    i agree with my brothers and sisters on this one...there are innumerable singhs and singhnees who follow the rehat completely, i can not even begin to name them because there are so many....Sikhs are all around you but u will only see them if u look at them as Gursikhs...u need 2 stop thinking that every1 in a bana is just a show sikh.

    both sides are NOT the same!!! every fight has been picked by the other commitee, Saadh Sangat Slate. The Khalsa are there to kick them out! just in case anybody doesn't know, Bhai Sahib Bhai Gurmeet Singh Ji Khalsa has been trying to do that for years now. The saadh sangat party is a bunch of government people trying to finish off Sikhi! and look at the trick they played, they put a lady on their ballot so that if all the women vote for her, then somehow she can get into the commitee and in that manner, the Jandi, Chela party will still be able to cause havoc in the gurdwara (ie: steal money, get people killed, continue their smuggling businesses). Hopefully the Khalsa party will win and by Guru Ji's kirpa, the gurdwara will be spared of any further disrespect and heart- wrenching scenes.

    Note: Election results will come out tomorrow, January 13th. Hopefully:

    i have seen this myself, many times. sometimes i feel like crying. why can't they understand what our reliogion teaches. Khalsa is supposed to be "Niara", different from everybody else. i wish that all of todays sikhs would realize that.

    i personally think that when a singhni wears a dastaar there is nothing more beautiful than that. The dastaar is a representation of our "vilakhanta" from the rest of the world, why then should we try to mix in with the others?

    i hope guru ji blesses us all with enough budhhi so that we can realize this.

    i have a "sikh" friend and we got into a very heated debate on meat. She told me that she doesn't eat cows because you get something from them, but she eats chicken because they don't give humans anything to eat...well i was really furious at her and i told her to go and eat some ants, cockroaches, snails, and all those slimy and creepy creatures because they don't give us anything elses to eat. people are sooo stupid nowadays...i wish i could change schools! i have probably gotten into a hundred fights just in the first semester! wacko.gif i hjate the way some guys at our school will wear a really big and heavy kara, but when u ask them what it means they'll look at u like u r some weirdo!

    did i mention that i like gulab jamun, samosas, pakore..............i think it is hard for many to believe that i have nver even tried cake or pizza, or noodles, or lasagna, and a whole store full of non-punjabi foods. I love trhe combination of veggie, punjabi, and tasty foods........who needs all this non-punjabi food?

    so i m still not sure if washing ur kes is a daily requirement...when i took amrit, the punj piyare didnt say anything of the sort....... :wub: i m confused..............and it wasnt very long ago tht i took amrit...just a few weeks ago...i m sure i didnt hear them say anything about kesi ishnaan every day.....
