I just got a call, baba Ji have just arrived in Leicester adn will be doing katha at Guru Nanak Gurdwara, 9 holy Bones Leicester between 1900 houra and 2000 hours tonight.

Good Kathakaar, i think his links are actually with the AKJ, the Katha is fully of prem and he has recently been doing katha at Gurdwara Dukhnivaran in Ludhiana.
Will put some of Bhai Sahibs katha up soon

I have got access to around 400 - 500 books in english about sikhi. I will slowly be posting them on the site over the next year but will update on this thread what has gone up. Alot of the english books that are up are rare digitized prints by microsoft and are really good for research and scholars. check them out

Sant Amir Singh Ji passed away along time before any recordings were started,. The earliest recorded katha is Giani Maan Singh Jhaur and Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji's and even at that time Sant Amir Singh Ji had passed away and Sant Kirpal Singh Ji occupied the seat in succession

Bhai Bala Narrates the Janamsakhi and is in it.
Bhai Mani Singh Ji's Janam Sakhi has Bhai Bala ji in it. You would have though Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji would have told Sikhs if Bhai Bala Ji existed.
Baba Meharbaan and Bhai Chatarbhuj's Janamsakhis of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji have Bhai Bala In them.
Janam Sakhib Baba Nanak Shah has Bhai Bala in it.
Sri Nanak Parkash has Bhai Bala in it
Bhai Bala Ji's Samadh is at Gurdwara Sri Khadoor Sahib which was established by Guru Angad Dev Ji.
There are lots of fors and against. Alot of people make such a mentions as to the works of Bhai Gurdas Not having his name within it. Depends who is translating them as Bhai Vir Singh and Bhai Hazara Singh mention Bhai Bala Ji. Just because Bhai Bala Ji might not be mentioned in the vaars does not make him a mythical person. Bhai Sahib did not cover certain events or things or contain the names of every individual linked to th Gurus.

Just a quick message, Sant Avtar Singh Ji Badhni Kalan Walae (the grandson of Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji Bhindrawalae) are in the UK doing some awesome katha. They are in Leicester until the 17th of April 2011. Then they will be doing Katha in Southall and Smethwick. Benti to all the sangat take some time and like to the amrit hari katha.
