  1. Mohandas gandhi was a pedophile and a racist himself. Why are people surprised that his kid did this sort of sh**t?

Gandhi slept naked with young girls and his own young grandnieces to see if he could control his sexual desires- this is written for all to read in his autobiography.

He wrote letters to his gay jewish lover in london (these letters were recently sold in auction- india bought them). He was a man in great power who could've easily condemned the caste system and got the new india rid of this disease. Instead he said that the whole world one day would adopt the hindu caste system as without we can not possibly function.

He was openly against muslims refering to them as untouchables, along with Dalits and Black Africans referring to them as "harijans", a term he coined as a sweet, pretty face to his racist theory. He supported Hitler and his acts against the jewish community to create the perfect race. He wrote, black people were "only 1 degree removed from animals". "Kaffir are as a rule uncivilized the convicts even more so. They are troublesome, very dirty and live almost like animals." Note kaffir is an offensive ethnic slur used in south africa to refer to the native black people.

He was openly against SIKHS! He claimed sikhi was a branch of hinduism. He claimed that Dasam Pita was an ill-informed individual who took up arms for the wrong reasons. He claimed Guru Teg Bahadur ji Maharaaj gave his Sees for personal reasons.

He was totally against the acts of Bhagat Singh et al. the acts of which he openly condemned standing shoulder to shoulder with bandar pandit Nehru. And then when Bhagat Singh et al got public attention, congress and gandhi took a complete turn on their prior statements and accepted, applauded the acts of Bhagat Singh et al.

This man, who people today refer to as "Mahatma", was a Neech-atma, a low soul. A figure who had public support, who the congress party used for their own political gains. All this bullsh*t about nonviolence yet india is probably the biggest perpetrator of violence in the world.

Was it not his own people who killed him in the end? Hmm i wonder why.

  2. WJKK WJKF

It's not that I find myself funny, it's that the usual unnecessary extensions and fund raising done by gurdwara to make their gurdwara better than the one 600 yards down the road better which I find funny and this is usually the mentality where I live across the board in the uk. That's why there is Sarcasm and exaggeration in my previous post which unfortunately has been missed. Il try and be funnier next time or better still just put a stop to it right now and should take my thoughts very seriously.

    VJKK VJKF

Lifes too short to be serious all th time. Lol lol lol :)

  3. His dad is basically your chacha/ thia. As his from the same village as ur pops, they're 'brothers'. So according to that punjabi thinking, your essentially marrying ur cousin...which is seen as incest.

From a Sikhi perspective, i dont know. But as far as im aware, marrying someone from the same village or someone with the same surname or someone from your mums village is a big no no.

But your parents may not be so desi and since the guy doesnt share the same surname, your probz good to go. Im sure there will be talk but theres always talk...people needa get over themselves :)

All the best! Hope it works out

  4. Crisis is a bad choice of word for such situations. Most of the time people decide to build a Gurdwara without proper financial or business planning in place, what results is they run out of funds not surprisngly due to poor planning.,,then they claim it's a "crisis" and appeal to the national sangat for money to help them complete the project..

Theres a new crisis every other month these days..all entirely avoidable if the proper planning and finances were established in the first place..

Ohh ok so not a crisis at all lol just poor desi planning.

  5. There is also a wall painting with in one of the Vatican buildings (not sure if its in the sistine chapel) which says 'devine sikh guests' (i will post the photo shortly).

Theres supposed to be an engraving of some sort related to sikhi in the vatican gardens on a stone sculpture.

And there is also a wall painting of a rebab in a cupboard by raphael. Will also post this pic :)

  6. Pray Truth for all and say Sat Sree Akaal,

    Dear all,

Surprisingly all true seekers question the validity of "Waheguru" gur-mantar jaap.

Gurdev never suggested its jaap nor it gives the results described by them.

Please listen. Gurdev is singing about Gurmantra.

    ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੀਓ ਗੁਰਿ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁ

    हरि का नामु दीओ गुरि मंत्रु ॥

hari kaa naamu deeo guri mantra. GauRee M: 5 SGGS Ang 190-9

    *****

    Sat1176 jee,

Please let all know from whom you got "Waheguru" gur-mantar jaap and if the name of your Guru is mentioned in SGGS jee.

    Balbir Singh

  7. yh that's true, why am I thinking ?

no no bro the reasoning was family problems, there was no chance of us getting married.

After this I felt comfort in the guru so I had the desire to be amritdhari.

She probs moved on, and im happy about that because ive moved on with a partner - MY GURU

but you know how it is when you have 1 good thought you have 10 thoughts which will discourage you.

I feel for you...i would hate to be in your situation.

I guess you just have to keep your self occupied...stop yourself from thinking about her. Over time, im sure you'll get over it. But do what comes naturally to you. This is your relationship with your guru. Its personal. Keep it that way :) good luck!

  8. I think she may be trying to recreate the Mirror of Galadriel. It shows the viewer "things that were, and things that are, and things that yet may be."

For further information have a look on the following site: http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/The_Mirror_of_Galadriel

However, since this is a Sikh forum, I should probably add that Sikhi strictly forbids magic, acts of deception and superstitious beliefs.

    Hope this helps :)

  9. In times of Christ, a prostitute was going to stoned by the crowd, and then Christ said, raise your arms and throw stones those who are free of sins .... that very moment they brought their arms down, all who were eager and ready to stone her....

The society in which we live, is the same today. Each and everyone is ready to judge and cut throats of others.

One of Wahiguru´s name is also "Sad Bakshanhaar" .As long as you have life to breathe, He is ready to pardon you, just take His Name with love and devotion in your heart, so that He abides within us, and we no more ever come under the negative influence of the mind to fall so low.

But on the contrary, be filled with His Light, and shine with His virtues of truthfulness, gyan and budh, so to say, to face any situation with courage and dignity, as long as we are in this phisycall frame.

    Sat Sree Akal

Hello his name was Jesus. Only the Christians recognise him as christ/the messiah.

Also, was the prostitute in this story Mary Madgalene by any chance?

  10. Above is all coming from puratan granth-Gur Shabad Sidhi (Shardha Puran Granth) (Bhai Mani Singh Ji) punjabi -faith building granth used in puratan samparda's where certain shabads are given for bhagti help, health improvement, spiritual/social/religious issues/hindrances social-religious/spiritual/economic prosperity.. approach is also bit like kids beginning like approach as kids have strong faith in anything, when parent want its kid to jaap of vahiguroo, usually greed (lalach) is given in return- baba farid when he was small he was given greed by his parents if he does jaap of vahiguroo, he would get gur(shakar ganz) equilavent to candy every day from vahiguroo, so in this way one is slowly attached with gurbani, once its attached with gurbani one feel naturally de-attached from world if one is receptive enough as one point gurbani mantra/pauri draw seeker in.

I agree its bit of slippery slope but why worry? Everything is in hakum, Gurbani knows best how to draw people in when where and how when once one started do its jaap with receptivity full faith without egoic self coming in a way everything happens , traditionally in gurbani we have bhagat dhru who did bhagti for raaj initially and then got saved later on when jaap drawed him in fully and also baba farid sakhi doing jaap of vahiguroo for candy when he was kid.

A nice, positive way of looking at it :)

  11. One of them approached me at the local pharmacy. And told me that he was from a land far away (82 km) was a Brahmchari (I could understand that) and was looking for donations (who isn't?) and was also looking for a Mr. Singh (I couldn't see any other Singhs around other than him and me in the mirror). Than he tried telling me about this great book he had in his hands (essence of the Vedas etc) I told him I had to go to the bank and he had the audacity to ask for a donation of $10-$100. That my friend is today's religion. Out on the street and making cash. Amen!

    Aim of the game: $$$

    Money hai toh honey hai...

  12. Thats a great idea, but I doubt the govt would do that for the sikhs. Their top ranks are flanked by freemasons/illuminati who know that sikh teachings are truth, which is why we've had such a difficult time in 1984 before that.

They would prob be really pissed if a Gurdwarra was built near their jadoo serving buildings in central. Which would be part of the fun of building there, all that good energy ruining their fun, burning through the Kaal.

Ah well I guess I should try and make some money and help fund this seva in a few years time.

True point...i doubt they would either.

As for freemasons, there are many, manyyy 'sikhs' amongst them. But they're too busy pulling strings for their own personal gain- our biggest downfall. Rich and successful personally but not for our community. And thats why jews hold first place.

Hmm bring on this Canary Wharf Gurdwara!! ;)

  13. Lol i stopped at services on the way to london and this hare krishna hippy approaches me offering a free copy of the gita. I kindly declined. He then went on to tell me krishna wore a turban as i do, i smiled and let him blab since i cant say ive ever met the blue man. But then he came out with, "guru nanak worshipped lord krishna". At this point i was fuming. I explained to this bandar how misinformed he was but he had none of it. Instead he had the audacity to question where i had read this from! What i said after this, i dont think i can post here...

  14. If you dont want to go back, why do u keep thinking about her? In denial maybe? It doesnt sound like youve come to terms with it.

If youve broken up with her because of family problems, then im guessing there isnt much you can do. But if you broke up with her purely because you wanted to take amrit, i think thats way out of order. Its like you dropped her when it no longer suited you. I hope that wasnt the reasoning bro.

Maybe you guys could be friends? That way you could still talk to her...
