Sudan man forced to 'marry' goat

A Sudanese man has been forced to take a goat as his "wife", after he was caught having sex with the animal.

The goat's owner, Mr Alifi, said he surprised the man with his goat and took him to a council of elders.

They ordered the man, Mr Tombe, to pay a dowry of 15,000 Sudanese dinars ($50) to Mr Alifi.

"We have given him the goat, and as far as we know they are still together," Mr Alifi said.

Mr Alifi, Hai Malakal in Upper Nile State, told the Juba Post newspaper that he heard a loud noise around midnight on 13 February and immediately rushed outside to find Mr Tombe with his goat.

"When I asked him: 'What are you doing there?', he fell off the back of the goat, so I captured and tied him up".

Mr Alifi then called elders to decide how to deal with the case.

"They said I should not take him to the police, but rather let him pay a dowry for my goat because he used it as his wife," Mr Alifi told the newspaper.

Liquor to be cheaper in Punjab

Fateh, another thing i noticed on my trip to punjab this year was the abundance of cannabis bush's which grow out of control in punjab, throughout my whole journey from jalandar to amritsar i could smell weed because it was growin on the road-side, i later found out that it was growin in my front and back garden. Whilst i was at dehli i didnt see a single ganja bush, this is obviously a government effort to spread the nasheh across punjab.

If u look at the portrait which nanaksar gurdwaras use, that portrait was painted under guidence of Sant Baba Nand Singh ji who wen looking at Mahraaj's saroop could see Guru Nanak Dev Ji, there is a story that i was told wen i went india about a singh, i think he was a keertani and he asked Baba ji wot he saw wen he looked at Mahraaj's saroop, Baba ji asked the keertani to come to him and wen baba ji held the keertani, he told him to look at guru ji . The keertani could see Guru Nanak dev ji sittin down in bhagti. in my personal opinion the nanaksar portrait is the most realistic because the others always show guru ji as being quite heavy and guru ji travelled North, east, south and west so i doubt he was that heavy. Anyways pictures are useless because its the teaching that counts. i hope i offended no1, i had no intention

I have no idea why they are there, as for the rings "apparently" some people tried fishing and those are the hooks stuck in the fish, how evilll

Its excellent there is a filter now but by throwing parshaad what people were doing before was almost suffocating the fish as it builds a layer of oil at the surface of the water preventing oxygen being in the water and fish would have to come to the surface to breathe.

hmmm its kinda like eutrophication...but with prashad....

I personally do not wear a bana yet because I dont beleive I am gud sikh, I dont think I could set that sort of an example. however the thought of wearing a bana and being a khalsa does motivate me alot to folow sikhi more. Its easy to know the rules and what your supposed to do and how you shud live but I find it difficult to put this into practice, when I take amrit and when I beleive I am ready I will don a bana hopefully.

"My heart cries when each year, we gather to honour the martyrdom of the hundreds of children, women and men who were brutally murdered by the Indian Army soldiers.

"I was inside the Temple complex right through the mindless massacre. Heavily armed soldiers were position all around and there was constant firing.

"Then late on 5 June evening, they entered with their tanks which targeted the Akal Takht (the centre of Sikh authority).

I know this is off topic but ive noticed a trend in ure posts....for example the meat ones....u justified by saying its aloud because its the concensus of the khalsa panth but i recall a post u wrote about marraige and u said that u dnt see a problem with marrying outside of sikhi....im not 100% sure but dusnt the akaal thakat sahib rehit maryada state that a sikh shudnt marry sum1 from another faith...isnt this also the concensus of the akaal thakht sahib?....sorry if i offended i hav no intent on offending my brother and if i am wrong pleasse tell me
