I think you are talking about Bhai Saheb Bhai Sarban Singh Ji. He use to be a Hazuri Ragi at Darbar Saheb, but is now staying at Dasmesh Darbar in Surrey.

Playing Gatka in the two Nagar Kirtans, (april 4th- abbotsford, april 10th- Surrey)...the Surrey Nagar Kirtan is HUGE!!! I'm guessing over 100,000 in Sangat. Gurudwara Sahib Dasmesh Darbar, Surrey is going to have its annual Fair in the parking lot. Every year, about 1 week before Vaisaki, the parking lot is full of amuesment rides and games etc. There is also going to be outdoor Darbars at Dasmesh Darbar, where they have a big, high stage in the parking lot, and the Sangat sits and fills the parking lot. Its gonna be crazy!!! Can't wait!!!

I was just wondering why some sikhs like to wear such big and heavy puggs because that doesnt seem practical to me. Is it just to show extra pride?

so those of u that are completely against having a bf/gf do u think arranged marriage is the only way to go?

i think attachment would be like becoming dependent on something to make u happy. the way i'm attached to the computer and a few other things. attachments are hard to avoid completely but it's good to have will power and try.

The only person you should have feelings for is waheguru.

um first of all waheguru's not a person and it is ok to have feelings for people as long as its not like an attachment. caring for those who are dear to u and praying for them to wish them the best is not a bad thing. i guess it's possible for a bf/gf to be a positive thing depending on what they do together. they could have insightful conversations and experiences. can be like a great team. if this leads to marriage it would be better than just arranged.
