Although those that cut beard off and claim sikhi, hopefully with guru ji's blesings they too will come into sikhi soon, there are those who do so much seva at gurdwaras and just need that kirpa and mehr from vaheguru.

Fair enough you guys are talking baout injections and that, but can i just say that this IS how God has intended the bibi or pajee to be and doing the injection stuff is going against what there is.

I along with some singhnee have the odd facial hair here an there but I would Never go getting mysefl injected, even if it got worse. Worse, vaheguru hai that sound soo bad, how can facial hair get worse, they more the better ur meditation ur guna get, hope God gives me more.

No offence sangat but colour makes No Difference whatsoever. My parents have been amritdhari for a very long time and associated with many a great person and they wear any , always have done , same for me and my brothers.

This white thing is news to me! I have no reason to change to white kachera'a, no maryada refers specifically to the kachera so.......we should read gurbani and this issue has no weight at all.

I dont know how well to answer this questiosn but here goes:

i think we need not fear God , he is our provier and looks after his children ,what we need to remember is death. To keep in mind that we are guests in this world and death is looming over our heads at all times and sooner or later we too will leave this world. A gursikh has fear about what karam he/she's doings , whether in guru ji's eyes they are good or bad.

We need to love God cause he is in all the creation and every person, all prevading. A gursikh fears not, only holds onto love for all, and utmost humility. Yeh i guess you may fear god especially when bad niggling thoughts come into your mind but isnt it better to do vaheguru vaheguru and ask for guru ji's help. On the other hand i guess if we do not fear God at all we cant do good deeds and even recognise his existence.

umm........jus sum thoughts, , this is a very intersting topic and one that sum others can answer more fully.

penji you know why we cut our nails becoz imagineo kay we need to kirt (work) hana we cant with massive nails can we......hair dont interfere with nearly all types of kirat. so thas one reason

another its very unhygenic to grow such nails and can also pose a danger to others, eg. poke their eye outs,, im sure growing long hair cant do that.

i thought the whole transformation thing was a good idea...so here iz me amandeep kaur khalsa before taking amrit, seriously in need of sikhi and now at my sikh society launch at uni....and me as a l'il singhni when my kes was still in tact...

I always said i'd never be amritdhari maybe when i'm like 80 yrs old or so, lol, but i guess you never know with maharaj ji, only he knows, vaheguroo...

hope that sangat visiting the site can take something from these photos as much as I need to keep reminding myself not to fall from this path...cause its the only path to gaining the peace i'd been searching always...the sikhi bana and bani ...anmolak heera (precious, priceless gem)

erm paji or penji no one ever told me, even the panj pyarey that i couldnt wear red or green , and i dont htink iz nuthing wrong wit it. God made all rungs and roops, wonderful colours, creations...........wat ur saying i simplying a very narrow and not god given view......show me bani tuk specific on this colour matter, cause it was bought up at sikhi camp too and even then in mind i din agree but stayed quiet, and i will stop wearing those if the bani is clear.
