  1. MARRIAGE BREAKDOWN - LACK OF SIKH PRINCIPLES

-by Simran Singh & Satvinder Singh 'Jagowale'

Firstly I would like to say Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh to the Sikh sangat. My name is Simran Singh and my father's name is Satvinder Singh of the Jagowala Jatha.

I was made aware of a false story on a blogspot by a blogger under the name 'neonang' at http://sikhissues.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/jago-wale-ruined-my-life.html . The blogger clearly states that he/she has heard from both sides but this is not the case. If they had heard from myself or my parents then this story would have been different. The blog owner has not contacted myself or my family at all. This is all a fabricated lie!!

The Jagowala Jatha has been serving the Sikh religion and Khalsa Panth through parchar for over 30 years. The sarkar and sansar have tried to stop this parchar and now a parivaar have tried to do the same. My wife 'Maninder Kaur' has spread this false story over the internet and it isn't my habit to bark like a dog but I will tell the truth as and when I need to. I have seen criminals and wrong doers use this route to defame a person(s) to clear their own name of any blame. Many people have told us that they are commenting on this BlogSpot thread and the comments have been rejected and are not being uploaded online. Due to this I am having to answer the comments in bullet point form which have been falsely raised by Maninder.

    • Maninder's faith in Sikhi

Maninder has said that she has lost her trust in amritdhari Sikhs and that her faith has been damaged. I personally found items in Maninder's possession which were being used secretly to kill Sikhi rehat. The lack of respect for kakkar's and not wearing the kakaar's on her behalf were made apparent to Maninder by myself on countless occasions. Is this right for an amritdhari girl to take off the kakkar's as and when she wants to? Is it right to use razors and do 'roma di beadbi'? Was Maninder's trust in amritdhari Sikhs not lost when her own amritdhari brother can be seen on a photo hugging and kissing a gori whilst on holiday last September in Marmaris, Turkey?

For legal reasons this image has been blurred but if anyone wants proof then feel free to responsibly contact me.

My in-law family had no basic principles in Sikhi, especially Maninder as she said the basic rules are not needed. i.e. kakaar's because Sikhi is on the inside. Also speaking badly of true Sant Mahapurkhs and slandering Gurbani at each chance they get just because it doesn't suit them. As a true Gursikh individual I cannot live my life this way. For example, when a thief commits a crime and serves his sentence, he/she still claims to be innocent but the judge knows the truth. I would like to ask, has Maninder even once commented on the wrongdoings she has done?

The real problems started when I began to discover the true extent of Maninder's faith in Sikhi. She as an amritdhari only recited Sri JapJi Sahib in the morning, Rehraas Sahib in the evening, has no bother and respect for the wearing of our sacred kakaar's, doesn't cover her head as a must, does 'roma di beadbi' which I discover her razors amongst other tools to carry out this paap, working 12-16 hours a week in which teaching is only approx 4 hours a day but leaving home around 7.30am and returning at roughly 6pm. When I asked her about these unjustifiable timings I wasn't given a satisfying answer. Hench taking all this into consideration was when problems had arisen.

Maninder says her faith has been damaged but I ask when was it ever truly with God? Guru Sahib Ji states "rehat piari mujj ko sikh piara nahe" meaning that Maharaj is happy with his Sikhs rehat not the Sikh. But my wife wanted it the opposite way round where I would be happy with just her and not point out the beadbi in her rehat amongst other things. I would like to say that I respect all those sisters and mothers who under Maharajs hukam have facial hair and are still committed to a Gursikhi jeevan and follow Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharajs rehat and hukam. Sadly to say it is purely bad luck on my behalf that my wife was doing 'roma di beadbi' even though it wasn't needed.

Honestly speaking, I dont see any Sikhi in you either.

Seems like you are still a pampered child of your parents with a pendu mentality. This thread proves you are confrontational in nature.(must have been in your mariage also)

Neither do you have any WISDOM/Bibek Budh

Neither did you make any effort to save your marriage.

If you allege all that you have said abt your own wife is true. It is still your fault for not finding out whether both of you keep same level of rehit or not.

The sickening part is how casually you degraded a women who left her parent home to spend her life with you.

  2. Cows and cattle being treated in the manner discuessed in this thread is due to INDUSTRIALIZATION of the Milk Industry that has no regard or respect for the animal.
Puratan Sikhs from Guru Sahib's time didnt treat their animals in this way.

Kheer(milk) based pudding is also mentioned being served in Guru Ka Langgar in Raamkali Ki Vaar.

People here should avoid INFUSING PETA agenda into Sikhi.
Milk is allowed in Sikhi. Period.

Of-course there is no harm in working toward getting it from sources that produce it MORE ETHICALLY.

  3. NO ONE IN THE WORLD IS REPORTING THIS.

ISIS IS OFFICIALLY SELLING CAPTURED WOMEN AS SLAVES. IN ISLAM IT IS ALSO PERMISSIBLE FOR A MUSLIM MAN TO INDULGE IN SEXUAL INTERCOURSE WITH A SLAVE WOMEN WITHOUT HAVING MARRIED HER. No limit on slave women either. A scum fighting for ISIS proudly proclaims:

Evidence is way to disturbing to post it here!

Justification in Islam on Slave women, read here :
    http://islamqa.info/en/10382

ISIS follow puritanical Islam as how it was done and followed in the time of Muhammad.

    And the world sleeps on.........

ISIS captive's mother: 'He's an innocent journalist'

    STORY HIGHLIGHTS
    • Shirley Sotloff pleads directly to the leader of ISIS
    • "Please release my child," she says
    • Steven Sotloff disappeared while reporting in Syria last year

(CNN) -- A mother's plea to the terrorists holding her son hostage: No individual should be punished for events he cannot control.

The mother is Shirley Sotloff, and she speaks directly to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in a video broadcast Wednesday on Al Arabiya Network.

Her son, freelance journalist Steven Sotloff, appeared last week in an ISIS video showing the decapitation of American journalist James Foley.

The militant in the video warns that Steven Sotloff's fate depends on what President Barack Obama does next in Iraq.

Shirley Sotloff made a plea for her son's life to the leader of ISIS

A day after the video was posted, Obama vowed that the United States would be "relentless" in striking back against ISIS.

"Steven is a journalist who traveled to the Middle East to cover the suffering of Muslims at the hands of tyrants. Steven is a loyal and generous son, brother and grandson," Shirley Sotloff said in the rare public appeal. "He is an honorable man and has always tried to help the weak."

The journalist has no control over what the United States government does, and he should not be held responsible for its actions, she says.

"He's an innocent journalist," she said.

Friends of ISIS captive Sotloff speak out admiringly of his talent, passion

The mother appeals to al-Baghdadi's self-declared title of caliph of the Islamic State.

As caliph, he has the power to grant amnesty to Steven Sotloff, the mother said.

"I ask you to please release my child," she said.

Steven Sotloff disappeared while reporting from Syria in August 2013, but his family kept the news secret, fearing harm to him if they went public.

Out of public view, the family and a number of government agencies have been trying to gain Sotloff's release for the past year.

Sotloff, 31, grew up in South Florida with his mother, father and younger sister. He majored in journalism at the University of Central Florida. His personal Facebook page lists musicians like the Dave Matthews Band, Phish, Miles Davis and movies like "Lawrence of Arabia" and "The Big Lebowski" as favorites. On his Twitter page, he playfully identifies himself as a "stand-up philosopher from Miami."

In 2004, Sotloff left UCF and moved back to the Miami area.

He graduated from another college, began taking Arabic classes and subsequently picked up freelance writing work for a number of publications, including Time, Foreign Policy, World Affairs and the Christian Science Monitor. His travels took him to Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey -- among other countries -- and eventually Syria.

The following is the full text of Shirley Sotloff's video statement:

I'm sending this message to you, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi ... the caliph of the Islamic State.

I am Shirley Sotloff. My son, Steven, is in your hands. Steven is a journalist who traveled to the Middle East to cover the suffering of Muslims at the hands of tyrants.

Steven is a loyal and generous son, brother and grandson. He's an honorable man and has always tried to help the weak.

We've not seen Stephen for over a year, and we miss him very much. We want to see him home safe and sound and to hug him.

Since Stephen's capture, I've learned a lot about Islam. I've learned that Islam teaches that no individual should be held responsible for the sins of others.

Stephen has no control over the actions of the U.S. government. He's an innocent journalist.

I've always learned that you, the caliph, can grant amnesty. I ask you to please release my child. As a mother, I ask your justice to be merciful and not punish my son for matters he has no control over.

I ask you to use your authority to spare his life and to set the example of the Prophet Mohammed, who protected people of the Book.

I want what every mother wants: to live to see her children's children.

I plead with you to grant me this.

Opinion: Foley is a reminder why freelance reporting is so dangerous

  5. Can you show me(with a link) where it is against the law to expose and condem ISIS like we here are doing here?

It's not against the law to discuss a matter. We are not supporting them, everyone here has condemned these terrorists and we pray for the safety of their victims.

No Such law, only distributing Foley execution video is a crime.

  6. A message from Jim's mom, Diane Foley:

We have never been prouder of our son Jim.
He gave his life trying to expose the world to the suffering of the Syrian people.

We implore the kidnappers to spare the lives of the remaining hostages. Like Jim, they are innocents. They have no control over American government policy in Iraq, Syria or anywhere in the world.

We thank Jim for all the joy he gave us. He was an extraordinary son, brother, journalist and person. Please respect our privacy in the days ahead as we mourn and cherish Jim.

    STORY HIGHLIGHTS
    • "He gave his life" to expose the suffering of the Syrian people, Foley's mother says
    • CPJ estimates 20 journalists are missing in Syria
    • The video also appears to show missing journalist Steven Sotloff
    • James Foley was last seen in Syria on November 22, 2012

(CNN) -- A video released by ISIS shows the beheading of U.S. journalist James Foley and threatens the life of another American if President Barack Obama doesn't end military operations in Iraq.

In the video posted Tuesday on YouTube, Foley is seen kneeling next to a man dressed in black. Foley reads a message, presumably scripted by his captors, that his "real killer'' is America.

"I wish I had more time. I wish I could have the hope for freedom to see my family once again," he can be heard saying in the video.

He is then shown being beheaded.

"We have seen a video that purports to be the murder of U.S. citizen James Foley by (ISIS)," National Security Council spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden said. "The intelligence community is working as quickly as possible to determine its authenticity. If genuine, we are appalled by the brutal murder of an innocent American journalist and we express our deepest condolences to his family and friends. We will provide more information when it is available."

Obama was briefed about the video, and "he will continue to receive regular updates," White House spokesman Eric Schultz said.

ISIS has carried out executions, including beheadings, as part of its effort to establish an Islamic caliphate that stretches from Syria into Iraq. In many cases, ISIS -- which refers to itself as the Islamic State -- has videotaped the executions and posted them online.

CNN is not airing the video.

    What to know about ISIS

    'They are innocents'

Foley disappeared on November 22, 2012, in northwest Syria, near the border with Turkey. He was reportedly forced into a vehicle by gunmen; he was not heard from again. At the time of his disappearance, he was working for the U.S.-based online news outlet GlobalPost.

On Tuesday, Foley's mother, Diane, took to social media with an emotional statement to praise and mourn her son.

"We have never been prouder of our son Jim. He gave his life trying to expose the world to the suffering of the Syrian people," she said in a post on the Free James Foley Facebook page.

"We implore the kidnappers to spare the lives of the remaining hostages. Like Jim, they are innocents. They have no control over American government policy in Iraq, Syria or anywhere in the world.

"We thank Jim for all the joy he gave us. He was an extraordinary son, brother, journalist and person. Please respect our privacy in the days ahead as we mourn and cherish Jim.''

    Another American in video

The video of his killing also shows another U.S. journalist. The militant in the video, who speaks English with what sounds like a British accent, says the other American's life hangs in the balance, depending on what Obama does next.

U.S. Official: ISIS 'credible alternative to al Qaeda'

    130102112937-james-foley-syria-horizontaPhotos: Americans detained abroad

The journalist is believed to be Steven Sotloff, who was kidnapped at the Syria-Turkey border in 2013. Sotloff is a contributor to Time and Foreign Policy magazines.

The Committee to Protect Journalists estimates there are about 20 journalists missing in Syria, many of them held by ISIS.

Among them is American Austin Tice, a freelance journalist who was contributing articles to The Washington Post. Tice disappeared in Syria in August 2012. There has been no word of from him since his abduction.

    'We ask for your prayers'

As a freelancer, Foley picked up work for a number of major media outlets, including Agence France-Presse and GlobalPost.

"On behalf of John and Diane Foley, and also GlobalPost, we deeply appreciate all of the messages of sympathy and support that have poured in since the news of Jim's possible execution first broke," Philip Balboni, GlobalPost CEO and co-founder, said in a published statement, referring to James Foley's parents.

"We have been informed that the FBI is in the process of evaluating the video posted by the Islamic State to determine if it is authentic. Until we have that determination, we will not be in a position to make any further statement. We ask for your prayers for Jim and his family."

Foley had previously been taken captive in Libya. He was detained there in April 2011 along with three other reporters and released six weeks later.

Afterward, he said that what saddened him most was knowing that he was causing his family to worry.

    Who is the ISIS?

    Fair, curious and popular

Foley grew up in New Hampshire and graduated from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism in 2008.

Like some other young journalists working after the September 11 terror attacks, Foley was drawn to Iraq, Afghanistan and other areas of conflict.

Friends described Foley as fair, curious and impressively even-tempered.

"Everybody, everywhere, takes a liking to Jim as soon as they meet him," journalist Clare Morgana Gillis wrote in a blog post about him in May 2013, six months after he disappeared in Syria.

"Men like him for his good humor and tendency to address everyone as 'bro' or 'homie' or 'dude' after the first handshake. Women like him for his broad smile, broad shoulders, and because, well, women just like him."

    'Our hearts are broken'

People in Foley's hometown of Rochester, New Hampshire, expressed shock and sadness at the news.

"This is a tragedy which is beyond imagining. There are no words to describe this kind of inhumanity," the Rev. Paul Gousse of the Holy Rosary Church told CNN affiliate WMUR.

"You just feel sad," Sully Harte, a neighbor, told the local broadcaster. "You just hope the family can grieve and deal with it because it's one of those things that you can't control at all."

Sen. Kelly Ayotte, Republican of New Hampshire, said in a statement that "our hearts are broken for the Foley family."

"James was an innocent civilian who was bravely performing his job as a journalist," Ayotte said. "This barbaric and heinous act shocks the conscience and highlights the truly evil nature of the terrorists we confront, who must be defeated."

    Will anyone stop ISIS?

    Previous brutal killings of Americans

The video of Foley was released as ISIS is being targeted by American airstrikes ordered by Obama.

"I think they may have been surprised and are doing the best they can to retaliate," former CIA director R. James Woolsey, Jr. told CNN.

Foley's killing recalled the murder of Daniel Pearl, The Wall Street Journal correspondent who was kidnapped while reporting in Pakistan in January 2002. His killing was captured on video and posted on line by al Qaeda.

It also harkened to the videotaped beheadings of Americans Nicholas Berg, Eugene Armstrong and Jack Hensley carried out by al Qaeda during the height of the Iraq War.

CNN's Mohammed Tawfeeq, Kevin Liptak, Mayra Cuevas, Brian Stelter, Jethro Mullen, Elise Labott and Leslie Bentz contributed to this report.

  8. Guruvah not Islam but who interpret it wrongly. Don't blame the whole religion. I know there are some verses but lets not bring only those upfront to condemn everyone following it.

Remember who laid the first stone for Sri harmander sahib ji? How much bani so we have of Muslim Bhagats?

For god sake stop watching these videos. We don't want you converted. Joking !

These men are from the Al She'etat tribe(in Syria) rebelled againts Isis rule, see for yourself how ISIS dealt with them:

    http://justpaste.it/alkher18f

(they advertise their genocide & everyone in the world knows about it)

It about time we take POLITICAL CORRECTNESS about "peaceful Muslims" and throw it where it belongs----->The Garbage!

Because the "Peaceful Muslims" have done nothing to make the world a better place to live in.....

Admin, let the link remain.... a genocide is a genocide.

  9. Guruvah, only Isis can answer that. But you don't need to go to Iraq because USA decided on air strikes.

Isis will be history soon. I can already see them running and some can't because they are over weight and here comes the bmb.

The air strikes are a good news BUT only aimed for Iraq...not Syria or even Ar-Raqqa(Syria) where their Islamic state "capital" is.

Apparently VICE new has gained exclusive excess to them...(video made somewhere in June)
