  1. Dear Singh135,

These sort of songs just fuel the fire really, like ducussed within the posts it fills the demand for the people who buy into caste supremacy wars. But whenever they associate sikhi within these songs, we should all show our condemnation.

    WJKK WJKF

its no enough to ask Sikhi not be associated with it. Caste discrimination should be tackled on all levels.

What a retarded thing to be proud of if you think about it.. proud that your great grandfather was a carpenter or farmer?

Not exactly the engineer/doctor/lawyer that todays castist parents want? why arent they encouraging their children to buy some land and be a farmer...if thats not what they want..then why hold onto the caste of it! haha

  2. Brother, I have no problem with Bhangra, my problem is with the lyrics of castes in bhangra songs at the same time showing a visual of the khalsa? My issue is with these people who are contradicting themselves by singing dharmic geet straight after. I remember Shiri Guru Hargobind Singh ji everyday, I understand why the dhadi jatha was started, so sing the sakhi's of our shaheed babeh and bibian, inspiring the sikhs! How can you compare that, to todays caste based bhangra songs? Theres no comparison. The perspective that should be kept in mind is sikhi has no caste.

  4. The Sikh Defenders not only faced the entire Indian establishment with its enormous military and intelligence resources but also the Congress, BJP/RSS, Corrupt Akalis, Nirankaris, various sects with their self styled Gurus, Santa Singh and some of the Buddha Dal and Foreign Govt resources also. The Singhs were the bravest of the brave. The Panth salutes them.

Not only that they faced the combined might of an international enemy with the guidance of the worlds special forces

    Dhan dhan Kalgidhar de shere

  5. Amazing how a Gurus Sikh remains steadfast in the maelstrom of scheming and plotting around him. Only his conviction and faith is shedding the cold light of truth on the dirty tactics of politicians around him.

More than a month has passed and it is clear that governments talk of parole etc has been appeasement strategy thinking the fuss will pass but still Singhs in prison and this fasting Gursikh is metaphorically picking up the fallen dastar of the kaum and shaking it awake again. Dhan dham SatGur ki Shere
