I know mata sahib kaur wasnt phisically his wife, but I heard there were 2 other women who were guru sahibs wife. And didnt guru hargobind sahib je maharaj also have more than wife. Again, a moorakh asing a question. Please give this moorakh an answer. thankyou

It is possible I am wrong. I will ask some very gian wale singhs I know if guru sahib had 2 wives or not. I thought the same thing you think when I read that post. Im just posting what I have read so someone like you can prove it is wrong, or someone may prove it is right. Hey, Im a fool what do I know. All the gian I have, if any, I own to my satguru. I am lower than everyone. Please forgive my if I offended anyone, I was just posting some information I had read.

There is is a story in sikh history where guru nanak sahib je maharaj was walking with bhai mardana. There was water ahead, and bhia mardana said how will we walk over it. Guru nanak sahib je told bhai mardana to keep on saying waheguru while walking over the water. bhia mardana kept on saying waheguru and didnt fall. Then guru nanak sahib strted saying something else. Bhia Mardana started saying that to. When bhia mardana started saying that, he started sinking. Guru sahib told him to say waheguru again. Bhai mardana started saying waheguru again, and started walking on the water again. When guru sahib and bhia mardana reached land, bhia mardana asked how come guru sahib told him to say waheguru, and when guru sahib started saying something else guru sahib didnt sink, and when he ( bhia mardana) started saying the same thing, he started sinking. Guru sahib je said, one is to follow the gurus orders, not investigate or copy them.
And Guru je only kept 2 wives, because the maharaj used to keep more than wife. Guru sahib did a lot of things the mughal rulers did. He wore a kalgi, kept a hunting hawk, went hunting dangerous, man eating animals ( never ate the animals), kept an army, kept horses, I think thats all. He did this stuff to inspire courage and bravery into the people. I think. I am pretty sure guru je did two anand karajes. But we are no one to investigate why guru sahib did something or not. Mata sahib kaur was nor guru gobind singh jes phisical wife, but rather the khalsas mother.

There is one condition. If you have a condition where you cannot take amrit with your wife, you cant get, um, lets just say you cant kiss and other things, You should think sort of like she aint your wife, so you wont do things.

heres a story that is true and should be told all over the world:
I would like to share one true story with all of you. It is about this one girl who was a follower of one living guru of the Radha Swami cult. One day, this girl listened to katha of Jaap Sahib and decided to take amrit. She did not tell her family members knowing that they would forbid it. On the day of amrit sanchaar she went to panj pyare but somehow her family members found out from someone and followed her. By the time they reached there, she was already inside Guru’s Darbar ready to take amrit. Her family members, especially her grandmother, started disparaging Amrit to the sevadar at the door and demanded she come out which by then was too late. They spoke filthily about the Gurus and Amrit and caused a major commotion. The Panj pyare inside the room heard them, came out, and told them to calm down yet they did not listen. They continued cursing just as much. The Panj Pyare addressed the grandmother with: “One bad word from your mouth about amrit will get your whole family infected with leprosy.” Still she persisted. The Panj pyare went back inside and gave everyone Amrit.
That girl came outside wearing full bana of Guru Ji and with great smile on her face. As soon as she came outside her grandmother took off her dastaar, threw away the other kakkars, and took her home. She did not sleep all night and kept praying to Guru Ji. Being the word of Guru Ji’s Sikhs what utterance came from their mouths indeed came to pass. In the morning, everyone woke up infected with leprosy. Her grandmother recei
ved calls from all of her family members that not only were her sons and daughters afflicted but so were their children. They all got together and went to their guru in Beas but upon seeing their condition, the guru ordered them not come near him. They requested his blessing to cure them but he said he could not do anything. The girl then told them to go back to the same panj pyare. They all did so and they told them that the only cure was to take the Amrit of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. They felt they had no alternative at this point. They all took amrit and went back home.
The next morning they all woke up healthy with no trace of leprosy. Seeing them many more people took amrit. I urge all reading this to take Amrit and follow only Guru Granth Sahib since there is no other true Guru in this world.

- wHEREEVER NANAK OR KABEER OR OTHER BHAGAT/GURUS NAMES APPEAR IN THE BANI, HE PUTS RADASWAMI THERE
- THERE BACKED BY INDIAN GOVERNMENT TO DESTROY THE SIKH RELIGION

Im with navjot singh, mkhalsa, etc. Sikhs are not supposed to go to any place like clubs resteraunts, because it falls into the category of galt sangat ( bad crowd). Guru sahib strictly forbade this. Resteraunts sikhs shouldnt go to because we shouldnt eat from resteraunts. So really, we shouldnt be there in the first place, but it was bad that they denied the rights.

HAHAHAHA! Dont worry rochak malang. According to the reight maryada ( taksali, original), RED and GREEN are forbidden. Its as simple as that. People can argue against it, but theres no point because the maryada is not wrong, now is it? A khalsa ( sikh) should try to wear only blue, white, orange, and black, the four khalsa colours. Avoid all other colours, but red and green can never be worn, never.

During the seize of 1704 guru gobind singh je said he will give singhs raj in 300 years. 1704 + 300 is 2004. Next year, is also the time sant jarnail singh je will come back. There will be a war. I personally, if satguru allows me to, will go put shaehhedi when sant je comes back. And when raj does come, only gursikhs will get to rule under guru granth sahib je. You shall see. It is time for sikhs to rule. And get ready singhs and singhnias, its time to put shaeheedi.

Forgive me if I am mistaken, but It looks like from your posts in the discussion with khalsa soulja were saying pretty much a sikh can wear red or green. Please forgive me If I misunderstood. But this is a message to everyone who will read this. RED AND GREEN ARE FORBIDDEN IN SIKHI. THIS IS WRITTEN IN THE REIGHT MARYADA. Please check taksali maryada if any doubts I am writing the truth. Please, anyone who holds the guru dear, and wishes to follow the path of sikhi, do not wear red or green at any times.

Everyone here is asking for a quote from the reight maryada, AND khalsa soulja gave it to you. If you look in the maryada that has been here since guru gobind singh jes time, the taksali maryada, sayd red and green is forbidden. Whoever is still going to argue against the maryada of the khalsa, then there is no point in discussing this with you. If we give you actual evidence from the reight maryada, and you still reject it, there is just no point in arguing with you. So, if you dont believe us, look at the reight maryada, or look at the post by khalsa soulja, and you will see that red and green are strictly forbidden. So there, you have see what the maryada has to say? You gonna argue against the maryada to? And why do we need a reason why guru sahib said dont wear this colour? Is not his hukam good enough for you? A sikh accepts all of the gurus hukams without doubt and question. Did the panj pyaras in 1699 say why do you need our heads? NO. They gave their heads willingly without question. The basic thing I am trying to say, you have proof from the reight maryada from guru gobind singh jes time, if you gonna argue against it, then you will have to answer to akal purkh and guru sahib himself.

Bhia sahib Saint soldier je,
Their are certain dos and donts in sikhi. Sikhi has many rules, which are not hard. To live the life of a gursikh, you must have 100 percent reight inside and out. We must follow all the rules of satguru maharaj je, then we shall obtain raj, and we shall also obtain mukhti ( hopefully). But we must read bani, listen/do kirtan, read sikh history, and live in 100% reight maryada. Less than 100% does not cut it. Sikhi is not a right, it is an honour and an privelage. One must earn the honour of being a sikh.

Is it not surprising to see how much singhs and singhniea wear red and green? It is forbidden in the sikh dharm to wear red or green. For those who might not know yet, a sikh cannot wear red because thats the hindus colour, and we cant wear green because that is islams colour. The four colours of sikhi are black, blue, saffron, and white. Other colours should be avoided and one should try to wear only the khalsa, colours, but red are green are strictly forbidden.

Yahe paji, I read that saying they were one person. Fine lets leave that for one second and say they were one person, even though there is an argument against that claim, not sayin if its right or wrong. What about guru hargobind sahib je maharaj? He had more than 1 wife didnt he?
