There is a lot written about Mansoor and his shaheedi in both nirmala and sevapanthi books. Alot of this came in at the time of Bhai Addanshah

It is true that the books, audio and videos by Sant Waryam Singh Ji are a treasure. During Sant jis life he recorded over 1100 divans of their precious discourses.
It is because of them i try to follow suit, i remember them say, record everything, supply it on the internet so all can read so for that reason i do what i was tasked to do however it pains me when we look at forums such as this from all over the world we have sikhs who quite simply can not be bothered to record their local katha and keertan and post it on the net or set up blogs to share something. I wish people would take Sant Waryam Singh ji as the inspiration i did and collect as much media as possible and make it available to the internet, local media, radio stations etc so the next generation or next individual will never have to struggle to understand such minor discussions which appear on the forum

Added so far today is a Katha video by Baba Baljeet Singh Ji Dadu Walae from the Sant Samagam in 2010 in Leicester UK. Also being added at the moment are a number of Videos of Divans by Baba Baljinder Singh Ji Rara Sahib Walae so please be patient as they are uploading and will take some time.

That is fine i understand what you are saying about having darshan of the Guru and make that of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. I have no issue with that, however if you are to close your eyes and focus in your mind i am sure you can picture Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. This in itself is Charittar Darshan and is the same as anyone adopting a sargun forms. The Sikhs of the Gurus during the period of 1469 - 1708 all adopted the form of the Guru in their heart, When the Surti becomes stable and Brahm replaces all then all you see is the isht in the form of the Charittar that was adopted in your heart, an example of this in Sikhi is Bhai Ghanaiya Ji.
This in no way forms or follows any sort of Idol worship.
If you believe it to be Idol woship then can i please ask how you think this fits into the idol worship. (I'm not having a go, just trying to clarify on what points you define idol worship)

After numerous requests that have been made via different frums today whilst the kids were at school i got the chance to digitise this book. Sri Gur Sobha by Dr Ganda Singh is a written account of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji's life as seen by the court poet Kavi Sainapati. please take some time to read though this text and realise some very interesting facts that i found through this.

Added today a book by Giani Preetam Singh Ji Damdami Taksal Walae called 'Alankar'. These are actually the writings of Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji Bhindrawalae which many poeple have been after for some time. Belive me this is well worth taking your time out and reading.

The whole reason for the adoption of the Charittars is so when you do have darshan your isht will adopt a form that pleases you, take a look at the lives of the bhagats namely Bhagat Dhanna and Namdev, Waheguru adopted the sargun forms that mentally and physically pleased them. You can also see examples of this through the life of Mira Bhai and many others.

I have got a great bit of Katha on this by Giani Gurdev Singh Tarsika walae, he states there are four types of Darshan but other people vary due to the vies on Vedant or Nyai.
The four are;
Chittar Darshan - of a sargun form through a representation
Supan Darshan - where the isht gives darshan through a dream although it is not a dream!!!!
Anbhuv Darshan - where you can feel your isht ang sang.
Partakh Darshan - where you can see the isht with your brahm drishti
