"Is there any point in learning the meanings of gurbani? because the word comes to life and starts to talk to you? "
Off course you should learn the meanings. The meanings you have or believe to have been revealed to you may be wrong. An emaple Socia Soch Na Hovai Je Sochee Lakh Vaar. Implying through ritual bathing and cleaning one does not attain the Lord. Someone with their minor intellect may think what is the purpose of Ishnaan is has no relevance on the revealing of the Lord. The next step would be to state you regard Isnhaan and Bramanvaad like many ohter things in the panth.
The last person to have said their is no reason to learn them as they meanings are revealed was Gurmeet Ram Rahim who read , "Sant Saajan Bhae Sarsay" and implied that he was this great saint who lived at the Sirsa!

Sant Samaj is another name of the Sant Mandali. The society of the Saints. The Sant Samaj is not a group or a fraction like a political party so it is not through votes but through reaching an elevated internal inner spiritual state

Sri Guru Arjan Dev Jis Shaheedi was documented by the Portuguese. Sarmads was documented by the british, the Moghuls documented the 9th Patshah and his Sikhs. Dastiban mentions the Shahidis of the 6th Gurus Sikhs in battle. The Kavis of Guru Gobind Singh Ji documented alot about shahidi (check Darbari Rattan) after that the British and Sikhs documented everything up til the present day

Gurfateh Singh, the reason for the read only is because people just download everything but do nto spend any time after that reading the vast amount of literature on the net so i employed the same decision taken on by Punjab digital library. If the individual actually sees the priceless value in the article/books/manscripts then they will devote their time to read them. For this reason i have left them as read only. Sorry
If you are interested in any of the documents put up please email me
