You get a lot of muslims defending it to this very day saying that it is more humane than what sweatshop workers go through. That's how warped muslim thinking is, they try to justify slavery in this day and age.

islam has lots of problems in it.

Some people ask question that stock market is doing ok so economy is ok too.
Money given to rich people by governments or central banks is not being used to create employment or to produce goods and services. Instead large amount of money is being put into the stock market. So stocks r doing ok but ground economy is worsening every single day.
