Families of the victims would be eligible to get assistance under the scheme even if they have received any other assistance, by way of payment of ex-gratia or any other type of relief from the government or any other source except when a similar scheme is already being implemented by the Central government.
Government had disbursed Rs 6.12 crore as compensation to civilian victims in 204 incidents of terrorist, communal and naxal violence in 2011-12 and Rs 3.99 crore to civilian victims in 133 such incidents in 2012-13.
No reimbursement could be made to any civilian victims in incidents of terrorist, communal and Naxal violence during 2013-14 and 2014-15 (till July) as the state governments did not send the proposals.
Nearly 3325 people were killed in the communal riots triggered by the assassination of former prime minister Indira Gandhi in 1984 by her body guards.

haiiiiinnnnnnnn ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!It is sad to see people born in sikh family not following the anmol niyara path to reach waheguru. However that should not deter us in anyway to follow our personal religious journey.
We should stay positive and worry less about what others do. Rab sareya ch hai and we should treat everyone with respect regardless of who they are and how wrong they are.
