In a book called "The Sikh Religion", published by Max Arthur Macaliffe in association with the Singh Sabha leaders such as Bhai Kahn Singh of Nabha as well as Bhai Hazara Singh, Bhai Sardool Singh and Bhai Dit Singh, a brief (not to mention false) sakhi of Sri Guru Tegbahader Sahib Ji was composed on page 381 which reads as follows: "One day as he was on the top of story of his prison, the Emperor thought he saw him looking towards the south in the direction of imperial Zanana. He was sent for the next day and charged with the grave breach of Oriental etiquette and propriety. The Guru replied, "Emperor Aurangzeb, I was on the top of the story of my prison, but I was not looking at the private apartments or at the queens. I was looking in the direction of theTopi wala Sikh,who will come from beyond the seas to tear down the Pardas and destroy thine empire.."

Singh sahab JI Kile wale Maharaj Ji , had 4 kakars, and had said , that time will come , when we will take the kirpan , and this Bachan will be fulfilled by someone else not me... And this Bachan was fulfilled by sant PIPLI wale on December 31st 2011 in Patne sahib, ... And after that all Neeldharis have become 5 kakar sampooran ..

Kile wale mji and now sant PIPLI wale mji , they followed REHET maryada , GURBANI , and KIRTAN ... Now sant PIPLI wale , their family , wife , children , their grand children 5 and 9 also do so beautiful KIRTAN and table , that its amazing ... They have not only themselves followed REHET , but also " practiced what they have peached " To your Q of why did sant kile wale mji wear topi.. I can only tell you a short Sakhi which I read the other day in bhagat mal about kabeer JI One day , bhagat kabeer JI , took a kanjri (<banned word filter activated>), put their arm over her , and in the other hand took a bottle with water ( brownish looking like alcohol ) and started walking in the middle of the street ... People started saying wah wah , what kind of sant is he , doing such things ... When they went home , mata loi JI asked them what was this , bhagat kabeer Ji said that it was a saang (test) . They wanted the world to do their nindya ... But the ones who knew it was a test , remained strong in their faith towards them ..

Yes my dear Kile wale MAHA purshs name was baba harnam SINGH JI kile wale .. Who wore the blue dastar and kamarkasa .. Ragi BALBIR singh JI was given the blue kamarkasa by kile wale Maharaj Ji ( sang harnam SINGH JI ) , and have kept it ever since with them always as a nishani from a MAHA pursh..

BANI BIRLO BEECHARSI, JE KO GURMUKH HOE... now please dhyaan naal try to understand, guru nanak dev ji already said earlier that " how rare are those who try to understand the gurbani.... slok m 5.... koh nank kirpa kare, jisno eh wath deh, jag mai utam kandiye, virle kei kei... NOW READ SOOHI M 5 JIN KO BHAE DAYAL, TIN SADHOO SANG BHAYA,... AMRIT HAR KA NAM, TINI JANI JAP LAYA. they alone , whome the lord is merciful, join and meet the saadhs and sants....and they only can chant the naam... think carefully...dont rush...please try to understand what does bani say... kile wale maharj, whole life, till their age of 103, only stressed on gurbani, nam, rehet maryada...till their final days on earth, they only told everyone, who ever wants anything, please seak it from bani... so please , dont take upon yourself this maha paap of doing their nindya, as you are doing nindya of bani itself...because they had become one with bani... just bowing your head infront of sri guru granth sahib ji is not enough.. you have to think of them as the real living guru, and try to put into practice what bani says and teaches ... dont let the outside forces split up sikhi, thats what they want, they know that sikhi is the most strongest, courages, and truthful religion in the whole world.
