We just had the Australian Census in August 2011, so hopefully the true figure of Sikh population can be determined as the 2006 Census only stated 26,000 Sikhs in Australia which didn't seem right, as the Sikh Council of Australia INC estimates around 100,000 Sikhs in Australia will report back on the results as soon as they are published.
