  1. Once Babaji was staying at a beloved Singhs house in the UK, with a couple that had (and still has) limitless prem for Babaji. Babaji was resting on their bed while a Singh sat nearby reciting Gurbani. All of a sudden Babaji shot up from their rest and began pacing back and forth into the room. After a while, Baba ji finally returned to normal. Some time later, the confused Paathi Singh asked what had happened. Babaji said, while they were resting, Sant Baba Gurbachan Singh ji Khalsa Bhinderanwale came to the edge of the bed and sat down at the ground where Baba ji's charn were. Baba ji couldn't handle this and shot up immediately until Sant ji left. (This was a few years ago). The Paathi sing was left amazed and had no words to speak.

I get this story, but how does it make you alert?

The other stories are amazing :D

  2. kirt karo wand chako naam japo

this was the first commandment by BABA NANAK to his followers , so before doing jjap

lets first dedicate ourselves to redesign our lifestyle towards kirat , and SEWA

WITHOUT WHICH ANY JAAP WOULD BE OF NO USE . THEN DEDICATE TO

    ANY NUMBER OF JAAPS .

SORRY IF THAT OFFENDS ANY BODY

i think the opposite tho :/

doing jap makes us want to do seva and kirat karni

im just a 14 year old ill-knowledgable kid tho :)

and I did 108 from the mala just now XD

  4. Half way through the night two intoxicated men decided that they needed to cross the river. In the intense darkness they managed to find a boat and entered it. They paddled with enormous vigour and enthusiasm. They were huffing and puffing but the zeal to get to the other side subdued any pain and exertion they encountered......

    .....

I disagree we should take this effort to divide the panth seriously. Because they are carrying out subversive activities against Sikhs and they want to divide the panth not only in punjab but also in western countries where the voice of the Sikhs to speak on issues effecting the community wont be representated properly if our numbers are shown to be less. This is a deep rooted conspiracy by congressi/brahminist/elitist type powers to divide Sikhism along caste lines because the main beef of these people (they say) are with the Jatts yet they want to make trouble for all Sikhs? and want to create a separate religion?

They cant even answer basic questions about the source of where they get their "amrit bani" the source being Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, what is their afterlife? what is their code of conduct? they have nothing yet they want to create a seperate religion more like a cult. This is why Sikhs should take these cultist individuals to task and challenge them, we should offer our full support to chumaar/dalit/ravidassi's brothers/sisters who are Sikhs and help them resolve any issues they are facing in terms of discrimination, etc.

on a serious note, i agree completely :D

  6. Wjkk Wjkf Jeo,

There is no such Steek available on the internet as far as I know. You can read the translations on http://www.sridasam.org for example, but the translations can be a bit off. I have been told the Steek by Gyani Narain Singh Ji is the best, but it is not on the internet as for now. Also, it is in Gurmukhi only so I dont know how much it is going to be of use to you.

hmm, I found wat I was looking for on searchgurbani.com...is that a good source?

  8. its exactly the same as Shaheedi Degh Prashad, but without the punj pathe. The Nihang Singhs would make and drink this everyday, as grinding with mortar and pestal strengthens the arms, and the protein from the Shardai allows for intense training.

This is the energy drink of the old BABA JI.

Better supplement that an protein drink or energy drink.

Shardai would be consumed as a normal drink on any day or whatever, but Shaheedi Degh would only be taken during battle or as a medicinal aid.

hmm great!...do u know any recipe so that the rest of the sangat and I can drink it everyday too?
