  1. Why Sikhs and Hindus have common cremation ground ? Is that we both burned our dead . Does Buddhists share cremation ground too ?

Dont you think as a separate Religion and Nation we should have our own cremation ground ? These are small things on which we have to work to set up our separate identity.

How many of u r agree with me.

  2. Shiv Sena

Balasaheb Thackeray's vision (Mr. Bal Thackeray, writing in a sponsored feature in the Indian Express, Mumbai on October 11, 1998)

This is a Hindu nation. Here it is. Just as it was. And just as it will be. Always, and forever.... After 300 long years, the saffron flies again over Maharashtra. The saffron. The symbol of sacrifice. Prepare to welcome the saffron. The march has begun, never to stop. Shiv Sainiks will carry the flag to the East, to the West, to the North and to the South. Everywhere. We will cross the Sahyadris. And we will breach the Himalayas. We will paint the ramparts of the Red Fort in saffron. We must fulfil Chhatrapati Maharaj's dram. We must build the Hindustan of our dreams. It is a historic task we have set out to accomplish. So help us God. Everywhere in the country people are turning to the Shiv Sena. Anywhere you find a sense of insecurity among the Hindus, you will also find the Shiv Sena. For the endangered and the insecure, for the deprived and the depraved (sic), the Shiv Sena is the only hope. The Shiv Sena can never betray the trust reposed by the hopeless millions. The Shiv Sena is not just a political party. It is a tree growing huge, striking its roots into the soil of this land, spreading its vast branches to protect and preserve Hindustan.... It is our Hindustan we have to build. We have to create a Hindustan for Hindus. We have to create a country where Hindus are respected. The country where Hindutva will shine in all its glory. A country where the anti-Hindu shall bow before the will of the Hindu. That is the country we have to build..... Look at our country. Our laws. Our rules. A whole long list of don'ts meant only for Hindus. And who are the ones who are empowered? The Mussalmans. How long are we to tolerate this? How long are we to stand by and watch these antics in the name of religion? How long will those in power fool us? How long can we pretend not to see what goes on in the name of concession to the so-called minorities?... Let us have a little laugh over our peculiar brand of secularism. The microphones blare at us spreading the word of Allah a good five times a day. But no Hindu can dare to play cymbals or beat the prayer drums while he passes the house of Allah. Secularism in our context is but an opportunistic impartiality, which was never intended to be, and therefore never will. It's just another coinage and convenience, a piece of useful jargon. But the intent is deadly. Look under the cover of this impartiality, and you will find an unholy incest between purpose and intent. Opportunism is the prophylactic (sic), but the demon will surely be born. Someday, someday very soon, when the purpose and the intent stand at cross-purposes, the membrane will be torn. And the <banned word filter activated> will be conceived. The monster will be born. And our land will be cursed. Look at the population. The growth in Hindu population is gradually slowing down. But the Mussalman is on a rampage. From 30 million to 130 million! As if he was born only to breed. Somehow, oh, somehow, can we somehow convince them that they are citizens of this country; tell them that their identity is not in danger; their existence is not in danger. I do not call the Mussalman a traitor. But unfortunately for them, their leadership is treacherous. The undoing of the Mussalmans in this subcontinent is the lack of proper leadership. They have not had a single good leader. Neither before, nor after the partition. Leaders of the stature of Maulana Azad and Hamid Dalwai failed to pass on their doctrines. And what we are left with are the likes of Shahbuddin, Bukhari and Banatwala. Tragicomic?..... As I see it, there are only two sects of peoples in our country. One has sworn allegiance to the country. The other is clearly against the country. And as far as I can see it, there has never been any other sect.....For being an Indian, it is not only important to abide by our laws, but it is also important to live as we do, to accept our culture and to respect our traditions. And not only that, one must accept that Hinduism has by far the largest following in this country. This must be remembered. Always. Those who refuse to accept this have no right to live in this country. Those who have all their lives spoken ill of Hindutva are not going to be spared. Embrace this country in its entirety, as Hindustan. Else leave.

Shiv Sena is no longer force to reckon infact it has no roots outside Maharashtra . Their party has been split most young hot heads has joined Maharashtra Navnirman Sena . Raj thackrey is more interested in kicking Biharis and UP people rather then muslims . This party has no future .

  3. So I have a friend who is Hindu. He believes in a certain puratan sant whose organisation is very big in India. My friend was telling me that their swami has sikh followers who come to the mandir and have tilaks etc and their swami told them not to cut their hair.

My question is that, if a sikh man start following someone other than our Guru ji's, then should he fully convert? In my opinion they should, having Sikh saroop and then following Christian church , sants etc gives a wrong impression and serves as an advertisement for the particular belief. What do you guys think?

The problem is that our pracharks dont have balls to openly criticize Santan mat or pakhand thats why our people do this .

  4. Why do you think it would lead to genocide ?!! I don't know what you mean really ! Genocide of sikhs , infact , happened when there was unrest and media potrayed as if entire sikh comm was responsible for it ! why would govt attack its own people for no reason ?

Yes Govt will not attack its own people but Sikhs are not their own people .

Sikhs have their own Flag , National Anthem and Akal Takht what more proof u want that Sikh are separate nation.

  5. We really don't need it !

I speak on behalf of many Indian sikhs ... Majority of Sikhs in India are busy in earning their daily bread and butter and poorer one direct their efforts to become richer .

Besides , there is too much stigma attached to word "Khalistan" itself . The first thoughts that came into mind of many Sikhs in India when they hear the word Khalistan is 1984 and unrest ..

So , in short , in India no one really cares for Khalistan ..

Then prepare for another genocide its coming very soon !

  6. If khalistan is to be made physically on the land of punjab then this decision should be left to Punjabi people ... every one is welcome to contest elections on any issues ... or come settle in punjab and increase your number and then raise voice for khalistan... If more then half people are asking for it no one can stop it... but if 10 % people are asking for it then it cant be made...

And with the attitude of people in favour of khalistan just on this forum one can easily feel they tend to force it on others instead of making people aware to join them they scare them away.

Simran jit singh maan is always contesting elections on Khalistan issue he will again in coming elections in Feb. If he alone wins from Tarn Taran people are in favour of khalistan. If not people of punjab are more concerned about jobs for youth better health conditions better roads etc. Issues Congress and Akali dal uses in elections.

You cant declare some a non sikh if he gives basic needs for survival priority in punjab then khalistan.

How many Jews were for Israel before Israel actually become reality ?

We need to learn from Jews , we should set up relegious center in punjab to spread and to preach that SIKHS ARE SEPARATE NATION ! If Zionist can leave Europe and America to settle down in Israel why cant we ?

Lets start by asking for autonomy and helping Sikhs to settle down in punjab specially from other parts of India .

Write we dont need arm struggle what we need is awareness that we are separate Nation.

  7. Exactly my point ....

And by doing this we are also making hindus go away from sikhs ...

After all , hindus and sikhs are still cousins , same way as muslims and jews are cousins

Another stupid statement from Hindusthani .

Hindus are enemy of Sikhs from day one .

Cheeck out history from Guru Nanak Sahib ji to Khalasthani Movement its Hindus and Hindus who have directly or indirectly attack Sikhs .

Kaligidhar de putar hai asi pakke Khalasthani

    Khalasthani Virsa Sahda Khalasthania rita

Sab te Vahda Khalasthani Gur Nanak Nirankari.

    Gufrbar Akaal !

  8. What kind of signals are you sending by saying this ? Go to India and you can still see many many Amritdharis who feel proud on India and proudly call themselves Indian .

If a person can't be both Indian or sikh , then do you mean all our shaheeds were not sikhs , because they were all born and brought up in India , so they were all Indians .

As per Indian Constitution Sikhism is not a relegion its a sect of Hinduism . How can u called ur self a Indian where ur relegion is not recognized and every day raceist remarks from Hindus .

  9. i also want to know was it opened? i never heard of shaheedi gallery before in akal takht?

I dont know about Shahedi gallery but i saw portrait of Sant Bhindranwale and many Sheeds in Sikh Museum i dont remember its full name though.

What surprises there was that there were photos of shaheed of Punjabi Suba but i never saw photo mentioning Shaheed of Dharam Yudh Morcha.

  10. This does not seem to be born out when one reads gurbani. Gurbani says "Dhur ki bani", that is the word straight from "Dhur" or from God. Guru Arjun Dev Ji says "Joe balavo, Nanak Das boley" - what ever you want me to say, says Nanak, that is what I speak. Meaning that this is the word of God. The Bhagats were in touch with God so their bani is also Dhur-ki. When rain falls it falls on many places, but it is the same rain, in the same way when banni came down from God it fell on the Bhagats and they recited it as such and the Gurus were already one with God so their bani comes straight from the top. This is not just some poetry.

I think we as Sikhs are a little complacent. There are swathes of villages in the punjab that are being targeted by Christians, whole villages are converting over and we sit back and do nothing. What good is success in life if the Sikhs have converted to other faiths who are we going to pass that success on to?

Another thread asked a question posed by Christians that we supposedly cannot answer, of the 100 or so viewings there was one half hearted attempt to answer it. That is how complacent we are.

Which question ? The same u have posted in Sikh Awareness site ?

I have posted a video which prove bible translation was incorrect let see if any one can answer his question on gurbani translation.
