how do the guys feel about girls that dont shave their legs? what would u prefer? i still do sometimes cause i dont have the total love sikhs should have for their hair yet. sometimes i think of hair like grass or other natural things that people cut

hell is just the life cycle and heaven is becoming one with God. Christians believe in the physical forms though. sometimes its hard to respect all religions equally when they believe different things

i believe ghosts exist. if the last thing u think about before u die involves a certain thing, u become a ghost. it does have to do with unfinished business. i think people that are murdered are more likely to become a ghost. some of those true stories on beyond belief are very interesting. anyone seen that show?

Say that some one has taken Amrit and thay have done things that they were not to do, can they repent and take Amrit again. Is it alright to do this, or is it wrong?

is it important to have a sikh name if ur a sikh? my name bothers me sometimes because it's not a sikh or even a punjabi name. it's jessica. some people wonder why thats my name. my mom said she gave me that name because she wasnt into religion at the time.

daly jee, if you dont understand what dhaadhee jathas are saying, then i suggest you try to improve on your punjabi vocabulary and general knowledge of history ...cuz dhadhee's basically explain sikh history in kavitaa form. :D Believe you me, it does help...i never liked dhadhee jathas in the past cuz i thought they were just a bunch of noisemakers screaming away, but eversince i understood the history behind what they say and the way they put forth whatever their trying to say, i think they are kewl :D They really bring on alot of "josh" in a sangat.
yea "josh" that's a good word to describe them

every religion was meant to keep hair. look at all the prophets like jesus and all. they never cut their hair. i'm not sure where it says in the sggs either though
i dont really get what u mean by "pulling" hair. u mean like plucking?

shaving is especially stupid because it doesnt even feel smooth. leaving the hair the way it is feels a lot better cause the tips arent rough or anything. not to mention the total waste of time and money people have to put into it. do any members here cut any of their hair?

i enjoy dhadi jathas just as much as normal kirtan. i wouldnt call what dhadis do rap but it is a good comparison

well MAYBE we CAN remember waheguru while doing bhangra?? i think it's possible
0 -
yea the lyrics of bhangra are almost as bad as rap. but i still think that music is alright once in a while because people will still know whats wrong and right. i dont think if someone hears a song about drinking alcohol that they would start drinking too. the music is good for ur heart and feeling the beat and dancing to it is fine too

rapping might be okay if its done in an english version. not with the original shabad words
0 -
oh i didnt know it was actually used. i have seen the bhog thing though. i thought it wasn't sharp enough though. i would rather use pepper spray or some non fatal gun for safety instead of a kirpan because i cant imagine using a kirpan. not that i think i need to keep something like that because i trust that God will keep me safe. and the bhoots??? that's very interesting. do bhoots try to do things to people that dont deserve payback?

yea some definatley rap from the heart but it doesnt sound like it would really touch ur soul. rap is enjoyable because of the beat it's not usually touching. what's wrong with the way kirtan is sung? i think it's perfect as long as theirs an overhead showing the translations of the shabads as they sing. haha dalj it's kinda annoying how ur talking kinda black. but if that's the real u then thats fine B)
