there was alot of racism from the police 70s/80s, West Indian black youth probably suffered the most, blacks felt oppressed and used to call them "the bablion" today i wouldn't call it racism, with the police they treat middle class students who riot rather tamely, compare this to the policing of a football match where most of the people are working class. I wouldn't call them racist, but old bill I would call scum and flith in certain situations, this is one .they're heavy handed with a lot of people including people who protest against islamfication of Britain and supporters at football grounds.
