  1. Sep. 18th, 2004 Oregon vs. (# 2) Oklahoma Owen Field Stadium - Norman, Oklahoma Nuvraj Singh Bassi, Oregon DL # 98, made his NCAA debut in front of 83,000 fans in Oklahoma, when the Ducks faced off against the #2 ranked Sooners. Nuvraj entered the game mid-way through the first quarter and he capitalized on the opportunity, hauling in an impressive 3 tackles in just the first few plays of his career. The Oklahoma Sooners are known to be a consistent top-10 powerhouse in the NCAA, and this was an opportunity for Nuvraj to test himself against the strongest offensive line in the nation. According to Nuvraj, he had no problems with their offensive line as even though he was double-teamed most of the time, he helped stuff the running game of Oklahoma's high-powered offense, keeping them scoreless in the first quarter. Despite being given less than 15 downs to play, even the #1 ranked O-Line couldn't stop Nuvraj from bringing in 4 tackles in only a few series, topping it off with a tackle-for-loss in the fourth quarter. The Ducks lost 31-7, but Nuvraj started his career off with a bang in front of a huge audience, and against one of the most famous football programs in the country. The game was nationally televised on ABC Sports.
