Outside UK/Europe where no SKY signal visit www.sikhchannel.tv to watch the channel Live

Saw today a program which shown on Chardikala time tv India/USA and Sikhchannel UK/Europe. It was called Live: Mahan Samagam from Bangkok Thailand. Q1 Can someone give me more information why this samagam was held only because of the persons B'day who was interfering in shabads ( that is my opinion ) after some shabads he started doing katha. As I could not find any information about the Gurdwara where the Samagam was held what my dad could read for me from the footage that the samagam was held in Nirmal Mahal??????? What is the Gurdwara called?? ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************* Q2 I could even read on banner which stated Neeldhari Sampharna? If i am wrong please correct me. What is Neeldhari ( ppl with neeli pagh ) ?

RDX nice name......... but what is there in name............ I already have a life and it perfectly going with Guru Kirpa. the reason I wrote that that I am not Amritdhari was to make it clear before ppl like you who are going to ask me question you saw someone smoking but how good are you with Sikhi maryada. About pagh or no pagh ( there are no so called part-time Sikhs not from where I have got my knowledge about Sikhi " Sab Sikho Ko Hukam Hai Guru Maneyo Granth. So only who believe in Sikhism are Sikhs, and I am not talking about cutting hair or having a pagh or not. What I said it makes me angry when I saw ekonkar on his hand and a kara plus a cigarette. From my side everyone can do what ever thy want but at least don't show that you are sikh while doing bad or certain things.......... eat <banned word filter activated> but don't show you are Guru Sikh and doing that................ I just pointed my disappointed with honesty.................

No I didn't said anything to that person! As I was full of anger so I would have less words for him. About complaining and not talking to him is because as I told you I am not Amritdhari Sikh neither do I wear a turban on my head always. So I could have talk to him but still When I am angry then I am short of words and I knew if I am going to say anything to him I might end up fighting so avoided that.... Can't disgrace sikhi on street.................. About Giani's who do that what is mentioned above then all Gurdwara's should have such Giani's....... because most of the Gurdwara's have Giani who are greedy for money or they want to get visa through Gurdwara. I have come across very less Giani's who have the Gian (knowledge) to spread.

Was walking in the afternoon and saw a monah near bus stop smoking. When I was near him saw a Big Kara in his hand and Ekonkar tattoo on his hand! When people cut there hair and give excuse like thy were unable to find work in Sikhi Swaroop.......... U say Ok there might be problems. I know many Sikhs who smoke but when you see that it shows they are Sikhs makes me very angry 2day I felt like removing the tattoo with Ekonkar on his hand and then tell him enjoy your slowly dead while smoking! Can't understand why these people are even given entry in Gurdwara's as they smoke after they are out of Gurdwara and you can smell and tell that thy been smoking! Make me angry and I am not saying that I am a amritdhari Sikh or somthng like that! but still I try to be in Sikh Rehyat Maryada.

We have in past spoken to people in charge of broadcasting within The SGPC about a 24/7 Online Channel but they refused as they will loss money as when the Gurbani is been played in commercial Channel the SGPC get % of revenue and a % from ads income of channels generated while playing Gurbani! There have been Sevadaar's In USA and EU who tried to get the rights to Broadcast FREE online but thy were not granted the rights! plus due to time differences it will be difficult to have Sangat watch Gurbani as If the Rehraas sahib is in IST @ 6pm that will be around 2 or around 2 pm UK time so you can't have Rehraas Sahib ( evening prayer ) played in afternoon............. So it has to be delayed for countries with big time differences......

@SikhWorldTv What you saw was a unedited version of Gurbani. The Gurbani is Live In India and other sub continents but due to time gap they can't show it any where else! So they made a mistake or they had no one to look after the broadcasting on that day. I will Pm you pls check it!

They did not canceled the rights they took them away from Zee Network as Zee Networks position was very high and there contract ended last October and they gave the rights to Music India other wise they would have lost viewer and Music India might have not done much with it music and talk show so they though lets add Gurbani to our UK computer. Hopefully PTC will loses the rights and it will be given to Media owned by Sikhs who care about Sikhism and represent Sikhism. We need to take care that our Gurbani reaches millions and inspire our community to practice Sikhism ( not only youth but even there parents ). Will try to contact Music India London office to ask if they were having any technical problems or they just left the broadcasting on auto pilot. Hope more sangat will complain about this

Music India is making mistakes day by day first by cutting the Gurbani half way and going straight to music or ads. Today without a msg or apology in place of showing Rehraas thy were broadcasting morning prog from Golden Temple. if you contact there UK office no one answers! So we Needs to get Golden Temple rights from PTC and Music Indian and it should be given to any media channel controlled by SIKHS and only by SIKHS! PTC is being controlled by Badal's and doesn't represent Sikhs or Sikhism.. Music India only took the rights to gain some TPR or viewers........ They had no intentions of serving the SIKH community. We should bring SIKHTV back and keep what belongs to Sikhs with us and not have it been used commercially.

Paji Sikhi wise it was still starting, I can say that the programs they had lined up were no where near the channel which are broadcasting now! the channel had no fault till what I have seen ( if I am wrong pls correct me ) ......... I am talking abt the time when Gagan was alive and in charge of the programming. I have never met Gagan but he was an inspiration for every Sikh youth...! I am not here to judge anyone but seeing the current Sikhi channel broadcasting I can say If thy were not even broadcasting it wouldn't make any different . As majority of there prog are been controlled by ppl with wrong ideology and some presenters are just trying to gain some name to get a better job.............

Just got a msg from a very close source that SIKHTV might not come back as there is no support from the Sangat. I can understand as sangat might thinks that channel will be used for commercial or any other things. But my request to sangat is when we do daswand to any charity or Gurdwara we mostly do it to the charities we know or the Gurdwara we visit. We have been helping out SIKHCHANNEL, SANGAT TV then why not youth orientated SIKHi PANTH CHANNEL THE SIKHTV. which was far better then SC or S tv. (supports of the channel will have other thinking which I can't control). Before all the comments I would like to make it clear that nor am I working or connected with the Channel ( I might be connected emotionally with the Channel ) but there is no other gain all I need to know why can't we have 3 channels or more while other faiths have dozens.

Just Saw the new at bizasia that Zee Punjabi contract with Harmandir Sahib is ending by 14 sept and from 15/16 sept the Gurbani will be shown on MUSIC INDIA Great new for viewers as it FTA and for European ( out side UK ) viewers it great news as thy don't have to look around for other methods to watch Gurbani from Golden Temple. Just keep finger crossed that PTC will keep the broadcasting FTA with music india.

Shame on these so called sevadars who pretend to run Golden Temple while thy don't care about the wealth of the Gurdwara. Each and every sevadar within Harmandir Sahib is there only to fill in there pockets. Each year or let me say everyday NRI Sikhs are donation big amount of money be it for the sound system or any other needs while the Gurdwara it self is the biggest earning Gurdwara in the world and the poverty within Punjab is not been helped by these SGPC's ppls .......... saw doc about SIKHS becoming Christians because other religious group are helping them once they change there religion while sikh jathedar / sevadar only help them self........ SIKH can never be united nor thy will be united as after this comment of mine I'll get many reaction from different kinds of SIKHS ( naamdari - ramgharia - jatt etc ) but no one says I am Guru Nanak's Child or SIKH
