  5. Ik-Oankar Satgur Prasad! Sri Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh! Sri Akaaal Purakh Ji Sahae! With Jathedar Baba Joginder Singh Ji's presence in the UK, Gursikhs have been performing Sehaj Paths around the country. The bhog of the Sehaj Paths will be on the 22nd of August in Wolverhampton, corresponding with the Sikh festival of Rukhr Puniya. The Eighth Guru, Sri Guru Harkrishan Ji Sahib, had instructed the Sikhs that the next Guru would be found at Baba Bakala. Within a short space of time twenty two false preachers proclaimed themselves to be the successor of Sri Guru Harkrishan Ji Sahib. Following the trials and tribulations of Makhan Shah Lubana, he found the True Guru. With great joy he climbed on top of the hut and proclaimed, "Guru Ladho Re, I have found the true Guru." It is in celebration of this momentous occasion, and with the blessings of Guru Granth Panth, that Buddha Dal UK announces the following program. 15:30 Bhog Sri Sehaj Paths 17:15 Aarti Aarta and Ardas 18:00 – 20:00 Keertan and Katha Both Jathedar Baba Joginder Singh Ji (Buddha Dal) and Giani Mehtab Singh (Tarna Dal Baba Bakala) will be in attendance. This is the first time in Sikh history that the Jathedar of Buddha Dal is present in the celebration of a Sikh festival in the Western hemisphere. Sikhs from around the world are encouraged to take part in this unique event. More details to follow. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa! Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh!

  8. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa! Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh! With the divine grace of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj we would like to present to the Sangat the first in a series of videos promoting the spirit of the Sikhs of old in order to inspire the Sikhs of today, particularly the youth. We call this video series "Honour The Past", with videos looking primarily at the tales of great Sikhs heroes whose legions must now come out from our great historical scriptures and inspire out to Sikhs today to achieve our great potential. The first video is on the sacrifice of Sahibzada Baba Jujhar Singh Ji, the beloved second royal prince of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji (Raajan Raaj). We hope with these videos to promote positive qualities to be held by the Sikh youth today; teaching important values, ideals and characteristics in which to serve the world, our Guru and Akaal Purakh. We look forward to the Sangats feedback in making this project a success. Any keen historians or those with media skills wanting to get involved, please email media@nihangsingh.org Video 1:

Please click on this link to view the article: http://www.nihangsin...gurugobind.html 'Rarely in the annals of human history does there appear a personage capable of awakening the human heart's noblest virtues to such an extent that an entire nation dynamically expresses the finest of its inherent qualities. Guru Gobind Singh had such an exceptional personality. Matchless in character and unparalleled in attributes, striking in figure and divine in demeanour, he was the definitive warrior-saint. In battle he knew no equal; in piety he was sublime. His presence inspired awe, devotion, and valour. Poet, visionary, sage, warrior, and leader, he fearlessly rallied the valiant forces of righteousness lying dormant within the weary hearts of his people. The strength of his moral fibre and the conviction of his spiritual and social ideals inspired his nation to fulfil its noble destiny, uplifting it within a singular purpose. In the entire history of humankind, the unparalled example of Guru Gobind Singh stands as a perennial source of inspiration for the leaders of the world.' 12. Singh Sahib Jathedar Baba Chet Singh Ji - 12th Jathedar of Shiromani Panth Akali Buddha Dal, Panjvah Takht. The Saints are my Beloved Friends Jathedar Baba Chet Singh was widely revered by all Mahapursh as a complete Brahmgiani. They were very close with some of the Mahapursh who were also on the earth at the time carrying out the seva they had been given by Akaal Purakh. When Nihang Singhs visit Nanaksar, Old sevadars and Saints there who have performed seva there for many years often relate many stories of Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji's (Nanaksar Vale) fondness of Baba Chet Singh Ji. The long mala which can be seen around Baba Chet Singhs neck in the above picture, was initially presented to Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji by a devotee. Baba Isher Singh Ji was amused and said that the sarbloh mala was too heavy and he would not be able to carry it. As Baba Chet Singh was of formidable height and strength, Baba Isher Singh decided he would give it as a present to his dear friend. Baba Isher went to visit Budha Dal and upon meeting Baba Chet Singh Ji placed the heavy mala around the Jathas neck and offered it as a present. Baba Isher Singh Ji said "now I can swing from this." The two laughed greatly and Baba Chet Singh replied "Oh great Saint you may do as you wish". Being a present from such a highly accomplished Saint, Baba Chet Singh greatly treasured the mala and despite its heavy weight used to loop it several times around their neck. Baba Isher Singh used to speak very highly of Baba Chet Singh to those at Nanaksar, there are other stories of these two Mahapursh which will be told during lectures at the Barsi. Giani Thakur Singh Patiale Vale also mentions in one of his kathas the high veneration Mahapurkhs of Taksal had for Baba Chet Singh, considering him to be a perfect embodiment of a true Khalsa, immersed in Naam Simran. Honouring the close friendship and respect Mahapursh of diverse traditions following distinct maryadai had for one another, all Sikh Sangat from all Jathebandia should attend and do Ardas that Maharaj blesses us with such Ekta and Pyar that these great Saints shared. Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Nanaksar Vale

  14. A dicussion on the qualities of the Khalsa prescribed by Sri Guru Gobind Singh in the Sri Sarbloh Parkash Granth. An informative and articulately expressed article written in English by Tirath Singh Nirmala. http://www.nihangsingh.org/website/mm-grahi.html
  15. VahegurooJiKaKhalsa! VahegurooJiKiFateh! Thousands of copies of the CD titled 'Granth Panth Khalis Vartanta' featuring Sri Sarbloh Granth (Patshahi 10) Gurbani recitation and Katha by Jathedar Baba Tarlok Singh were distributed this Vaisakhi by Nihang Singhs in various cities in India, England, Canada, America, Scotland and other parts of the world. For those who were not able to recieve a CD, the two tracks on the CD are now available on the following link: http://www.nihangsingh.org/website/mm-tarlok.html We encourage all to listen to the katha, reflect and discuss the important messages within it and thrive to preserve our puratan Khalsa virsa. If anyone would like some copies of the CDs to distribute in their local sangat in order to enlighten people of the valuable treasure contained within the writings of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, please contact media@nihangsingh.org . Please listen to the katha carefully and encourage your family and friends to do so too. Below is the Press Release from earlier this year regarding the CD launch. Ikoankar Sat Gur Prasad! Sri Vaheguru Ji Fateh! -- Granth Panth Khalsa Vartanta -- Jatha Nihang Singha - Press Release The Tenth Master, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj immortalised their role in history at the Vaisakhi Amrit Sanchar of 1699. By bowing before the Khalsa Panth and asking to receive the immortal nectar, Amrit, the world would for centuries chant “Great great is Guru Gobind Singh, He is both the Master and Servant”. This humble legacy created by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji is evident in their writings contained within the Sri Sarbloh Granth, in which a portion of the scripture is dedicated to the praise of the dual institution of Guru Granth and Guru Panth. It is with great pleasure that we announce the release of the CD titled ‘Granth Panth Khalsa Vartanta’ – ‘Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji showers the Khalsa Panth with boons and blessings.’ The first track on the CD features recitation of Gurbani by Baba Sukhdev Singh from Sri Sarbloh Granth in praise of the Guru Khalsa Panth and Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Following this there is discourse on select verses by Jathedar Baba Tarlok Singh Ji Khyale Vale. The writings of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji form the root of the Khalsa Panth, as shall be evident from this discourse. It is the writings of the Tenth Guru which expound the Khalsa Rehat and declare the supreme divine magnificence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji whom grants the Khalsa Panth with boons and blessings. One also finds in the Bani contained on the CD reference to the Sikh kakkars, origins and greatness of Vaheguru Mantr, Creation of the Khalsa, living standards for the Khalsa to adhere to and the importance of Gurbani Santhiya. Evidently, this work poses substantial importance for those seeking to understand and replicate the historically legitimate practises and beliefs of the Khalsa Panth in its purest form. Baba Tarlok Singh, being a well recognised scholar of the Sikh faith and a member of the warrior saint Nihang Singh community, eloquently presents this unique landmark in which he fluently elaborates on some of the most fundamental aspects of the Sikh faith. He draws upon history, tradition, philosophy and wider literature to contextualise the content at hand and bring a greater level understanding to the listener. The diversity of knowledge contained within the discourse ranges from meditation technique to stories of Sikh heroes who attained the supreme Khalsa status as described by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The abundant praise and glory ascribed to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji as the source of grace for the Khalsa Panth also shreds misunderstandings created by the false lie that believing in the writing of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji results in less reverence for Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The CD will be available free of charge around the world at various Nagar Keertans at Vaisakhi 2010. To participate and do seva in your city please contact: media@nihangsingh.org or -004477521217502. The CD will also be available to download free of charge on www.NihangSingh.org All Rights Reserved
  16. VaheguruJiKaKhalsa! VaheguruJiKiFateh! On the occasion of Vaisakhi 1699 when Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji revealed the Khalsa Panth to the world, the Panj Pyarai who were the primal members of the Khalsa were presented to the Sikh congregation dressed in blue robes and the Panj Kakkar. Bhai Gurdas Singh, a contemporary poet of the Tenth Guru writes; ‘Like this the Buchangi Singh (young warriors) were presented, adorned in blue garments.’ (Vaaran, Bhai Gurdas Singh) * In Pracchin Panth Parkash, it is noted that upon the creation of the Bhuchangi (Nihang) Singhs, groups of Nihang Singhs were sent across the land at the instruction of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji to perform Amrit Sanchars and initiate new recruits into the Khalsa Panth. For more three hundred years Nihang Singhs have carried forward the traditions of the Guru Sahib’s and have performed thousands of Amrit Sanchars across India. Residents of the UK are most fortunate that Nihang Singhs lead by Jathedar Baba Tarlok Singh Mukhi Tarna Dal (Khyale Vale) will be performing an Amrit Sanchar at Sri Guru Singh Sabha Southall at 10am on the 10th of April 2010. Drinking nectar from a spiritual master is seen as the first sign of commitment from a disciple. We urge all to take this step towards the Guru and join the Khalsa Panth. Meditate upon the Guru’s writing, heed to the Guru’s message, join the Guru’s fold and flow in the stream the leads back to the divine ocean. 17. Bhai Sahib - There is ekta among Puratan Sampardhas and Jathebandhis. It has nothing to do with Nidar Singh, but everything to do with Gurus Jis Dal Panth Shiromani Panth Akali Buddha Dal and Tarna Dal and Guru Ji's Damdami Taksal. The Akal Takht Hukamnama for other Granths is in reference to Vedh Kateb, NOT Dhan Dhan Dasmesh Pitas Bani, Sri Dasam Guru Granth Sahib. People like you who enforce that silly sentiment also then say that Sri Japji Sahib pothiya should not be parkash
  18. Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh Dear Sadh Sangat Jee, Friday March 19th 2010 is a day we should never forget. We decided to unite and take a stand in the face of the forces that work against our Guru. We were like the shadows of the Singhs and Singhnee’s of our past, representing our future. The morcha that took place to stop Darshan sitting on stage in the darbar sahib at Miri Piri Academy in Southall is the first of many more to come. Until we as a panth, decide that we will hold Guru sahibs bachan, His words as most sacred people will continue to abuse and slander our Guru’s. Individuals like Darshan and Kala Afghana have been killing the sikh psyche for many years spreading propaganda against the core beliefs of the panth. Their sole purpose is to create confusion and divide our panth. Darshan has been announced as a vemukh, a traitor and a tankheea of the panth. Anyone who follows his words or his beliefs is also a vemukh. Do you wish to associate with such men? THINK! Would Guru Sahib associate with such men? Do not allow yourselves to fall into a false sense of security sadh sangat jee. You can go into many shops not far from where the incident on Friday night took place and pick up CD’s by Darshan that has shabads from Sri Guru Dasam Granth jee. In all the years he has served as a ragi he never voiced any opinions against Sri Guru Dasam Granth Jee. Why the sudden change? Our panth has been injected with a cancer and we allow our community to perpetuate this. All this division and misunderstanding of Guru Sahibs words is damaging our present and will devastate the young minds of tomorrow. We must rid ourselves of any doubt. We come across many bani’s that we may not understand or not have the intellect to conceptualise. This does not mean we should discount them, we should ask for guidance and understanding. We should embrace our history and accept that Guru Gobind Singh Jee has created a lineage for us, so misunderstandings such as the ones that face the panth today have no standing. We may not have the financial means or the media connections to combat the poison that is spread, but we have the satkar and prem for Guru sahibs paviter Gurbani. That resolve will never be shaken. For all the naysayers that walk amongst us, consider this... One of the greatest Gursikhs to have ever lived, Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Jee sat in front of Guru Gobind Singh and transcribed Gurbani as maharaaj recited it. Akhar for akhar, shabad for shabad, these granths still exist today. Is this not enough for you? I stand before the sangat and urge you to complete your santhiya in the institutions that have been created for us. Education is an absolute must for all Sikhs. If more of us value education and become more learned about Sikh history and philosophy people like Darshan, Manmohan and Thekadar would not last a minute. For all my brothers and sisters that stood with Buddha Dal, Taruna Dal and Dam Dami Taksaal on Friday night I commend you. I walked away that night feeling proud that the nau jawaan fauj of the UK has that pride, conviction and prem that they will stand for what is right no matter the circumstance. There is nothing that we can’t achieve when we stand together. There is still a long way to go and we must double our efforts with printing leaflets, CD’s, arranging programs and amrit sanchars. Our enemies are aware that they are able to avoid all panthic discussion that they have been invited to. They are aware they can hide amongst us and spread their propaganda but now they are highly aware that we will not let them get away with it. They know we will not sit in silence. We will act courageously in defence of Guru Sahibs Gurbani. Our best line of defence is to become the best Gursikhs we can possibly be. We can strive to be excellent in what we do. Read Gurbani, complete santhiya, never miss an amrit vela, stay tiaar bur tiaar and praise your weapons. We must train vigorously and educate ourselves for the era that approaches us. We have forces against us that go beyond what we can see. We need to embrace our panth, our tradition and our history in order to battle our foes. We all have a choice to make. We can sit on the sidelines and watch the battle play out in front of us or we can take a stand. Khalsa so jo kare nit jhang, khalsa so jo charai tarang, khalsa so jo shaster dhare, khalsa so jo dusht ko mare. Sriakaaljeesahai Wahegurujikakhalsawahegurujikifateh Jathedar Navjeet Singh Buddha dal
