  1. @ topic - could be one or more reasons from the list below-

    1. They don't have enough knowledge about the depth of their own religion

    2. Upbringing

    3. TV - movies etc going crazy after actors, want to be with someone like them

    4. Muslim boys take advantage of their religious ignorance, and girls have no answers to their comments, queiries etc, hence end up thinking Islam is best religion.

    5. These girls have no brain, bad karams.

    6. No spiritualism

    7. May be kala jaadu stuff :)

    8. Muslim guys talk and judge the innocence level of the girls, the girls who had never talked to any guy in her life will think wow he's intersted in me, nobody ever talked to me like this bla bla, which is ridiculous (now I am not sating that girls should have BFs) - lack of self-confidence could be the reason for this.

    9. Lack of good sangat

I don't think lust plays any role, lust doesn't look at religion.

  2. ^^^^coat and pant doesn't always have to be of the same colour. I think coffee coat and pant both together will look a little overwhelming.

You can have dark coffee pant, dark coffee turban & tie or scarf and (creamish shirt)

blazer/coat colour as attached photo. This is very decent & rare colour combination and one of the best.

Light blazer balances the whole look.

  3. This video I found seems to refute the sakhi that Guru Arjan Dev Ji went to his Nanake in Lahore (see from 4:37 minutes in) and that Guru Arjan Dev Ji wrote the last line upon returning to Guru Ram Das Ji because Guru Arjan Dev Ji wasn't Guru at that time, Guru Ram Das Ji was. So therefore Guru Arjan Dev Ji had could not have used Guru Nanak Dev Ji's name because he wasn't the Guru. Only Guru Ramdas had the authority to use Guru Nanak Dev Ji;s name at that time, until the Gurgaddi was passed onto Guru Arjan Dev Ji. Also Professor Sahib Singh Ji's darpan of Guru Granth Sahib Ji states that the sakhi seems to be fictional.

Please can someone elaborate and clear my confusion. For instance is there a Gurdwara in Lahore where these letters were sent from?

    Bhul Chuk Maaf.

I vaguely remember Giani Thakur Singh ji clarifying the use of "Nanak" pad in the last para of the bani, that upon Guru Arjan dev ji's return, Guru Ramdas ji gave him gurgaddi and then 5th Guru sahib uttered the last para of bani.

Bhul chuk maaf, someone from sangat might enlighten us more.

  4. Anand Sahib Uthanka:-

A jogi aged 1000 years came to Guru Amardas ji at Goindwal and did benti that he could not attain "anand" after going through so much of tapaseya. Please bless me with the daat of "anand". Guru sahib asked him to take birth as his grandson, as Baba Mohri ji's son as his age was too much now, then you'll be blessed with anand. So Jogi surrendering himself to Guru sahib's bachans left his body and took birth as Guru sahib's grandson. When the new born child was placed in Guru sahib's lap, Guru sahib did bachans " aa gaye anand ji, anand lain vaste" . Guru sahib started uttering "Anand sahib" path and named the child as "Anand". Guru sahib asked sangat to sing this bani aloud at that time.

Sahib Sri Guru HarGobind Singh Sahib ji called Baba Anand ji in paalki by saying that we have not done any service of Guru Amardas ji's generation. While baba Anand ji was coming in the paalki (covered from all sides), Guru sahib came and took one of the paalki sahara on his shoulders and asked others not to say anything. But baba Anand ji was brahgyani, so he came to know about this and jumped out of the paalki and threw himself to Guru sahib's charans.

Giani Thakur Singh ji - Katha Anand Sahib

Giani Ji said if one is feeling sad or gloomy, should do or listen to "Anand Sahib" bani continously. It'll give immense happiness and saroor.

This is the only bani that is read on all occasions - birth, marriage as well as death.

    Bhul chuk maaf

  7. The writer Giani Pritam Singh ji Mastana studied in a Missionary college and was a firm missionary. He was strictly against Sant mahapursh especially against Nanaksar. But in this book he explains how he got surrendered himself to Sant Isher Singh ji Kalerawale. Every time he would visit nanaksar to argue with Sant ji but his missionary logical arguments would vanish without Sant ji even utterring a word to him. It was just the way Sant ji used to look at him and he used to feel ashamed and guilty. And all this would happen without any conversation. The book answers all the questions that missionaries put against sikhi and sants.
