  1. You can't cross the sea, merely by just standing and staring at the water. In a similar way, if we want to reach Him, we have to do His bhajan bandagee.
  2. First of all, Wahiguru for sure will listen to your Ardaas. What makes you doubt? He has not turned deaf suddenly. Then, do not be under that braham, that, Wahiguru will listen to your uncle and turn His face away from you. If it was so, then your uncle is not at all connected to Wahiguru, rather to his own manmukhta, and neither that entity being worshiped is Wahiguru. Wahiguru can never be instigagted, for He is Dayal Purukh, an infinite Ocean of Daya Meher, and He knows nothing more than loving, forgiving and blessing, that is His True nature, fortunately for us jeevas. Hold on to Him alone, forget the world, the world wil always try to put us down. And holding on to Him, does not mean, big empty words, but just to sit in doing regularly His Bhajan Bandagee, this protocole is the way to ask/beg from Him, and also receive from Him. Sat Sree Akal.
  3. Brother Guest Lost Singh Jee, please keep in mind, if Kalyug is taking over you, it is only, because you are willingly allowing it to control you. Kayug is not something which comes surprisingly and one is not aware of it, and when one comes to know about it, it is late. It is like, someone with the eyes closed is embraced to a tree, and shouting help, help, the tree is binding me .....and then a passerby seeing the scene, tells him, o good man, open your eyes and let off your arms around the tree, it is you who is holding the tree, not otherwise... Funny, isn´t it? Maybe. But, that is our condition. I am sure if we had that love and pull towards Guru Jee, no alarm clocks are needed. When a lover is willing to see or meet his/her beloved, no watch reminder/time looking is needed, it automatically attracts us to our beloved, even before time, nobody has to remind us to go and meet our beloved one. The same is with Wahiguru. If we loved Him as much as little, as we love, or like, our worldly relations, then even that would be enough. Telling you all this, my intention is not to make you feel guilty, but rather to make you aware of, that you have a enormous potential of the wealth of love and sharda for Wahiguru within you, take it, use it, and become spiritually dhanvaant/rich. Now your esteem is low, to regain confidence, take one step at a time and move forward confidently, do not rush to change drastically the situation, because then nothing will happen. When you see kaam approaching you, face it bravely, and give it a hard punch on its face immediately, to knock out it, do not wait to be attacked, otherwise it will defeat you. You have to keep an eye on this wicked vikar, along with that, do ardaas, do bhajan bandagee regularly, keep the company of healthy noble surroundings of gursikhs, that will help you learn to walk again on the path of sikhee. Also keep in mind, you are a sikh of Sachay Patshah, (while kaam is a servant of Kaal), and as such, you have the weapon of His Naam Simran to defeat any such enemy vikaar. You just have to exercise with it regularly, then though you may not be aware, but these dusht vikaars will not attack you, for they know, if they even dare coming closer to you, they will be smashed, with that your weapon of Naam. God bless you. Sat Sree Akal.
  4. Saint Buddha When you move your focus from competition to contribution Life becomes a celebration. Never try to defeat people, just win their hearts.
  5. Pen Jee, after God, parents are the best well wishers of their children, of course, there are exceptions as in almost any fields, but here it is being to the general rule. Parents love their children the most, even if the child is naughty. Look at Mahabharata, Dhritrashtra the blind king, had a blind love for all his wicked sons, specially the eldest and the most wicked, Duryodhan. That too, knowing how adharmee he was, that is moh of course, but I was just trying to bring out, the love, the paernts have usually for their children, that´s it, rest is all a settlement and a remake of karmas between individuals. Pen Jee, no, I do not make none of these articles, I mean to say, I am not the author of any of these pretty knowledegeable pieces. I do get them here or there, and I do select those which touch my inner being, and then just feel like sharing them. I receive the football freely, and freely I pass the ball, it just depends, if you enjoy the game and participate willingly, or let the ball pass by. When a writer writes a book, and that book maybe read by millions, but the writer never expects to get replies from his readers, he just wants to share, his points of views, his experiences, or even his fantasies....
  6. Devotion, the means for purification Satgur sayv sarab fal paa-ay. Serving the True Guru, all fruits and rewards are obtained. Janam janam kee mail mitaa-ay. The filth of so many lifetimes is washed away. Patit paavan parabh tayro Naa-o. Your Name, God, is the Purifier of sinners. Raag Bhairao, Dhan Dhan satguru Arjun dev Maharaj Dhan Dhan Satguru Arjun Dev Maharaj tells us in His paviter Bani above, that serving the Guru, all our miseries come to an end. Now what is that true sewa of the Guru? True sewa of the Guru, is to follow faithfully and implicitly His teachings. The Guru does not want anything from us, He is already "bharpoor" with the Dhan of Naam. The only thing He expects and wants from us, is our liberation from the nashavant creation, and to reunite us with Akal Purukh. And that is only possible, when we do the right bhakti/sewa, because the only barriers between us and Him, are our akhoot bhandaar of karmas, gathered in countless lives, and continue gathering them still... That is why in His 2nd verse above, He says, by serving the Guru, our countless karmas in countless lives are wiped away. So, how are our karmas wiped away? In His 3rd verse above, He says: Patit pavan Prabh tera Naao. This means, the only purifier of any amount of our karmas and mind, are not any of the outer karam kaand, neither worshipping gods, devis, devtays, neither recitations, jap, tap, poojas, pilgrimages, bathing at so called sacred waters, etc, etc, etc ... but, by only engaging ourselves in the bhakti of the Simran of His Naam, which is the right devotion/bhakti as per Gurmat *Wah wah Sachay Patshah Arjun Dev Maharaj. Sat Sree Akal.
  7. A tale of lovers One who loves with eyes closed, is a Lover. One who loves with eyes open, is a Friend. One who loves with eyes staring, is a Spouse. One who loves till you close your eyes, is a Mother. One who loves without an expression in the eyes, is a Father. Mother - Introduces you to the world. Father - Introduces the world to you. Mother : Gives you life Father : Gives you living Mother : Makes sure you are not starving. Father : Makes sure you know the value of starving Mother : Personifies Care Father: Personifies Responsibility Mother : Protects you from a fall Father : Teaches you to get up from a fall. Mother : Teaches you walking. Father : Teaches you walk of life Mother : Teaches from her own experiences. Father : Teaches you to learn from your own experiences. Mother : Reflects Ideology Father : Reflects Reality Mother's love is known to you since birth. Father's love is known when you become a Father. Enjoy what your father says. Keep loving your mother.
You shall be drowned, along with your family, if you do not meditate on the Lord, you unfortunate person. Raag Maaroo, Bhagat Sree Kabir Jeeo Bhagat Sree Kabir Jee, tells us in his verse above, that if we not devote ourselves by meditating on Him, then, we are the most unfortunate persons, thus we shall be drowned in the wheel of 84, means in the unending cycle of births and deaths. For Kabir Sahib, being fortunate, is not having a beautiful spouse, children, wealth, properties, etc...but, that jeev atma, who has intense love for Wahiguru, and manifests that love, by meditating on Him, through His Naam. He clearly says, salvation is not obtained by any rituals, or any such supposed religious practices, which, we under braham, commonly believe that they take us nearer to Him; but the fact is, we do not move even an inch towards Him, rather get farther from Him, and loose this golden opportunity of human birth, for reuniting our atmas with Him, by doing the only devotion of His Simran, as per Bani. Sat Sree Akal.
  9. HIS GLANCE OF MEHER ਨਾਨਕ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇ ਸੋ ਬੂਝੈ ਸੋ ਜਨੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਏ Naanak Nadhar Karae So Boojhai So Jan Naam Dhhiaaeae नानक नदरि करे सो बूझै सो जनु नामु धिआए O Nanak, that mortal who is blessed with the Lord's Glance of Grace, understands Him; that humble servant meditates on the Naam, the Name of the Lord. Raag Suhi Dhan Dhan Satguru Ram Das Maharaj. To those egoistic fools, who think they know and understand everything, and all others are wrong, and those who get surprisingly upset when ever they hear any mahima of Naam, Guru Jee tells us in the above verse; what can those silly poor chaps do, because only those who are blessed with His glance of Meher, know and understand the real value and importance of Naam, thus their humble worship of Wahiguru, is through the meditation on His Naam. Sat Sree Akal.
  10. ARDAAS Satguru Jee has deposited Love, Sewa, Sukh, Sarbat da bhala and every blessing for you in your ATM account within you, use it without limit. The PIN code is : ARDAAS. Sat Sree Akal.
  11. That is because our present condition is that of waves, as in being up and down, we are not constant nor firm in our Bhakti. If we had hold firmly on His Naam, then Pen Jee, then no mental earthquakes nor tsunamis can ever shake us, We can be up and down, but He does not waver, He is always an anchor, it is for us to cling on His Naam. Once we sit in the jahaaz of His Naam, which power can tremble or shake us? Absolutely none. We are surrounded and wraped by His Kirpa. Sat Sree Akal.
  12. Thank you Simran Pen Jee for posting all these lovely keertans. Each one is better than the other. It is like when a child enters a sweetmart, and knows not what to do, as the child likes all the sweets in that store. Thank you jee.
  13. Pen Jee, I see no diference in what you say, and what maturity is defined by Buddhist Lamas above, for what they mean to say is, nobody is right or wrong from a higher point of view, for all are puppets moving under His Hukum, it is all His khel. Sat Sree Akal.
  14. In addition to the post above, I would like to present here the following divine sat bachans in Raag Asa of Dhan Dhan Satguru Amar Das Maharaj: "ਆਪਣੈ ਹਥਿ ਵਡਿਆਈਆ ਦੇ ਨਾਮੇ ਲਾਏ Apanai Hathh Vaddiaeea Dhae Namae Laeae आपणै हथि वडिआईआ दे नामे लाए Glory is in His Hands; He bestows His Name, and attaches us to it." You see, here He is telling us that we do the Bhakti of His Simran, when He creates that desire in us, then only we can repeat His paviter Naam. It is not at all by our merits, or efforts, that we even think about Him. It is all His kirpa. Having said that, this does not mean, we can say: oh only when He wants me to meditate on Him, shall I succeed in doing it, so as I do not derive any liking in doing it, I shall leave it and do some other substitute activities... This is all the play of mind, who just wants excuses in not doing the real thing of our lives, which is rememebering Him through His Simran. It is o.k, if we have not yet that His grace of doing the right bhakti, but, we also know through Guru Sahiban, He is an Infinte Ocean of love and mercy. We are told, He is the bestower of all comforts, everything is in His hands, so why not start knocking at His door to ask a boond of His apaar kirpa. So, what is that knocking at His door? It is sitting in doing His Bhajan Bandagee, even if our minds do not accompany us, and tell Him, Sachay Patshah, I know I am unfit to repeat your Holy Name, but nevertheless, I place myself at your Lotus Feet, and I have heard Your Name ferries across even the stones, so in that hope, knowing myself as being unworthy and a a heavy sinner, so listen to my benti and please shower me with your Gurparsad whenever You think fit, for I am not going to move from Your door, hey Sachay Patshah. Sat Sree Akal.
  15. Usernametaken Pen Jee, when you say you have no desire to do simran or saas saas simran, do you know who is saying this? It is your mind who does not want to do it and find all types of excuses. Usually when one is sick, one does not want to take the medicines because they maybe bitter, but, one has no options, if one really wants to recover from the germs or virus which are the cause of our sickness. One follows the prescribed medicines by the doctor at regular intervals, only then one is cured. We are also sick, we have lost our health, freedom, happiness ...since aeons, since we left our True Father Wahiguru´s house. The mind has been running after maya since then, so naturally it feels suffocated and does not get the taste of Naam, due to being severly attacked by the germs of vikars and maya. But nevertheless, that Wahiguru´s Naam is the real medicine to get cured. Do not worry if you are dry or not feel any motivation in doing it, you just do it, It will go inside and work wonders, just do it and see. You may have apparently lost your love, devotion, desire in doing Bhakti, but thank god, you have not lost your sense of understanding/comphrension. And you know, what the Bani says about the Bhakti of the simran of Naam, just go through Sukhmani Sahib in its starting ANGS.... You see, we are all heavy sinners, we by ourselves will never feel His missing, understand His wadeeayee, His kirpa, and we have nothing to give Him, which He has not already. But there is one thing which you can surely give Him, and that thing which He appreciates it the most, is your time spent in His rememberance. He has not asked us for results, so do not worry. as we are all failures. And He knows that, that is why He does ask us any difficult things, but just our time, like a child who spends his/her time with the Father. We may not see Him, but He is surely watching us, how we spend some time for him in His rememberance, for Him only. And when one does that regularly, what happens then? We invoke His Kirpa on us, which fills us with His blessings, and turn ourselves out from a dry land into a green meadow. This is the secret in spirituality, His apaar Kirpa. We must remain as kookars at His door at all times; when He Kul Malik, thinks it fit, He will open the door and let us in. But what a pity, if ever He opens His door, and by bad luck of ours, we are not there, because we got tired and got up and went away. No no no, that is not the right attiude. If we feel empty, then it is only He who can fill our jholees, but for that, we have to be there, and to be there, we have to stay in His remeberance each and everyday, at His sharan, through His Simran. So never ever say, I have no desire; as desires arise in the mind, and mind is untruth. The soul/jeev atma, is the sikh of the Guru/Wahiguru, and as such, entertains no desires, except that of pleasing the Beloved through Bhakti as its true nature. This is sikhee in a nuthell, as per Gurmat. God bless you. Sat Sree Akal.
  16. To the OP: From several answers on the topic of this thread, I found the below explanation / answer, the most reliable and satisfactory, given by an anonymous writer: "Many people learn how to meditate and after a long period of meditation will experience rhythmical shaking or vibrations of the body. What causes those vibrations after a prolonged or intense meditation session? There's lots of possible explanations -- you have to see the person to know which one of the possible explanations is it. Most people assume it's something high stage (out of egoity and pride) or out of ignorance or worry, most people misinterpret what's going on. Few people are introspective enough to to discern the actual cause of these phenomena. If they are really making progress, sometimes people will start to feel the chi inside the body start to move and clear out the chi channels because of meditation. That often explains sensations of vibration or heat around the coccyx bone. After they learn how to meditate, some people, who are sick, will often feel the chi rolling around in their internal organs that are diseased, attempting to initiate the healing function. If the lungs and kidneys are weak people usually feel the chi rolling on the left and right sides of the body. People with stomach and GI problems often feel the chi rolling around the abdomen. Those with liver or heart problems often feel the chi blocked in the chest. Of course, these are just general indications and it's something Chinese medicine is easy to handle. But when the whole body starts to shake, and the whole body seems to jump and the the limbs move, a person might naturally assume the positions of yoga or Tai Chi Chuan. Many consider this something mystical and wonderful and invent all sorts of explanations. In China's past, many people practiced the martial arts form "divine boxing" because this phenomenon occurred in meditation. Another offshoot was the practice of "tumbling cloud" kung-fu. Those who kept amplifying the results in this way experienced harmful effects. Even if you assume yogic poses, you have to hold the pose with relaxation and mental emptiness for the chi and body to unwind; you cannot hop from one pose to the next and hope this does anything for you. Actually, the external vibration and shaking phenomena is one-half mystical and one-half psychological in origins. There is a definite wind chi or energy component to the problem, and a definite causality due to self-suggestion. As can be seen in the case studies from How to Measure and Deepen Your Spiritual Realization, many times people invent various scenarios in their mind which they work out or express through meditation gong-fu without knowing it consciously. In this case, the people who experience this shaking are trying to unwind because they have too much nervous tension, but they don't even recognize it . Now that their mind is stilled, their body and chi has a chance to unwind. This subconscious nervous tension most often causes the trembling of nerves and muscles. Then the hint of those subconscious influences enter the conscious mind where they are amplified and the tremors, trembling and vibrations become enhanced. A person can then start to shake and move their limbs about in a regular pattern, even assuming yoga positions or dance-like movements. It's usually the case that ordinary people cannot determine the real cause behind these trembling sensations. Some fear it's a sign from God. Others fear it's the work of the devil. Some think it's something mystical from a past life or that yoga was invented this way. Others believe they have developed divine powers or that their chi channels are opening and they indulge in these things, amplifying them even more. Not only are all these wrong, but the worst case is when someone stops their meditation because of these results. All it's showing is pent-up stress, NERVOUS TENSION and psychological auto-suggestion that amplifies this problem as it's finding an outlet. The real problems come when people over-indulge in these things and try to turn them into something mystical, as happens in religious cults. When this sort of shaking occurs, the real chi of the body CANNOT enter in the front and back, tu-mai and jen-mai chi channels because it's preoccupied with circulation amidst the shaking limbs, ligaments and muscles. So does that mean it's wrong? No. It's just happening as a form of release, and if you are cultivating your mind and body to a state of health, let it go, let it unwind as a natural outlet to dissipate nervous tension. You should quiet your mind and relax, elevating yourself above this level of phenomena, so as to enter a state of mental quietude. Don't think it's anything unusual except REAL proof you DO need meditation. Don't amplify the phenomena but try to enter a deeper state of quietude, forget the body, and the nervous tension will subside and leave for good after a few times. That's what you want." Sat Sree Akal.

Life unfolds so many misunderstandings each day. It is up to us to Solve It, Leave It or Live With It.... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All the problems are stuck between Mind & "Matter If u don't "Mind, It doesn't matter
  20. Blessings We are blessed and we have blessings to give. Count your blessings and give blessings. Blessings are thoughts filled with great love and kindness, and they can travel long distances. So generously and freely give blessings. Give blessings to people you love, as well as to people you don't get along with. Give blessings and the blessings come through you first, so you become blessed in the process. Bless and be blessed
  21. Sometomes I just wonder how people cam be narrow minded. The fact is that universal Truth is Wahiguru, but how due to agyanta each and everyone tries to monopolize Him. It is just like the air we breathe. If we can not control it, how people think that, that primal Truth can be their only, just as a copyright. It is this very agyanta which creates hatred, wars and unjustice... That too in the name of god? How foolish. Wahhiguru, Naam or Shabad is a level of consciusness, a supreme power or energy, and it is nameless... All names given to Him, are given by people in different languages, and He is above all this pettiness We have to leave behind all our senses, and organs, even mind, in order to reach His realms and merge in Him, just as second Patshahee tells us in His paviter Bani. This is universal Truth by Guru Sahiban. Sat Sree Akal.
