  1. No man can reveal to you aught but that which already lies half asleep in the dawning of your knowledge.

The teacher who walks in the shadow of the temple, among his followers, gives not of his wisdom but rather of his faith and his lovingness.

If he is indeed wise he does not bid you enter the house of his wisdom, but rather leads you to the threshold of your own mind.

The astronomer may speak to you of his understanding of space, but he cannot give you his understanding.

The musician may sing to you of the rhythm which is in all space, but he cannot give you the ear which arrests the rhythm nor the voice that echoes it.

And he who is versed in the science of numbers can tell of the regions of weight and measure, but he cannot conduct you thither.

For the vision of one man lends not its wings to another man.

And even as each one of you stands alone in God's knowledge, so must each one of you be alone in his knowledge of God and in his understanding of the earth

This is from Khalil Gibran, a Lebanese artist/poet, the rest of Harjinder J's posts are taken from Conversations with God- Neale Donald Walsh.

  2. Nowadays everyone has the prefix khalsa attached to their name. But are they really khalsa? This has no just become a fashion statement. Nobody is khalsa. Only a brahmgiani is khalsa.

The true origins of attaching the word khalsa to your name came from Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji Maharaj Bhindranvale. Before they used to wear white turban and Hindu media as against Sikhs as it was is used to call Baba Ji a Nirmala saint. When baba ji found out about this they started tying blue dastarr and keeping the prefix khalsa. After them Sant Kartar Singh kept the prefix khalsa aswell and they were also brahmgiani mahatma. So was Baba Jarnail Singh and Baba Takur Singh Ji

How do you know mata jee isn't a brahmgiani? If you have done her darshan then you would realise she has a very high avastha.

  3. Do dreams even mean anything? How can some people assume this dream is true or a vision etc???

What bout other dreams? Completely random imaginative dreams?

Why don't people deduce something from them?

Dreams can sometimes mean something or Guru Ji can tell you to do something in your dream.

Baba Attar Singh at Hazoor Sahib

taken from "Life Story of Sant Attar Singh Ji" by Harbans Singh Doabia

One day Sant ji started walking on the bank of the Godavari. At a distance of nearly three miles he began meditation for nearly ten days without food. Bhai Nanu Singh, the head pujari of Darbar Sahib saw a vision one night and heard a voice say “Our dear Sikh is standing in meditation in the river for the last eight days without any food. Serve him food.”

Next morning, Bhai Nanu Singh cooked food and walked on the bank for about two miles but finding no one, returned back. On the same night he again heard a voice “You have not served food to our beloved Sikh.” He replied, “Sir, I tried to contact him but could not find him anywhere.” The voice answered, “Walk for three miles and then you will find him”.

On the following morning, he again took food and went for three miles on the bank of the river. Now he saw Sant ji standing in the knee deep water. When Sant ji opened his yes, he saw Bhai Nanu Singh and asked, “How have you come here?”

Bhai Nanu Singh explained his dream and offered food to Sant Ji. He refused to eat anything. Bhai Nanu Singh then said, “ I shall not be able to sleep. Kindly accept my humble offer”

  4. 'As a perfect Saint’s (Sadhu) heart is like an ocean of compassion which recognizes the pain of others and is always there to help. Baba Ji listening to her plight instantly told the lady to find two ladders, meanwhile assessing the house on fire they found that the lower floor of the house had been severely burnt and the upper was yet inflames. Unable to find a rope Baba Ji took off his turban and tied the two ladders together in order to reach a small window on the upper floor and began to climb up. Sant Lal Singh Ji worried for their safety told Baba Ji not to climb up, as the fire was too intense and he was risking his own life. But Baba Ji whilst reciting prays had begun to climb up to the upper floor. He went in quickly, picked up the child and wrapped him in a blanket and tied him to his waist and then grabbed some of the ladies possessions and threw them down to her and carefully climbed out of the window with the child and down the ladder, placing that fortunate child into the longing arms of his mother'

Taken from Pachmi Parkash, Baba Karam Singh Ji

I'm not justyfing bollywood aswell and don't agree with any of their movies, but just highlighting the point of taking your dastaar off to save someone's life isn't going to be beadbi to the dastaar.

  5. Thanks for sharing Singh. The Muslims doing genocide of Christians in Europe could fit in with a Baba Vanga (search for her on google) prophecy. She says Europe will be controlled by Muslims.

And I guess the rest fits in with Karni Nama.

The timing is about right. Even in Hindu prophecy, it says there will be a golden age within Kali Yuga which will last for 10000 years. It is supposed to start about 5000 years after the beginning of Kali Yuga which is around now. I believe there is a Sikh prophecy that states there will be a mini Sat Yuga within Kali Yuga too.

Do you know which two superpowers these will be. Is it USA against Russia or USA against China?

    Thanks for the info

I thought of baba vanga aswell while reading the bachans.

Would this be the time for the kalki avatar aswell?

  6. i have often thought this, if the british still ruled india, things could have been better for the sikhs.

i wonder when the indians will ever learn.

I believe they would have been better. They had respect for us. In Punjab alot of hindu families would bring up one of there sons as a sikh.

This story just goes to show how corrupt india is. The parents will never get justice.
