  1. yes and i have heard some oral incidents which i dint find anywhere in the pages of history, to say if this is true or not, this is about the early invasions when universities like taksha shila which were predominantly buddhist existed around afghanistan (guess what ! i am practicing speaking it correctly :D )

its is said that the mussalman invaders captured a university and caught hold of a librarian and asked him what was written in the books which were lying here, the librarian said what ever was not in the quran was mentioned in these books. the invaders said if that is the case then why should such a library exist which doesnt not contain what is in the quran burn it down ! that university was destroyed and the invaders moved on.

the librarian reached another library and told the librarian of that library this incident, to be ready when the invaders come to him. when the invaders reached that library and asked him about what was mentioned in the books here , he answered that all that was in the quran was mentioned in the books here. the invaders said, well if that was the case why should there be a entire library when everything was there in the quran Burn it down !

  2. l singh ji bullseye ! what you say is absolutely true ! i have interacted with what these guys term as OBC , SC ST , dalit , adivasi etc...

my findings tell me the lower the more creamy, even amongst hindus the lowest lot is the best hindu, their gals dotn run away with <banned word filter activated>, they dont convert unless are pressurized by hunger, medical issues, they maintain their dignity and are proud of their culture.

  3. kaljugi veer ji , its a huge loss, i have been urging granthis, jathedars, whomever i meet to do parchaar amongst the downtrodden, i have personally maintained good relations with them, my plea has been unheard

people take them as dirty, uncouth, but read the literature or visit their basti you will realise what they have gone through, we all are responsible and we still continue to be responsible, till date caste based discrimination is not eradicated, we have been practicing this in our pinds.

?On Baisakhi Day of 1939, Dr. Ambedkar participated in the all India Sikh Mission Conference in Amritsar along with his supporters wearing a turban, and to demonstrate his decision to join 70 million untouchables into Sikhism, he made his nephew partake amrit to become a Khalsa Sikh. The delight S. Amar Singh felt at the prospects of increasing the numbers of Sikhs by 70 million within his lifetime can be seen from his writings. But soon Master Tara Singh adopted such policy that Dr. Ambedkar and his untouchable followers would not come near the Sikhs or Sikhism. ? Unfortunately for the Panth, Master Tara Singh developed the apprehension that if Dr. Ambedkar and his untouchable followers became Sikhs, then Dr. Ambedkar would become the sole leader of Panth and Master Tara Singh would loose his glory. At that time S. Amar Singh wrote in the ?Shere Punjab?, that, ?For the advancement of the Panth of Guru Gobind Singh, who had sacrificed whole of his family over the Khalsa, we should be prepared to sacrifice our

whole families to say nothing of political power or riches.?

?In 1936, elections to the Bombay Legislative Assembly were to be held. Considering the Sikhs as his brotherhood, Dr. Ambedkar sent message to Master Tara Singh that he had the chances of becoming the Chief Minister of Bombay State by leading his Party to victory, and asked the Panth in Punjab to extend financial help of twenty five thousand to him. Master Tara Singh found this as a golden opportunity to turn Dr. Ambedkar away from Sikhism and Panth. He came to S. Amar Singh in the Lahore office of ?Shere Punjab? and said, ?Look at this Ambedkar, he is asking money from the Sikhs.? Amar Singh ji replied, ?What are you talking about Master ji? If Dr. Ambedkar were merely looking for money, he could raise crores from Muslims or Christians, why should he turn to Sikhism? He is just asking for a small amount as a gesture of brotherhood. It doesn?t behove of us to suspect his intentions.? Master ji immediately changed his tone, ?I was just afraid that you would oppose me in the All India Sikh Mission if I gave thi

s amount. But now that you have also approved of it, I will send this amount to Dr. Ambedkar tomorrow itself.? S. Amar Singh told him with folded hands, ?Look, don?t procrastinate, in fact send him Rs. 50,000 instead of 25,000.?

?Anyway, Master ji drew the money from the account of All India Sikh Mission, but instead of sending a draft or cheque, gave the whole money to his protégé Master Sujan Singh Sarhali, and sent a message to S. Amar Singh that the money had been sent to Dr. Ambedkar. It came out after the elections that the money was lost in the way and not a penny was let reach Dr. Ambedkar. Instead, to further antagonize Dr. Ambedkar against Sikhism, taunts were thrown his way that he had tried to fleece money from Sikhs.

-- (From the Original in Urdu)?

?This money was neither re-deposited in the account of All India Sikh Mission, nor did it reach Dr. Ambedkar. It came to the uses of Master Sujan Singh and Master Tara Singh (Master Sujan Singh ate Master Tara Singh ji de hathin Guru laikhai lag gaye). K.S.?

  5. jass singh veer ji here is why ambedkar who was on the verge of becoming sikh with like 5 crore dalits dropped the idea and become buddhist, as usual apne are reasons.

I personally am close to dalits and dalit leaders, of what i have been personally told ambedkar had personally sent his followers to study sikhism to amritsar sahib, unfortunately when he was in touch with akali leaders a incident happened in punjab, in a gurdwara some mzhabis were refused langar, news reached ambedkar, this incident made him drop the idea.

  6. those were the days when there was no 'hindu' dharam, it was empire against empire or kingdom against kingdom, this wasnt a organised war.

why i say this is , if the hindus who number 100 crore today, were also in good numbers then too, had they this capacity the mughals wouldnt have ruled hindustan for 1000 years nor would have the british dreamt to set foot on the indian soil .

The allegation that the hindus are planning to wipe out the panth cannot be agreed since if the hindus were that strong or wanting to do this they wouldnt have even allowed the panth to ever exist.

today we may blame some kings for wiping out buddhism, however if you read history you will understand that what happened was a boon in disguise.

those were the times when this entire country was like 80% buddhist, had this percentage not decreased you and me wouldnt have been what we are today, the reason being the islamic invasion took place and they not only finished buddhist kingdoms, they converted them to islam. Afghanistan is big example, similiarly south east asia too.

indira gandhi khan and rahul khan have been not only anti sikh they have been anti hindu too, the hindus too dont like them much.

there are apne in congress too, i dont know when will apne learn.

  7. this is just kiddish excuse, u think the hindus have taken us at sword points and make us remove our dastaars ? first look into yorself and then pinpoint others, a vaddi dastaar waale nihang major singh ji exists only in india so think twice before thinking in such a immature way

  8. i hope u r in yor senses , do u know more than his wife ? his own wife is a liar and u . ..are you related to him ?? do u know what you are talking ? i hope u r in south hall and not in bangladesh or <banned word filter activated> stan ..wake up man...read the entire link again its in english...what sikh freedom fighters are you talking of ? what is this issue ? do u bloddy understand ?

or have the <banned word filter activated> paid you dinars to promote them on sikh forums ??

His statement must be probed: Kavita Karkare

Kavita Karkare, wife of slain Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) chief Hemant Karkare, said Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh's controversial statement on Karkare should be probed.

She was speaking to journalists after attending the preview of the movie 332 Mumbai to India here on Sunday.

Asked about Mr. Singh's statement, Ms. Karkare said: “Yes, it has to be inquired into, because many people say Hindutva forces were behind it [Karkare's death]. Books have been written about it too. These things could have a dangerous impact on the 26/11 investigations.”

She denied that Mr. Singh and Hemant Karkare shared a personal relationship.

To reports of email threats to Karkare, Ms. Karkare said: “He may have received email threats. ATS chiefs do a range of investigations, but he never shared official matters with me.”

Asked if the issue had been politicised, she said: “I do not want to criticise any party, but I disagree with the view that Hindutva groups were involved. As the wife of a martyr, I don't want the issue to be politicised.”

Ms. Karkare said that with her personal responsibilities, she did not have the strength to endure political controversies. “I do not want to touch politics. I have had many offers, but I do not want to enter the field.”

Smita Salaskar, wife of slain encounter specialist Vijay Salaskar, and Vaishali Ombale, daughter of Tukaram Ombale who lost his life while intercepting terrorist Mohammad Ajmal Amir Kasab, were also present at the movie preview.
