  1. you may do what you wish , I have heard that some people burn it or let it go it in a stream or river and then do ardas or whatever you are comfortable with. as long as it lives in your heart and you practice it from your truth you will know inside the true essence of it ,it can never leave you . it is a personal choice. is a fine line in having that kind of awareness .

  2. yes i understand what you are saying and understand that you feel i am probably contradicting myself!

What i am trying to get across is that one should be careful of over-attachment and over-identifying with the body (as well as mind and emotions).

A souls consciousness needs to stay in connection with the body for health and vitality and in order for the soul to fulfill the soul contract (ie what you came to earth to do as well as the karma you need to transmute)

The problem arises when people either abuse their bodies - ie drugs , drink unhealthy eating

or they completely reject their bodies and start living in their mind - in that case the consciousness lives in the mind, then the body doesnt get the necessary prana or chi (whatever you want to call) it and that leads to health problems.

It can be complicated for the mind to understand this , thats why sometimes it can be better to experience it.

I understand what you are saying about your body being useless and only dust, and you are right in a way the body will die.... but while you have it, you do bear some responsibility towards it because your divine consciousness created it as part of its mission.

I hope i have not confused you or offended you, i only serve to attempt enlighten people, some receive it graciously , some do not,i respect your free will,

  3. That's probably the better explanation !

It is all part of the journey, the different colours are supposed to represent the different chakras from what I gather. However, one can be easily distracted in this respect and therefore I have deliberately not learnt what colours mean what !!

To see them when not meditating is also quite normal.

I'm not very artistic in any way but I am also quite sure that you see colours that you didn't even know existed !!

Controlling the 'ego' is very important if one wants to progress. I have made this mistake many times, but then you just end up stuck at that level or even feel that you may be stepping backwards !!- Believe me, that is not pleasant at all and is a huge burden of guilt on one's conscious.

Personally, I don't think it's wise to tell people about your experiences in person. Much of it should be kept personal, as this aids your progress.

However, I don't mind talking on here because no one really knows me as a person on here in any way.

I do thank Waheguru ji for this new age of technology in this 'one' instance.[/quote

I agree , it's is important to talk about it , many people are on this journey alone .

  4. body is just as spiritual as the soul , in fact it is a vehicle of expression for the soul , an unloved body is useless for the soul to carry out its mission .

just like your car , you look after it dont you? because it transports you , just like your body transports your soul. what is of concern is ... over attachment to your body !

  5. soul takes about three days to leave and that depends on the soul itself! if a person , when alive believes in god and knows that he will go to sach khand then he will carry that belief system over when he dies and leave quickly . if however , when alive a person does not belief in god then when he dies he will not believe it either (because we only shed the physical body when we die not the emotional and mental bodies) and then the disembodied soul is left in limbo and finds it difficult to leave. that's why families constantly do prayers and akand paths for their deceased ... to send them into the light.

  6. no it doesn't necessary mean that you agree with it , sometimes you just have to accept things for the sake of peace but if after that you find yourself feeling annoyed and angry then you actually accepted it from your ego mind . if however you accept something from your divine soul self then it does not matter whether you agree with it or not , you accept everything as it is from a place of unconditional love

  7. every thought feeling or deed is godly when it arises from the heart for then there is no malice , jealousy, anger , need , contract , or attachment to it . it is then purely loving unconditional and compassionate, joyful and divine .

as opposed to thought feeling and deeds which arise form the ego mind which seek power, drama , contracts , lust and greed etc these seek to disempower the soul.

  8. you sound very upset and i must say angry, maybe you should look at the real source of your feeling and not project them onto the cards. true bani always remains in ones heart and can never be removed,

Cards, paper and ink are all perishable and material items and are part of mothers earth recycling process, they will eventually wither out anyway.

Maybe you are over-attatched to learning the bani through your mind and need to learn that bani lives in your heart and you will understand it through your daily experiences based on love and relationships with family and friends.
