I AGREE, it is shameful for Sikhs not to support this event becuase it is not jsut a Khalistan event, it is for REMEMBRANCE & JUSTICE as well!!!
Although, I'm not too keen that such a list should be published becuase some may be supporting, or will support, but the list will just get passed on. Instead everyone should just be encouraged to make all theor local Gurdwaras support the event.

That is true, Sarna is much worse than Badal. Sikhs have no true political leader in India at the moment who will think of only the Panth, and not for him/theirself, the people have no choice, who can they vote? They are all the same, but I have to admit, it is a fact, Sarna is much much worse than even Badal.

Jasbir, Gurdeep...etc are all anti-Panthic agents disguised as "Sikhs". They have brainwashed the owner of Panjab Radio Surjit Ghuman (who has no idea of anything Gurmat and is not a practising Sikh) and using him and his media platform, Panjab Radio, to brainwash the listeners and destroy Sikhi. Not that it will ever happen!
Panjab Radio do not respect Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Bhindranwale one bit, they disrespect Shaheeds, Sants, and Sant Ji again and again. Every Gurmat idea Sant Ji, and rightfully, propogated and preached, Panjab Radio go against all the time. They are no where near respecting SANT JI.
EVERYONE BY NOW SHOULD HAVE BOYCOTTED THAT FAILURE OF A RADIO STATION, THE ANTI-PANTHIC PANJAB RADIO!

I'm getting sick and tired of these nindaks who slander for no reason. These nindaks have been around since the Puraatan times and they keep getting re-born to continue their nindya.
However, good people like most of the posters above will also continue to be born to fight against these anti-Panthic people with their twisted ideologies.

I heard the FSO messed things up last year due to their enmity with Amrik Singh Gill's Sikh Federation UK. I do not agree with FSO views of not having Trafalgur Square like what they did last year. I am with Sikh Federation UK on this one and hope they will take the lead for the run-up of events to the 25th Anniversary.
Hope they, and all other Sikh organisations will work together (without enmity or jealousy) to make the anniversary events a SUCCESS!

For funds, it is best to get pledges from the Gurdwaras and Sikh businessmen. Also, something online perhaps for the general Sangat worldwide (Debit Card payments, Paypal...etc), I'm sure it will definitely add up very quickly. Make posters for nationwide distribution and approach the Gurdwaras to promote this much needed vision.
If Sikhs can raise MILLIONS of pounds for many new Gurdwaras around the country, I'm sure raising £750,000 for a much needed Sikh Channel, the first of its kind, should not be too difficult.
This is something we lack from Sikhs in Puraatan times - WORKING TOGETHER AND SUPPORTING EACH OTHER FOR THE PANTH!

This is a very good move and you have my 100% support in this project. If there is anything i can get involved in then please feel free to let me and I am more than happy to get involved in this Seva.
You are going to get people who are going to try and pull you down in this project. We see it happen all the time whether its in a Gurdwara or in other projects. My advice to you is stay focused and with Guru Maharaj Ji's kirpa this will be a success. We need the Sikh Channel. It is something that should have come in to exisitence years ago.
Some points have been raised around transparency. I suggest that those individuals contact KSUK and discuss these issues and clarify any concerns they may have. Discouraging such a project is not sensible and is potentially damaging for us all.

This is a very IMPORTANT point you have made. No need to bring names into it, everyone organises coaches, but everyone doesn' bring their names into it.
From what I know the youth do a lot of the work co-ordinated by one or two of the jathebandi's. From past experience, I think we all know who these ONE or TWO jathebandhi's are, and who the one or two elder Singh's names on the poster who actually do anything are, the rest are just for the photo's! - but I'm not going to say any names of people/jathebandi's and bring controversy talk. We know who the good and bad people are! The rest is all Guru Ji's bakshash.
