As part of the 550th Prakash Utsav of Guru Nanak, I request Sikh Sangat to share the  revolutionary messages given by Guru Nanak on this forum. These can be used to educate people from other religions and communities about Guru Nanak's glory. 

For example, how he liberated his followers from the shackles of blind faith in empty rituals like fasting, escaping to jungles and gave inspiration to find God while leading a family life. 

Quotes from His bani with English translation would be most welcome. 

If someone can share a power point presentation about this, I would be extremely grateful.

Exactly and not caste based leaders as suggested by few. The problem is there is no one at present who can be our leader. This lack of able leadership is proving very dangerous for our Panth.

Because India's record of extrajudicial killings and rapes will be exposed to the world. At the moment they maintain it being an "internal matter" so they don't have to be exposed.

 

Also there is the very strong possibility that india will be deemed to denying the Kashmeris their right to self-determination which is upheld in the Basic Charter of Human Rights as enshrined in the UN.

 

I didn't read anything else after this line in your post. Next you will say that Aurangzeb treated Guru Tegh Bahahadur Ji with respect and Wazir Khan treated Sahibzadas with respect.

Pakistan has been waging a proxy war against India in Kashmir as it has no chance of victory by waging a conventional war.

Even during the Kargil conflict Pakistan lied about freedom fighters having entered Indian side of LOC. Later on Pakistan had to publicly admit it is a terrorist state when it was proven that it was their army which had infiltrated the borders.

The humiliating defeat Pakistan suffered is something they can never forget.

Our bravehearts gave the ultimate sacrifice to win this war and all previous wars against Pakistan.

The biggest moral and military support to terrorists comes from Indian govt, supporting their forces there. Not only there but in north-east india, where the indian army carried out mass rapes to demoralise the rebels there. What does killing civilians help with? How does raping thousands of women help the indian govt and India?

 

 

 

 

They were not fighting for 70 years. They only started fighting when Pakistan started meddling in  there to revenge the making of Bangladesh.

Great step taken by Modi to finally resolve the Kashmir issue by scrapping Article 370. Hope this brings peace to this area and ends the killing of so many innocent lives. Pakistan has to behave now and stop interfering and stop providing moral and military support to the terrorists.

Really. When you don't know the facts don't talk. He attacked the cop with his kirpan and opened his scalp.

The Sikh Sangat of Delhi have handled the situation very sensibly. They have prevented serious charges to be laid against the Sikh who used his kirpan to inflict injuries on a cop. They have also got the Police not to lay charges on number of hot headed Sikh youth who assaulted cops after the incident and damaged public property. The greatest success they have achieved is to get a  FIR lodged against the errant cops who beat the Sikh and his son.

How come Sikh tycoons can find 500 million to fund Gurudwarae but cannot find funds to help the poor in Punjab or help the Shaheedi families or help with parchaar. 

We don't have a money problem in our community it seems, we just allocate those resources in an extremely inefficient manner. 

Exactly. No one cares for the downtrodden Sikhs in India.
