  1. The current committee running the Leamington & Warwick Gurdwara Sahib are up to their old tricks again. This time their actions could have a damaging affect on ALL Gurdwara sites up and down the country. A Gurdwara Sahib constitution that makes NO reference to the Akaal Takht ... mmm? See attached for more details. Proposed Constitution - Newletter V9.pdf
  2. Pav is keen to educate the world on Sikhism and "show them that Sikhs are liberal, loving people who know how to have fun." Pav likes girls that are short, fun and fit. "I'm a shallow man, looks are important to me and a strong fashion sense", he says. He's not looking for love in the House, but if he's interested in someone, he won't hide his feelings. Check out the following for more details: http://bigbrother.channel5.com/housemate/pav Should be interesting ...

  6. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh! Please note that a deadline of Friday 8th January has been set in order for us to forward the results of the petition to Leamington & Warwick GPC. 7. http://www.gopetitio...line/33077.html The 25th October 2009 became an historic day for Sadh Sangat (Congregation) of Leamington & Warwick, after just 18 months of construction our Landmark Gurdwara Sahib opened by the grace and arrival of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. This dream and vision became a reality through years of forward planning, excellent project management and especially fund raising by the entire Sadh Sangat, which is a momentous achievement for such a small Sikh community. On the 25th March 2009, a General Ajlas (Meeting) was held, during which the Sadh Sangat unanimously approved the creating of a Guru Ka Bagh (Gardens), a National Sikh Heritage Centre and a Community Centre that conforms and adheres to Sikh ethics and principals. These new phased developments on the Gurdwara Sahib complex would enable the Gurdwara Sahib Leamington & Warwick to become a Centre of Sikh learning of international repute and standing. We need your support to send a strong message to the Gurdwara Management Committee that the overwhelming majority of Sadh Sangat wish the Guru ka Bagh - gardens project and National Sikh Heritage Centre to go ahead as approved and not be hindered by any temporary buildings. http://www.gopetitio...line/33077.html Please note that this petition is not restricted to the Sangat of Leamington & Warwick - it is open to ALL and will benefit the wider Sikh Community.

  9. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh! I'm at a point in my life where I'm seriously thinking about taking Amrit. My Guru's hukam is for me to take this path and with his blessing my dream will come true. I've been speaking to several close family members about this and one of them has suggested that I start to wear ALL 5 K's before taking Amrit in a bid to 'train' my body and mind in preparation for the Rehit which comes with taking Amrit. I've never really thought of doing this before, I mean, I have my Kesh, wear a Kara but to wear ALL 5 K's before taking Amrit?!? The more of I think of this, the more it becomes appealing, however, what does the Sangat think? Is this is a good or bad thing? Is it allowed? If anyone has any suggestions or answers please post your replies as any feedback would be very much appreciated. Bul Chuk Maaf. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!
