The mind knows not what the heart knows... silencing my mind, and surrendering my head, I now speak from the realm of my heart...
Contemplating my Guru, I am filled with Wonder - Wah - Vismaad
Contemplating my Guru, my Heart blossoms forth in Bliss
Contemplating my Guru, I bow in Reverence, Amazement
Remembering my Guru, He's forever fresh and forever new
My Sada Ang Sangay... my Pyaaray... my love, my life...The Truth

So many call Him by these 11 names, and -
Some others say He is not 11, but just 1; Ik
Guru Nanak Jyot
Some see Him in the Five:
The Panj Pyaray, the Five Beloveds
Who gave their heads and hearts
and like Patasay merging into the Amrit Sar
They became Guru Sar Roop,
In infinite Anand pur - the state of Bliss
They merged, and the One became Five
And the five are One
The Panj Kakkar, the Five K's
Who like 5 Warriors adorn the body-mind
and Remind us of the path of Saintliness
each 5, dealing with the other 5, they fight the dual
on the body field of "Man Jeetai Jag Jeet"
They show us the way to break through the fort
of Sargun-Nirgun, and merge with Nirankar
The Panj Tattv, the Five Elements
With whom the Formless Lord created Form
And gave the gift of a human body, with which to praise Him
With every breath repeating the Name - Pavan Guru
To fan the flames of Tapas - creator of thirst - Agni
To prepare the earth of the body field - Dharti
That Amrit love may rain upon it and give it Life - Pani
And the seed of Bij mantra may grow into a Mool
And the Mool expand into Infinite Space like - Akash
~It is through these 5 elements that God gave us the gift of Life
And through these 5, the Guru spreads his Light
That in this life, we may merge into Him, the One beyond five
The Panj Thugs, the Five Evils
Who seem so mean and cruel - these five theives
Anger, greed, lust, attachment and ego - the creators of pain
They are but only five obedient soldiers under the Hukam of Guru
Who so cleverly repeats - "Dukh Daru Sukh Rog Bhaaya"
That through the pain and plundering of these famous five
Thousands upon thousands run to God's refuge - The Gur'dwara
And there, ready to die... as Jivan Mukt... they are given True Life
The Panj Khand, the Five Realms
Dharam, Gyan, Saram, Karam and Sach
He is all pervading - endless are His Worlds
Endless are His lessons, and forms and Word
The One who follows the path
- has already reached the destination
Oh Beloved of the Five, bind my senses Go-Bind
That I may see only You Pervading
To see him in the Five, and to see him in the Eleven
And yet still He remains only One - Ik
Siri Guru Jyot
Some see Him in Two:
Sargun and Nirgun
"Sargun Nirgun Nirankar Sun Samadi Aap"
Pervading Sargun and Nirgun
The One Himself sits in Samadhi~~*
---
As the beggar and the giver
The Guru and the Cheyla
The saint and the ignorant
Like night and day, gold and dust
He's all the same, Just as Pyaaray
The Husband, and the Bride
The home of the Self, and the Infinite
The Word and Sword, spreaded and merged
Reciting True Bani, in infinite Banas
Sitting among the Sangat, doing simran and seva
Dazed among the wildflowers, clouds and stars
Ocean and Desert, upon All - he Waves his fan of love
It's all the same to Him, Just as Pyaaray
He pervades and permeates -
and calls each place His Home
The lucky ones see Him as One, their eyes blessed with Divine Darshan
Their minds showered with Grace and GurPrasaad
Illuminated, Brahmgyani Saints, Inner-knowers, Beloveds, Pyaarays
ALL proclaiming 'He Is One, He Is One', in Wordless Words, in Awe:
WAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guru~~~*?
Waaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!
Guru~~~~*!!!
WAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
Wahhhhhhhhhhhhh~~~~!!
Wahhhh~~~*~~~*~~~~**
