Are you still watching cricket? What is it about cricket that you find addictive ?
It's the third or fourth most popular sport in UK. Probably because there is less open space here and the weather is worse, that limits how much kids can play it.
Soccer is by far the most popular. Rugby is second.
Do you watch all types of cricket? What do you think of T20?
I hv started to watch less cricket lately but I do keep an eye on the scores.
There are so many dimensions in cricket.
Fielding
Batting: defense, attack
Bowling: fast, spin, leg spin....
God's creation is beautiful. Sports are part of that creation. Cricket is a beautiful sport.....

Really ? I assumed they were always separate from Sikhs, with little overlap. What about jaats in Rajasthan and HP ?
Jaats in Rajasthan and western UP are similar with same gotras as haryana jaats.

Don't forget the North Indians have that different nature in their blood probably because of all the battles/wars/hostility they've faced over the centuries.
I would have doubted that any Hindus anywhere in India are 'hardcore non-veg' people - even you cannot say this about Punjabis.
Yes, the South Indians I've met are different from Northern Indians, they are calmer and more polite. They have heavy emphasis on education and I think Kerala had/has 100% literacy. @shastarSinghcan tell us more
Yes they put heavy emphasis on education.

Some will say it's shardhai.
Shardhai is not green.
Only shaheedi degh is green due to green cannabis leaves.

I think he was anti raagmala as well though
Bhai Kahn Singh nabha wrote against Gobind Gita and called it to be rachna of court poet krishan Lal.

Yes, they are told to have separate entrance to Gurdware (or separate Gurdware) because jatts don't want to share with them - been told by my elders.
@shastarSingh - can you tell us why are these Haryanvis getting into Sikhi ? Were their family Sikh once? Was it inspiration from the Kisaan morcha ?Is it just jaats or is it also other Haryanvis ?
Haryanvi jaats were sort of sehajdhari Sikhs and used Kaur and Singh as surnames. They also used to do jathera which is sort of ancestral worship. They became hinduized due to arya samaj.
Kisan andolan has played a big part in jaats becoming sikhs.
Gujjars can also become Sikhs if we do parchar on them.

Do Nihang Dals even support Khalistan? I know the current head of Taruna Dal fought in Operation Blue Star and individual nihangs helped Kharkus against Santa Singh’s wishes.
I am not affiliated with any nihang dal. But in last few years of my life I have met quite a few jeevan wale Nihang Singhs. All of them hv great respect for Sant Bhindranwale.
All of them believe in Khalsa Raaj all over the world which automatically includes present day Punjab.

Nihang baba Joginder Singh ji Raqbe vale has done massive upliftment of the image of Nihangs as a panthic organization.
Nihang baba raja raj Singh arbaan kharbaan vale has done great work in kisan andolan and are involved in sikhi parchar in haryana.
Strengthening of nihang dals is a very good sign for Khalsa panth.

why I love cricket so much?
in WHAT'S HAPPENING?

Cricket has become very popular in punjab.
Sadly parents in India put too much pressure on their kids to become doctors and engineers and not sportsmen.
