I'm a keshdhari sikh male in my mid twenties.

I have a pretty serious psychological problem. My turban and beard severely upset my mental state. I want to keep my hair but I am wandering if it would be better to go clean shaven.

I am not always like this but when I have a turban on, I feel like women despise me. They give me dirty looks thinking they are better than me, especially these indian women. Its not just a woman thing though. I feel like people are hating on me because of my turban. It makes me so paranoid. I can easily pick up a fight with someone when I get paranoid about my turban as it brings out a rage I cannot control. I was looking at this man the other day just glancing but then he must have thought I was looking at him with an intent to scare him so he looked back at me for ages. I went up to him and faced off for a fight because my paranoia got the worst of me and thought he was hating on me because of my turban and being an indian. I was a few moments away from a punch up but luckily my friend intervened.

I feel I am not healthy enough to be on the streets when I am in this condition. I have just come home now because I flipped out in the car at my dad and sister. They don't know what was bothering me but its the way some posh indian chick looked at me. After that, I was screw facing (staring with an intent to face off) every person on the road and I could feel that i was a moment or two from picking up a fight. Thats why I drove myself home and told my dad and sis to take themselves to where we were going.

Its not a healthy mind state. But I have it less when I wear a patka with my hair tied back. Only issue with that is that I get dirty looks from white people because I kind of look Islamic especially with my beard. I think wearing a turban has psychologically messed me up.

What should I do?

I just made a stupid mistake and i really regret myself for doing this. Well what i did was laugh at a old man in maharaji's parkash i didn't mean to do that i swear it's just i commited a stupid mistake in front of Maharaj and disrepected Maharaj. At first the uncle who was saying something to me laughed i think he said some kinda joke but as a <banned word filter activated> i am laughed sarcasticly to make fun out of him. He was just helping me in a issue regerding nindiya and was helping me but what i did was wrong and i hate myself for doing it also after making fun of the person i went into sach khand(where Maharaj sleeps) and told someone to shut up and they weren't even talking and swore. I don't know what came over me i upset a fellow person who was doing good making fun out of a person who was doing good and worst of all disrespecting Maharaj. The people who actually read this can judge me and say what ever they want and if anyone says that it was a mistake it wasn't a mistake is when you do something by accident but this wasn't. i am appealing to everyone what should i do. This is not a sob story that you see in this forum. I am so worried about this and can't even do anything.

Hi i need alot of guidance to what to do about this problem i have the problem is that i recently shouted at one of the gyani as the gurdwara i didn't mean to be hurtful to him but he got upset he went and told Baba Ji in means that he was a sant. The sant got angry but he didn't day anything when i went to him. So i went to the gyani had said sorry and asked for forgiveness.

Also the thing i did was that the gyani had a mobile in the area where the Guru Grant Sahib sleeps and the gyani was texting someone i shouted but i didn't know i was shouting. As i told you before the sant is very angry with me and i keep on thinking about it. PLEASE REPLY.

It doesn't matter if earthquakes are natural or man made, but there are going to many more earth changes this year all over the world. You need build your spiritual home strong and intact by seeking protection from Waheguru. We need to pray for the whole world. If you live near the coasts to the Pacific Ocean, whether Japan, West coast of America etc, there is going to be a lot activity in pacific. So prepare in advanced. Usually Khalsa Aid never gets involved with these matters, but the thought that Mr Himmat Singh Sohi's party is trying to come back into power is just an unbearable thought.

Even with small teething problems that any new party has coming into office we believe that the Shere Party (Malhi) has made huge improvements in many areas.

In addition to the increase of Sikhi Parchaar which has seen a big increase in young Sikhs discovering their roots and heritage, they have been very active in the community to support local sports and martial arts clubs to get our kids of the streets.

Furthermore, the Baaj party has openly made clear its affiliations and loyalties which sadly means that social problems in the land all Sikhs call home (Punjab) will never be discussed. Baaj party as shown in their previous reign that they will never educate the Sangat about important Panthic issues such as Human Rights Abuses, Corruption, Rampant Drug Abuse etc.

In the past two years of the Shere Party there has been inspiring Exhibitions, seminars and talks about issues such as these and we fear there will be a clampdown if Baaj party was to return.

Saving millions of the sangats money the Shere party has shown diligence and professionalism, whereas Mr Sohi has just returned from the Courts having sued the Gurughar for approx £500,000.00 in costs. It is sad at a time when poverty is strife in Punjab that Mr Sohi felt it was value for the Gurus money just for him to eligible to be a Pardhaan again.

We appeal to everyone to support the good work of Shere party who we will believe will continue to improve their seva, and keep working for the Sangat rather than foreign agencies.
