  1. Sounds like the init brigade from london have hijacked this topic.

I haven't once said the word 'init'. Why are the Birmingham brigade doing nothing, you need to stand up to people who oppress you such as muslims. Even my friend from Birmingham said you guys fight between yourselves rather than fighting of dumb Pakistani muslims.

  2. It seems some you won't be happy with a muslim until he stops breathing. Even when he stops breathing I get the impression you'll say he stopped breathing on purpose as part of some sinister plan.

Hahaha... that made me laugh. Some muslims are ok not all are bad. But they do seem to think 9/11 and 7/7 was an inside job, which is wrong on all the victims who were killed.

  3. and so goes the circle of empathy ^^ if no one says anything because its always going to be someones family friend then it will always happen!

glad to know that respect for the anand karaj goes as far as thinking about telling someone what they are doing is wron

If you put yourself in my shoes, imagine no one ever talking to you and your family again because you ruined their wedding. They family have done a lot for us, they are really good people, even if they are Hindu

I will talk to the committee the next time I visit that gudwara, it was the Havelock Road In Southall by the way. I was a bit surprised that it was taking place to be honest. And the Giani who was conducting the ceremony did it English.

Additionally, I find it odd how when its a Sikh girl and non Sikh boy, everyone makes a big fuss. But when its the other way round no one batter's an eyelid.

  4. Its wrong to try and copy Christian wedding ceremonies, but as long as the bride and groom were Sikh that's what matters. I recently went to a wedding between a Hindu girl and Sikh boy and although I disagreed on them getting married in the gudwara in front of SGGS, I didn't say anything because sadly it was my family's close friend (the Hindu girl).

  5. I hear u bro + thanks for clarifying exactly what u meant.

Only thing i wanna disagree above is that we don't need to be gangsters to look after ourself. as long as we are tyaar bar tyaar and each and every Sikh is Shastardhari and physically fit, we are a Qaum that nobody can dominate so long as we have 100% Unity and readiness to fight for the Qaum's protection within us.

Dealing drugs excludes people from membership of the Panth. Especially when they deal to our own community.

Any group that is against Nazi's or drug-dealing Muslim groomers i'm all good with ... regardless of how religious or not they might be.

that is true, I guess its for the girls. Its sad that girls are taught to dislike Sikh men by the media and family at an early age, I wish this could change. Im a mona myself, don't know much about sikhi, but I am learning slowly; one day I hope to be able to keep my kesh and make a start. We need to do classes regularly not just Fridays, look at musilman who go masjid everyday, obviously we don't want to be hardcore like they are, but we need more unity. For example after gurdwara we should stand outside meet and greet everyone, we should all be united under the khalsa brotherhood; Someone needs to make a stand.

I agree about the dealing and they do deal to our own, all our bundeh wana do is act like kaleh and smoke weed. This is sad but true, we really don't need that look, however a cool dress sense is ok.

I think most people are against the above 2. I was speaking to a muslim friend of mine who informed me how a black man was sleeping with a Pakistani girl and they found the black man and battered him badly. We shouldn't go to this extreme, but we should obviously protect ourselves and our daughters and sisters in some way, so people wont mess around with us. Look at Canada no body messes with Sikhs everyone is scared of us.

  6. ggg the way u talkin it seems like ur proud of gangsters?

Instead of respecting gangsters wudn't it b better to respect Khalsa Panth + human rights activists, lawyers, doctors

Of course I'm not proud. Really I would like us all to be law abiding citizens, which most of us in the UK are. This is why we don't get a bad reputation in the media as much as Pakistanis. However saying that we do need people to protect us, because if we don't then we will get rolled over, its a sad reality. If we didn't have any gangsters in Southall and slough then we would have ended up like people in Birmingham, where the youth are bullied and girls pimped. Im not saying as if this doesn't happen in Southall and slough, but its no way as bad as Birmingham. None of these gangs started of like this, it was to protect our community. But now they have to do it by other means, e.g. dealing. I put the word Punjabi in inverted commas, I didn't use the word Sikh because I know they definitely are not and they certainly are not Punjabi, because this is not something our forefathers would be proud of.

I have a lot of respect for lawyers and all the people protesting in central London against the atrocities in India.

I was just pointing out to the op the difference between north and the south.

  7. The Pakistanis couldnt touch Punjabi Sikh youth/men from 1978-1989, we had them over,

The 90s our people on BHAM moved on became educated, moved out of rough areas, became watered down, the Paks also maintained large family numbers we now 1-3 kids max. the 90s saw the rise of radical muslims and Pakistani drug dealing gangs.

Sp Southalll / Slough had a good in 1997 but it was the revivial we needed. Slough, Maidendhead, etc are miserable areas, people were that street wise they are more now.

Southall people are like city folk from Bham or London.

Yes I agree. However now that there are so many Pakistani people in Birmingham its hard to really compete with them. On the other hand southall has so many Sikh people and many more because of the freshies and afghanis who have come over. Sikhs are spread out all over west London, even in the villages around heathrow. Pakistanis may breed a lot, but there are still less Pakistanis than Sikhs in west London. I hear old school gangsters in southall are still active, as well as the Ak47 street gang who are a recognised gang by the met police. Slough still has a lot of Sikh people even if there are more Pakistanis, there are still so many Sikh people living in the villages surrounding slough; I think we could still hold our own. Additionally I hear there are many 'punjabi' dealers in slough, so they must have contacts. Chalvey boys no longer exist because there are many polish, as well as Sikhs living in chalvey.

  8. Yeh I noticed when I went to Southall that there aren't really any Muslim gangs, only Sikhs gangs like that AK47. Also no Sikh gets bullied by anyone, otherwise a whole load of people will come out onto the Broadway, especially freshies. I noticed there are so many Sikh people living in slough, especially around the villages near Heathrow. Apparently there are a lot of 'Punjabi' dealers in Slough. At least these are some places Pakistanis don't try mess around with Sikhs, otherwise they know what's coming to them lol

  9. Im not too sure. But I hear that Sikhs get pushed around a lot in Birmingham, is this true? On the other hand in London, i.e. Southall, Sikhs are pretty close and don't take crap. For example years ago they went to slough to beat up Pakistanis for attacking them in Southall. This is quite contradictory because I hear Sikhs in slough are quite strong and keep their own, is this true?
