  1. fateh.. ..veerjii..please show me one prove from gurbani supporting your statement>>>Anyone who doesn't follow rehit is a tankhaae to even begin with, so there really shouldn't be this question if tankhaaes can do seva of Guru Sahib.<< ..no offence... ...and to clear things out...i never said that You are holy or anything like that..don't get the wrong idea..i have seen people acctually scolding a monai because he was doing chaur seva...these people think that they are much more superior that non gursikhs..i was talking about them...not you mate.. ...and what i meant about not needing to recite gurbani is when you are having a programme in temple and a monai should not be the one giving a katha or like should not go and read the hukumnama for the rest of the sangat... ..and bout the rules of other religion...not of any of my interest..thanks for the info anyway... ..sorry for giving you the wrong idea...and please tell me more on the "rebel gurduara"..i really have no idea on this matter... ...phul chuk maaf.. ..gurfateh...
  2. Fateh... ...vaheguru...vaheguru...vaheguru... ..well said...sensible enough mate!!! ...nice one...well..not everyone has the similar way of thinking like yourself...now i know that there is someone else who thinks like i do... ...chardikala for ever mate... :e: phul chuk maaf... ..Gurfatehz... ...ve muthajah, ve paarvah...nanak das kaho gurvah...
  3. Fateh... ...hunji "son of Guru Gobind Singh ji"...i understad and agree what you're saying...but..not eveyone is blessed with the chance to take amrit..right...maybe it has been written for them to do the seva by the Guru...soo..to my point of view..we (the gursikhs) should only advice and tell them how is the seva done appropriately...and accordingly to the akal thakth... ...we can't just ban them from coming to gurduara just because they want to participate along in the seva...Am i right to say that nobody can stop them from doing the seva??? ..sorry veerji..i might be wrong with everything...but this is my point of view... ...thus...my question is...what will you do if you see a monai doing chaur seva even though you have already told him before the appropraite way of the seva??:T:...will you pull the chaur sahib from his hand and kick his <admin-profanity filter activated> and ban him from coming to gurduara?? :| ..babaji.. i hope not...the most you could do is continue the chaur seva form him..thats allmate.... ...dasoji...what do you think???..am i wrong??? ...Bhul Chuk Maaf... Gurfateh....
  4. Fateh.. ...Exactly mate!!! :e: ...now you wonder why are there so-called "rebel gurduaras" being introduced :T: ...obviously...these people which are refered as monais also want to be able to do seva for the Guru...they also want peace and harmony while being at the temple...how would you feel if you were doing seva and some people who consider themselves much more "holy" or "pure" were to come up and tell you to bug off and that your seva is not excepted by the guru...that sucks man...and yes iagree that we should follow that the hukum of the guru..anywayz...i'm sure while doing this seva they will slowly but eventually under stand the proper way of doing the seva and respecting the guru...it takes time to learn man..you cant just simply STOP them all-together... ...like here in Australia...the "monais" are allowed to do seva like the washing seva and like seva's which does not need them to recite from the gurbani... ...i feel that these "monais" should also be given the chance for improvement into the religion...improvement into becoming a sikh... ...bhul chuk maaf...... Gurfateh... ...ve muthejah, ve paarvah....nanak das kaho gurvah...
  5. Fatehji... ...first of all..you are being too prejudiced towards this matter...if a monai wants to do seva then you are nobody to stop him... ...i'm a gursikh myself and i feel it is ok for a monai to do seva...like you said that the akal thakth says that we can eat non halal meat...doesn't means that we must eat the meat then right??!!...same here...like you said that... <<<<"© Only a Sikh, man or woman, is entitled to be in attendance of the Guru Granth during the congregational session. and the definition of a sikh is Any human being who faithfully believes in (i) One Immortal Being, (ii) Ten Gurus, from Guru Nanak Dev to Guru G obind Singh, (iii) The Guru Granth Sahib, (iv) The utterances and teachings of the ten Gurus and (v) the baptism bequeathed by the tenth Guru, and who does not owe allegiance to any other religion, is a Sikh.">>>>> ...soo (according to you) this doesn't means that we must follow these rules right...what would happen in a certain gurduara where there is not a single gursikh??then what would happen to the seva in the guaduara?? :T: ...pretty true eh.... ...sooooo....i think you should just drop it and say vaheguru and be happy.... ...the only thing you should be worrying about is of your own self...just make sure you are playing your role as a gursikh....and leave the rest of the world alone...... ...sorry if i hurt you with the truth...bhul chuk maaf... :e: ...ve muthejah, ve paarvah....nanak das kaho gurvah... ...PeAcE...
