  1. The BBC reported the Sikh Federation (UK) as saying

I have seen NO TV (BBC1,SKY NEWS ETC) or RADIO station report anything to do with Sikhs, only community somehow due to thier ignorance they feel are or might be under attack is the muslim or hindu communities.. LOL.gifLOL.gifLOL.gifLOL.gif damn man these politicians make me laugh just looks as though they have forgot about sikhs full spot, charles clarke and tony blair the big eared monkey freaks have yet to mention ANY statements reagarding Sikhs same with other ppl in iin similar positions.

  2. just read the link, disgusting it is ppl mistaking us for muslims but its kind of our faults not for educating the mass's this is the best time to produce leaflets etc to give out to non-sikhs to show them who sikhs actually are. another funny thing in that article is us sikhs some of us are much more prone to attacks due to our physical appearance resembling the mulim terrorists, yet in the article they cover mostly about hindus and muslims never sikhs. i get so pi**ed of , even when ken livingstone was giving a statement he was like "innocecnt attack on christians, jews, hindus and muslims" NO MENTION OF SIKHS EVEN THOUGH WE THE MOST LIKELY 2 gt the <banned word filter activated>.

  3. As you will have known due to the recent cowardly terrorist attacks in london on innocent ppl happened today. Beware espicially down london ways and rest of UK, because alot of non-sikhs still think we related to taliban/bin laden etc. I think we need to educate the general public about simple differences to avoid certain events and incidents taking place. Just be careful. And prayers are with those, and thier families who have been affected by 2days events. pray.gif

  4. The camp did have loads of kids, it goes up to 18 year olds (not sure this year). I think last years turn out was in its 100's  . Actually both Gurudwaras in slough are near the main slough shopping centre. Be more accurate. But I think I get what you mean :TH:

  5. LOL.gif ahh mr.khan you make me laugh. LOL.gif

    URGENT STATEMENT

    Thursday 7 July 2005

The protests planned for Friday 8 July, between 3-5pm outside the Indian High Commission have been cancelled

We regret to inform you that the peaceful protests planned for tomorrow by Sikhs outside the Indian High Commission in London regarding the Dastaar (Sikh turban) and human rights violations in India have been cancelled.

The tragic incidents of earlier this morning in London and the latest police advice leave us with no option but to cancel the protests. We apologise for any inconvenience that this will cause. As you will be well aware police resources in London are stretched and it would have been irresponsible and insensitive to allow the protests against the Indian Government to take place at this time given the circumstances.

It is hoped you will fully understand why we have reached this decision. We have also learnt that Manmohan Singh's schedule is also being changed due to the security situation. Our offer to meet with him tomorrow to get an update on the Dastaar situation and to put across our concerns about the human rights situation in India is still on the table.

We received confirmation this morning that he has received our message and our letter of an offer to meet while he is in the UK. NDTV also carried broadcasts on Indian television earlier this morning about the reasons for the protest and our willingness to meet Manmohan Singh and to enter into a dialogue about Sikh concerns.

The Sikh Federation (UK) have organised to meet the media that had already covered the protests and were hoping to film tomorrow. However, our appeal is that Sikhs heed our advice and do not travel to London as the protest has been officially cancelled. The Metropolitan Police have welcomed our responsible approach and our full support to help them in any way we can to bring the culprits of the terrorists attacks in London to justice.

The Sikh Federation (UK) has issued the following press statement regarding the terrorist attacks this morning:

We totally condemn this morning's terrorist attacks targeting innocent civilians in London. These are the acts of cowards and a challenge to the international world. Those responsible have no respect for human life. It is clear the attacks are timed to coincide with the opening of the G8 and deflecting attention away from important international issues, such as combating world poverty and protecting our environment.

We send our profound condolences to the victims and their families. Our thoughts are with those that have been injured and the families that have lost loved ones.

The Sikh community in the UK had been planning a "pro human rights" protest in central London tomorrow with the visit of the Indian Prime Minister to the UK. However, we have taken police advice and cancelled our protest as we had no wish to put a drain on police resources at this tragic time. We have offered our full support to the UK Government and the Metropolitan Police to help them in any way we can to bring the culprits of these terrorists attacks to justice.

We must unite in our efforts to tackle such acts of terrorism that are aimed at killing and maiming innocent civilians. The international community must also work together to challenge rogue states and states that have little or no respect for human rights. Today's events should strengthen our resolve to eradicate all forms of terrorism.

  7. That whole bf + gf causes more pangeh then anything else. I see it go on everyday and the effects of only a very very few relationships are actually serious. But nowdays things are mash-up, dont know if someone really does like you for who, you are or what you got or can do (sounds complicated but think about it). I think that if things are serious between a girl and boy then yeah its all good, but I aint getting into that stuff becuase I say to me sis you aint allowed a b/f until I think okay and if I go around doing it that contradicting myself. COMPLEXO PROBLEM PEOPLE. I got 99 problems but a "____" aint one. wacko.gif

  8. :TH: Sinner I love you in brotherly way man, I swear man me and you must of been long lost brothers :e: Singh Thing lol.

In fact, unless they are serious about each other and are gonna get married; id slit the dude’s throat- sorry for being graphic!!

Not forgetting chop the brers body up into the number of pieces according to age (example 18years old, 18 pieces). Put the parts into a big black bag and send it to his yard. Puzzle. ohmy.gif

NO, way d/w I wouldnt do that, as sinner was saying yeah if they are serious then just meet the guy etc and guide ur sis/mate/cousin sis watever.

  9. Tarunjeet Singh

I think it is okay to have friends of the opposite sex, aint nothing wrong with that yeah. Its all good, aslong you dont go around pimping and that. I think you are 100% right when you say are relationships are false brother, Only Guru Ji's relationship is true. But I think that having friends of the opposite sex is fine nothing wrong with it, not as though your not going to not communicate with the opposite sex and become friends. :TH:

Hope I havent offended anyone, please forgive me.

  10. Singh Shiromani....You will find nearly all comittees are like this once confronted they crap their load and cant stick to thier guns. You are dealing with dirt, what can you expect how do these guys sleep at night knowing they are thier just <admin-profanity filter activated> the sangats money and coming into a Gurudwara Sahib intoxicated. Sort it out just. Key thing is EDUCATION, alot of these old boys like down my ends all connected with our mums n dads etc etc, but if you start to educate the sangat about these monkeys then you got the whole backing of the sangat. Make sure you get alot of youth involved and then just one day, turn up the the joint and respectfully ask if you can talk on stage if they dont let you, then just rig the mics and start to talk, and question the comittee and thier actions back it up with 100% solid proof videos, pictures, recording hell yeah just set up a power point presentation about it. LOL.gif After you do this or while doing this they cant lie cos they are infront of Guru Ji but you cant put it past them, then kick them all out what ever means necessary.

  11. Prabjit Singh Panesar

Fair enough her account name might not be Sikhi like, lets not critise yeah. I dont believe in caste system but lets stop our religious institutes such as some ramgarhia gurudwaras only allowing ramgarhians to become comitee members. Once we do that I think we will have no problem in sorting out such MYNA little things like Not Sikhi Like account names. What would you do if I changed my account to Jugga Jatt hey? Thats my view.

As makeup goes, of course it harms a womens skin. But brother just take a look around the amount of sikh gals I knw that drink and smoke etc....IS f*cking disgraceful. They know perfectly well what it does to thier health. Lets get these issues sorted through education, but ultimately I wouldnt mind my wife wearing make up? I think its up to the gals as long as they aint Amrit Dahri. blush.gif

hope I have not offended anyone.

  12. The Khalsa is Akaal Purakhs brother. I very pleased you realise the Sikh struggle for an independent homeland, and justful living (Azaadi). If Khalistan was created, which it will be  no matter what religion anyone is they, the Sikhs will continue to live in peace with them and let them practice thier own beliefs, ASLONG as they aint going against Sikhi, in an attempt to pollute it. :TH:

  13. Bare slang Kumi. blush.gif

I think everyone has someone special to thier lifes. But all I got to say is nowdays its very hard to find ppl who genuinely care for people for who they are and not what they got. All I got to say is if your running with someone/crew and you been tight for ages becuase of a bond then stay together other ppl just come and go. :TH:
